Gingerbread cooler

We had fun decorating our big wheeled cooler for the Winder Farms contest!
Chad spent many hours cutting out the cardboard to my specifications then helping us tape it all together and finally decorating it with caulk, candy, cotton and other fun things.
We did not win the year of free milk, but we had a good time.

Cute kids and Reindeer accident

Brynlyn, Peyton and Trystan...
these cute kids are what keep me moving. Sometimes faster
than I would like. We're not always dressed or have our hair done.
But we are fed and happy playing all day.
While decorating for Christmas Brynlyn was dusting. She pulled a very large metal reindeer stocking holder on her head giving her a concussion, small wound and lots of blood all over the floor and her face. We bandaged her up and woke her every couple hours that night.
The next day Brynlyn was extremely tired, confused and felt yucky.
She stayed by my side most of the day and took many short naps in random places!
She is doing much better now and her cut has healed nicely thanks to Chad who brought butterfly bandages home after his church meetings.

Thanksgiving...

So much to be greatful for. I saw this funny quote about thankfulness, and
thought I would share!
"If you can't be content with what you have received, be thankful for what you have escaped."
I am thankful for...

the kitchen help... ;)

cousins

the adult table...

the kid table...

entertainment...

little ones that fall asleep almost anywhere...

and in funny positions...

eating icing while decorating sugar cookies...

First time for everything... thanks grandma and dad!

I am also thankful for the beautiful sunsets enjoyed from the back porch at my parents...

for cousin's that get along most of the time and love their grandpa...

sister's that love each other and have an amazing bond already...

and for fun project's that keep us up late into the night!
I am so thankful for many friends and family that we got to see and those we didn't
What a great holiday.

Air show

Last month we went to the air show. My parents and some of our cousins went with us. We had access to park on base(so nice) saving us hours in commute time and standing in lines.
I spent most of the time sitting in our little area of chairs blocking the wind from Peyton with the strollers and blankets around me.
Kaylee, Brynlyn, Wyndee & Peyton.

Checking out the guns!

Little dancers!
Peyton and I in our spot!

Grandma's turn to play with Peyton so I can stretch and walk around.

The show was very amazing, the pictures and video we captured don't do it justice.

Brynlyn was exhausted by early afternoon, she fell asleep during the grand finale with jets flying past dropping bombs and loud music. We had a great time, and hope to return in the future.

random pictures

A quick family picture before heading to church!
My mom made the girls very cute polka dot dresses, we
had to get a picture.
Chad with his girls on a Saturday afternoon. Brynlyn sporting our new curlers that are so awesome. She cant get them out(my favorite) but she loves to help put them in.

I love this picture of my girls!
Brynlyn's curls lasted all day. An exciting event for us, because she got my straight no curl hair!

The happiest baby girl! Peyton is such a sweet thing.
Very seldom is she sad... still can't get a smile on camera!

Splish-Splash, Time for baby's bath

Warning: cute baby bum visible! Brynlyn wanted to help with little sisters bath. To make it easy we used the kitchen sink. Peyton enjoyed every minute getting us wet. I'm not sure how, but she lost all the dark long hair... and is now a blondie like her dad was! So cute and chunky!

Peyton Rolled over!

After a week of trying very hard, Peyton is now rolling over! It's so cute to watch. She buries her face into the floor and grabs her arms together while kicking her legs up. I love watching my girls hit all the milestones in life... little and big!
A short video of Peytons second time rolling over, and the picture of her asleep after many try's. She loves to suck on her shirt, so her belly is often showing..!

Happy Birthday MOM!

A mother is a special kind of friend!!!
Happy Birthday to an amazing women that has done and still does
everything she can for all those in her life! Wish we could play and see you open your surprise.
This poem is for you mom:
My mother kept a garden,
a garden of the heart.
She planted all the good things that gave my life its start.
She turned me to the sunshine and encouraged me to dream,
fostering and nurturing the seeds of self esteem.
And when the winds and rains came she protected me enough,
but not too much because she knew
I needed to grow strong and tough.
Her constant good example always taught me right from wrong.
Markers for my pathway that will last a lifetime long.
I am my mother's garden.
I am her legacy,
and I hope today she feels the love reflected back from me.
I love you.
Wyndee

Fall, Pumpkins, Halloween

Chad & Peyton ~ so much alike!
A typical Brynlyn face!

The little kid corn maze at the local farm just a block from our house!

Brynlyn was extremely excited to see the Pony.

The line was very long to have a Pony ride, but Chad was a great dad and stood in line with her so she could have her turn. Brynlyn told the lady she is a real cowgirl now (not just for Halloween) because she rode a Pony.
This year Brynlyn was so excited and kept buggin me to carve her pumpkin...
Once we cut into it, she was grossed out and cried that it was to icky to touch! So different from last year when she dug right in.

Mad at dad for making her clean out the icky stuff!

But very happy with her toothy smiley pumpkin!

First trick or treat stop! Brynlyn showing off her stick pony and very cute outfit!
Brynlyn as Cowgirl and Peyton as Wonderbread!

Smiley girls!

Trick or Treating with Family!

Brynlyn and Uncle Dick!
Great Grandpa & Grandma Worthen talking to Peyton.
When I picked out Peyton's costume I chose the bunting that was on sale.
Come to find out that Chad's Great Grandpa brought Wonderbread to the valley many years ago... that is why the family lives here today!
Carter as Buzz Lightyear and Brynlyn refusing to let go of her cousin.
Chad & Wynd as the cooks, Brynlyn & Peyton.
What fun times with family!
