Steven – 7 lb 7 oz – I was kind of in a blur the night he was born, but he was so alert and calm!
Lillie – 7 lb 4 oz – Her labor was intense, but good. She was a sleepy head
Jonathan – 9 lb – Hard pregnancy, but totally worth it. He’s very patient and mellow
Steven loves to dress-up. His latest get-up is Batman, which he got at a friend’s birthday party. I love his active imagination and hope he continues to play and dream like this for a long time. He is getting really good at sounding out words when he is in a reading mood, and I’m really hoping he’ll start reading by the end of the school year.
Lillie continues to love baby dolls and dancing. She has cute girly tendancies, but not gonna lie, she’s got a very non-girly tough side as well. She does have some awesome dances moves though.
Tomorrow Jonathan will be 2 months old. The first month I was constantly sad to not be pregnant anymore. Now I find a reason each day of why I’m grateful to have my body be my own again.
We went in for his 2 month appointment this week, and his first immunizations. He cried initially when he got his shots, but after that he was fine. He didn’t seem to have any ill effects later either.
He’s definitely a mellow, patient, kid, and always smiling and talking to me. He is starting to like his bouncer seat and talks to the animals on that all the time now. We moved him to his own room at about 5 weeks, and he started sleeping through the night at 6 weeks.
His 2 month stats are:
11 pounds, 7 ounces – 35th percentile
23.5 inches – 82nd percentile
Head circumference – 15.5 inches – 68th Percentile
Funny thing is – He was my biggest baby at birth, my smallest at 2 months.
This one’s a tough one. I enjoy lots of shows. This first one would have to go to the duo:
Shawn and Gus (picture via here). Gus is probably my favorite of the two though. And I feel I can connect with the Super Sniffer when I’m pregnant
Bill Cosby (Picture here). Not only as himself, I love watching the Cosby Show on TV Land. It’s a good one.
All I’ve really wanted since Jonathan was born was to get professional pictures done of our cute little family. Darrell had the day off today, and he was kind enough to agree to pictures, even if they’re not his favorite thing. 
This one is the one I have on my piano now. LOVE it!
This also served as our 3-year pictures for Lillie. She was adorable! And she told the photographer her favorite princess is Snow White.
Captain Cheeserface didn’t get as many great ones, but we still love him all the same
And this little guy is closely approaching 2 months old! I cannot believe it. He is such a mellow, sweet, smiley little boy. I just love him so much.
Happiness
There are several people I’ve been close to, but if I try to think who I’ve been closest to the LONGEST, it’s probably Kacey. I didn’t really get to know a lot of my siblings until I got older, so I was very blessed to have tons of great friends around me.
Kacey has been my friend as long as I can remember. I remember birthday parties, girls camp, and we had the best group of friends in high school. Kacey was also my roommate in college. I also think it’s pretty sweet that her married last name is my maiden name.
Really? It’s been 3 years?! Not quite sure how that happened. Although, sometimes she acts older than 3, but that’s what happens because she hangs out with a 5 year old all the time. We just love her so so much, and even though she tries my patience often, I can’t help but love this little girl!
We had a birthday party with family yesterday. Lillie wanted a Minnie Mouse Cake and wanted to play play-doh. That was easy enough to do! I hope she loved it!
