New York-en route to Paris May 2009

When we told the kids that we were going to Paris (thank you frequent flyer miles!), they were happy. When we told them that we had a six hour lay-over in New York, they were ecstatic!!

We got to fly on the same flight to New York as Sole and her friend Sabre. They were on their way to Rome, and then a cruise in Greece.

The only two things that they wanted to do in New York were go to the I-House where we used to live and see our old doorman Marshal and see the Bybees. I love Tiare and Atticus' sense of loyalty to those they love.

Marshal wasn't at work that day, but we had a great time running around the building looking at things and reliving our memories of such a fun time when we lived there.

Our old apartment!

Our course, since we were in the neighborhood, we had to eat at our favorite dive pizza joint.

Here they are with Cyra and Lulu--so happy to be together again in their City (sounds like a Journey song).

Soon it was time to go back to JFK and start our next big adventure--Air France to Paris.

Air France was way nicer than Delta! It was a great flight, and we were so sorry to hear of the Air France tragic flight to Paris that occurred after ours. We watched lots of movies, read, and slept through the whole thing.

Well, more to come soon on the next leg of our trip.

Hanging Five Trailer--Chris' new film

Hanging Five Trailer from Stakedance on Vimeo.

So proud of Chris and his latest creation!! Does he know how to create fun projects for himself or what?!--he just thinks of the things that he is most interested in, and then makes a documentary about them!!! We are off to France next week to see his film premiere at a film festival there.
