Yesterday, V and I went to Tesco to purchase some groceries and CNY items. To our surprise, there are a couple of items having price mismatch. Tesco is over-charging customer by display a cheaper price but charge a significant higher price at the cashier counter.
V somehow spotted the chocolate she purchased is priced at RM14.88 but being charged RM19.88. Since it is so expensive, we decided to return the item.
We went to the customer service counter for return of item and it is Tesco personel whom found out the price mismatch.
The young chap is helpful but we complained anyway. We get back our RM5 refund.
To our surprise, when we check thru the whole list, even our Shokubutsu refill pack were overcharged. It suppose to be RM5.95 but charged RM8.95 instead.
Since we bought 3 packs, we were returned RM9.
Tesco is doing a bad job on pricing, so fellow readers, please check your items purchased next time. It tends to overcharge.
If we didn't notice, Tesco has been earning RM5+RM9 = RM14 more from a poor guy like me.

Macro photography again @ Home
Good thing about macro photography is anything can be taken. It is just another perspective of everydays' items.

Close-up shot mania @ Home
Kinda like this dried rose. Photographed a couple of time. All close up are best viewed at full size. Click and view.
On the same branch, some were dried and some is still living. Somehow let me think of our society, some were dying/starving and yet some has surplus.
Money plant at home. Symbolize a new beginning.
Body soap bottle tip. A dash of green make this picture different. Actually it is shokubutsu and rejoice bottle. Hahaha.
Candle of aroma therapy.
My ring.
V's butterfly clip. Too close up, can see dust on the clip.
Hair pin with a hair dangling.
My pen from ELRVP celebration. Dont open full size for this. Can see the noise. :( Sony SLR for A300 is noisy.
Tap with dripping water.

Chinese End Year Lunch for Year 2008 @ Double Good, Penang
My boss has been very good and he personally treat us chinese end year lunch in Double Good Restaurant. There has been some org change in my team hence not too sure next year we will have this kind of treat or not.
Year 2008 has been a personal challenge for me. I start to make decision on some circuits design myself as I own non-core portions of the board. Well, there has been errors due to my inexperience but we are living over it. But that's not all, my lead DE left and I am then ascended to the lead role. While I am still inexperience on the design process stuff, here I am, leading some less senior DE to complete the board. Am I the blind leading the blind? Hope everything turns up well though, luckily we are blessed, no major issues turned up so far. God bless !!
I can write pages of my experience in 2008 but let's focus back to the lunch.
A visit to double good will be not complete without indonesian prawn in gravy. We had a good portion of it :)
Sea cucumber, mushroom, dried oyster in claypot. Another good dish in DG.
Seasonal fried vege with cuttlefish and shrimps. High cholesterol food must mix a little with vege for health reason.
Kerabu chicken (some sort like thai style). I personally prefer the three cup chicken which is also another signature dish in DG. But once a while switch to Kerabu chicken is nice too.
Venison in ginger and spring onion. Yes I purposely write it this way. Looking for venison is like looking for treasure in the bush. None the less, a nice dish.
Signature toufu. This dish is available in many restaurant but DG cooks it slightly different. Give it a try if you visit.
