I'm no good at blogging

So I guess I'm not the best at keeping up with my blog. It seems like since I became a mom I can't get anything done. Even though I am staying home now and I should have plenty of time to keep up with everything, I don't. I used to get so much accomplished in one day and that is just not the case anymore. I guess playing with my baby overrides everything else :)

Here is Miss E on Valentines Day. We had a very nice Valentines Day. Zach sent us 2 dozen roses and sees candy. But we went bowling and Sadie ate half of our candy :( and then we had a heart shaped pizza for dinner.
Miss E also had her 2 month doctor's appointment a couple weeks ago. She had to get 3 shots and 1 vaccine orally. It was sooo sad, she cried really hard and turned bright red. It took a little while before I could calm her down enough to even nurse her. Everyone said just nurse her right away and she will be ok but she was crying to hard! Here is a picture of her at the doctors office before the shots and then one at home after the shots.
She is getting sooo big! She is in the 80 percentile for weight and 90 for height!
After the shots she was very tired. I gave her tylenol also to help her with the discomfort.

Also a couple weeks ago we went to work for 4 days. It was not fun at all. Miss E and I definitely like staying home together much more. It was hard to get work done and pay enough attention to her. PLus we both caught colds :( I really was hoping she wouldn't get sick being so young but i guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. Other than that not to much has been going on. Oh and if anyone reads this can you let me know? It might give me more incentive to blog more often if i know people actually read it haha

here she is at work...smiling :)

Christmas

We had a great Christmas. E was the best Christmas gift we could have asked for. On top of that my brother and his family came to town as did my grandparents. It was so fun to spend time with them and for them to meet the new addition. Christmas Eve we had my family over for dinner and then Christmas day we went to Zach's family's. Of course Miss E was the main attraction! She was only a few weeks old and got totally spoiled! It was so nice to spend time with the fam and enjoy or beautiful baby with them!

Izzy loved holding her cousin and would inform you "this is my cousin" and "I love your baby" she was so cute! She sang to her and gave her lots of kisses!
Grandma and Grandpa loved loving the baby too and she loved getting so much attention and cuddles!

Skipping ahead

Ok since I haven't blogged since I was 32 weeks pregnant a lot has happened! I'll skip ahead to 39 weeks and delivery. This is my last pregnant belly picture taken 38 weeks and 1 day.

Our daughter who we will call E since this is a public blog was born December 7th, she was exactly 1 week early! And if you have talked to me during my pregnancy I would have told you she was coming a week early, I like to think I'm somewhat psychic ;) So the 7th was a Sunday and we went to sleep Saturday night around 10:30 only to be awoken at midnight with contractions. I woke up Zach and he jumped out of bed to pack a bag for himself even though I wasn't sure it was labor. So I had contractions every 10 minutes all night long and they were painful ones.   I couldn't sleep or even continue laying down while they were coming I had to stand up and walk through each of them. So around 9 they weren't going away or getting closer, I was convinced they were false labor since everything I read said real labor contractions will get closer together. I called my parents to see what they thought and they wanted me to call the hospital so I did. The nurse informed me they preferred mothers to come in when the contractions were 3-5 minutes apart. After I got off the phone they started coming a little closer but only about 7-9 minutes but I decided to go in anyways as the nurse assured me I could come and be checked out. So we got to the hospital around 10:30 and they checked me I was 6 cm dilated! I got into a room and was waiting to get my epidural but the anesthesiologist was in surgery so it was taking a while. I finally got it around 12:30 and it wasn't taking the pain away so my nurse checked and I was 10 cm and ready to push. I pushed about 1 hour and then our baby was born at 1:27pm weighing 7 pounds even. I feel really lucky to have had such a smooth labor and delivery and for it to have progressed to quickly!
We stayed in the hospital just over 24 hours and went home the next day about 3:oo.

32 weeks!

I'm 32 weeks today! I've started going to the doctors every two weeks now instead of four and we on Tuesday to pre-register at the hospital. I'm starting to get a little nervous about the whole delivery part as my belly gets bigger and bigger and I realize it has to some how come out :) I know women do it everyday and it will all be fine. I want to get an epidural but I'm trying to keep from reading the horror stories and all the things that can go wrong. Here are some new belly pictures. I think I'm getting bigger everyday!

Other exciting news

Lil had her baby!! Abigail Renee Adam's was born September 18th. She is soooo cute and Lil did a great job. She didn't even take drugs....crazy I know! I went after work on the day she was born and it makes me so excited to have our baby :) Abby and baby Stevenson are going to be best friends!

Adorable baby Abigail! She had so much hair!

Brianna also got married September 20th! It was a really beautiful wedding in Nebraska and I am so glad I was able to be a part of her day. We drove out the day before just in time for the rehearsal and then spent Saturday with Bri at the wedding and we left very early on Sunday morning...like 3am so Zach could get home in time to watch all the football games :) It worked out though because we had the whole day to get things done at home before going back to work on Monday.
The beautiful bride!
The wedding party rode around on this hay ride after the wedding and then it took us to the reception.
