Madisen 10-18-2009. Stephen made her cage.

My ceiling was dripping again. So I tore off the tile square in my shower to see if my fix was leaking (see previous shower fix entry). It was not leaking! But where was the water coming from? The toilet. Well 2 weeks ago I got tired of snaking and plunging my toilet (it took me 30+ mins to get it working again). I went to Lowe's and got me the American Standard Champion 4. I finally put it in yesterday. The wax ring was compromised, and I belive that is were the water was coming from. The good news is my toilet no longer wiggles and this model is an almost no plung model as well as there is no more water dripping from the ceiling.

This is Maddie back in July of 2009 dancing...She loves to sing and dance to songs...it is very cute

This is the slide show that I wanted to post of my new dishwasher but could not...don't you just love it.

I finally got a video to post...yeah...this is Stepehn's 10th B-Day we had cake on 10-8-2009 because Stephen wanted to go to the movies with Mark.

9-27-2009 Here is Madisen on Greg's B-day, for some reason I cannot upload video of Greg blowing out his candels.

This picture was taken 9-19-2009, on the 15th she fell at Stuart's football game and hit her nose and right eye on a bench. I notice on the 13th her left eye had a small bruse and scratch. You can see her black eyes better in person.

9-12-2009 I installed my new dish washer, then on the 18th I moved is 3 3/4 inches. I love it because the controls are hidden and you can put in more dishes than my old dishwasher.

8-13-2009 After a day of searching the internet, 3 hardwear stores,

WalMart, and Farm & Home I could not find a thingy to cover the hole that I needed to cut to get access to the pipe, so I uses a vinyl floor tile.

8-12-2009 My bathroom tub faucet was leaking and water was coming out the back of the tub spout. I fixed the leak in the faucet then went to remove the spout to make sure water was not going behind the the wall, it was not, but as I was putting the spout back on the plastic thingy broke and of course there was no universal replacement part. So I needed to cut the pipe for a new spout. I found these shark couplings that worked wonderfully and give you a waterproof seal without sodering, if you have a clean square cut.

The color is called Under the Sea by Valspar in eggshell. I am very happy with the results. The pics were taken on my web cam so I do not think they turned out as well as if I used my camera, but I was playing around. I am thinking of staining the wood to it's original color, but as you see there is a lot of wood in my dinning room, especially on the ceiling. Now I need some craftsman style lights, and new window coverings. If I had a ton of money to spend I would get Pella windows the ones with the stain able wood on the inside with the blinds in the glass. The wood floor under the carpet has mastic spread all it and I am debating refinishing or new carpet. I am working on my stairs and landing next.

Yeah I win, it has been 5 weeks since writing in my blog.
