If Hannah was a color, she'd be neon yellow.
The super bright neon yellow that almost hurts your eyes to look at.
She is turning into one cool girl.
She's fun. She's helpful. She's funny.
We love her.
But,
the age of insults has started.
I write many of them down for memory sake.
I quote:
You peanut butter jelly Mama!!
Mama, you're a poo poo cat.
You rooty tooty all the day!!
You're a poo pod.
You're a raspberry finger.
And today she called Asher a butt.
Don't worry. She gets in trouble.
She says way more nice things than mean things.
She is a very complimentary toward others. Especially me.
She recently told me, "Mama, you're my favorite color."
And I think she tells me she loves me at least 20 times a day.
And I get at least a dozen kisses.
And even more hugs. And I hear her say nice things about me to other people.
It melts my heart.
She still loves bugs.
Even a whole winter later with only a few in sight. She'll find dead bugs and play with them. She doesn't know it yet, but we got her a ladybug farm for her birthday. Comes with 15 ladybug larve. I can't wait to give it to her.
She's very loud. Her normal volume of talking makes my ears vibrate.
She plays with Asher and includes him on her random made up adventures. They have become best friends.
I now think it's great to have kids so close in age. (I didn't always think that)
Hannah loves preschool. She goes everyday. It's always fun to pick her up and hear about what she did. She is so excited to show me her pictures and do her homework at night.
Hannah loves to sing. She makes up songs.
Hannah has a ton of friends. They often request play dates with her. She plays so well with others. She makes friends super fast. Even with total stranger kids at the park. She isn't afraid to talk to others. I think she will be quite a social person in life. Hmmm... wonder where she got that from?
She's our girl.
