Released.

For the last 3 years I've spent a great deal of time with these teenagers and leaders.

Only tears can fully described how much it has meant to me.

Touched me.

And changed me for life.

I was a part of something very special.

I have true love for them.

No Regrets.

Yesterday my friends and I went to see Florence and the Machine in Milwaukee.

My friends got to see her this close. Right up front!

I wish I could have been up there. Shucks.

This was my view. Still cool though.

Instead of at the front where I meant to be...

I was a miserable, pathetic, chilled to the bone, crazy-looking, flu-infected mess in the back.

I knew I would have regretted staying home.
Plus those tickets weren't cheap and I was so excited to go before all the flu-fun started.

So glad I went.

Florence is amazing. Her music speaks to my soul.

No regrets.

Instagram.

My end game is to one day print up my blog into a book for the kiddos.
It would be sad for all my Instagram pictures to be left out.

So... catching up.

25 Bananas. We Like Potassium.

Feeling fancy this morning. Herb Baked Eggs. Yummo.

Thanks Jess. Me loves it.

I'm all filled up.

It took 4 attempts and much coaching, but I can make bread now.

Your nostril is the perfect size for your finger. It's meant to be.

My Happy Place

Hide and Go Seek. We found her pretty quick.

Umm...

Make a Wish...
And Blow.

Weekly Grocery Trip.

If you are not sure what Instagram is. It's like blogging in under a minute from your smart phone with 1 picture. I like things that take only a minute.

The Short Club.

Hannah has been begging me for months to cut her hair short.

I have steadily said no.

Look how pretty it is!

And you all know I don't have a good track record of cutting my kids hair with success.

But recently she asked in a serious tone if I would do it. She said she really wanted it done.
(She has 2 friends with short hair.)

So I caved and cut.

But first I watched at least five You Tube videos about cutting hair.

After it was all done she said, "Now I'm in the short club!"

Hannah absolutely loves her hair cut.

She has told perfect strangers on the street about it.

I love it too. But mainly because washing and combing it just became 7 inches easier.

Favorites Forever.

34,149.

That is how many pictures I have on my computer.

Out of 34,149 pictures, there are a handful that will be my favorites forever.

In no particular order:

Hannah and the dying Butterfly.

Bucket Head Asher.

The abandoned kid on the swings.

Two related peas.

I want to squeeze the thighs.
And bite them.

1st picture. Dating for 1 week.

This reminds me of monkeys and raccoons.
And how they won't let their treasure go.
Where the Red Fern Grows anyone?

I love the serious look and squat.
Most beautiful 2 year old I've ever seen.

Only people dating would think a 17 hour drive to MT was the best trip ever.
Hannah somehow made it my computer desktop picture.
I left it because I love it.

First time seeing Asher.

Grocery Trip. They pass out every time.

I love how huge she looks. Like a troll baby.

It's the belly fat hanging over his pants that I love.

The look on her face is so her at that age.
A innocent devil child.

Air and Water show.
Might just be my favorite picture of him.
To this day, loud noises really really scare him.
It all started here.

Maybe this one is my favorite.

I just love it.
No one is as comfortable as a toddler with his special blankie.

Her love for bugs will be talked about for the rest of time.

When he wore these pj's, I hugged him much.

Will forever be my favorite picture of my sister-in-law Ely.

Asher's turtle face.

Most beautiful new-born I've seen.

I love it because everyone looks bad.
Hannah is crying, Jared's weird look,
my eyes closed, and Asher is spitting up.

My name is Lisa, and I take lots of pictures of the people I love.

Mini-Me Re-Run.

Raising Hannah is like watching re-run episodes from my earlier life.

Make-Up.

Rocks.

I see so much of me in her.

Picture of The Month - April

The general look Asher has on his face most of the time.
