July 2016 - a good time to review 2015

2015 in Review:
(There are other photos and details I hope to add to this later but for now something is better than nothing)

January:  (late December- we surprised my brother Chris and took him to the dunes for a weekend with Taylor, and Tim).  Reed got his first dirtbike for Christmas.  He thought it was a toy, not a real one. Dune trip with friends in our ward.  Guys trip with my college roommates to SLC and said bye to Adam Ware who moved to Luxemburg.

February:  Both kids love going to the skate and bike parks.  Reed is a natural on a bike but not very interested in his dirt bike.  He's very interested in Legos.  I fly to UT for a weekend and have a successful time fishing the Provo River with my Dad.  I get to attend one of Taylor's BYU lacrosse games.  Our friends from Texas, the Treeses, come visit.  We take them to our fav restaurant and the Arizona Botanical Gardens.

March:  We drive up to Flagstaff to fish a private pond.  Reed catches his first fish by himself and Charlotte loves to net the fish.

April:  Junie is born! Cbug goes from a diabetic diet to a strict diet for nearly 9 months.  Fathers and Sons campout was a lot of fun with Reed, sleeping in the back of the truck under the stars chatting until 11pm.

May: Reed and I go to the truck races in Chandler and get to meet some of the drivers.  I take my quad out riding with Steven Kempton.  This started a chain of events that led me to get a dirt bike and get back into riding (Saturdays at sunrise).  Reed races  his first BMX race in Chandler and does really well, getting a trophy!

June:
Junie is blessed at Church and we feel fortunate to have family and friends join us.  I take the Young Men from Church to Blue Ridge Reservoir for 3 days.  We cliff jump, fish, and explore on kayaks.  We spend some time in SoCal and visit my Heyman cousins and college buddies Kurt and Steve and their families.

July:
We enjoy ourselves at Candace's parents home in South Jordan, UT for Pioneer Day.  Cbug and I fly fish on my birthday and Cbug catches 3 nice brown trout!  I can't get enough dirt bike riding on Saturday early mornings!

August:
I take the YM on a camp out to Haigler Creek, we have a blast.  Charlotte and I go on a Daddy-Daughter date for Ice Cream that she still talks about even today (7/27/2016!!)  Reed starts enjoying his dirt bike as we ride it after work in the grassy area across the street.  Junie is as cute as ever.  Not kidding we find a SNAKE in our silverware droor amongst our spoons.  WHAT THE???

September:
We camp with the Woods family on the Mogollon Rim.  The Dads and boys explore West Clear Creek.  At 3.5 yrs old Charlotte learns to ride her bike without training wheels.

October:
Reed plays soccer, his first organized sport.  He's doing a lot better in school and has settled in.  I realize a lifelong dream and race my CRF250R in the Prescott Valley Grand Prix with Steven Kempton.  I place 21 out of 35 riders.  Reed is an awesome mountain biker on South Mountain with me.  Cbug and I have probably the hardest month of our marriage.  We had these barely visible bugs called "rat mites" attacking us, causing us to turn our house and everything in it upside down trying to get rid of them for 30+ days.  It was miserable.  On top of that kids were sick (Doctors thought Reed had the Black Plague!), I was interviewing with another company and we were stressed out of our minds lol!  We made it through alive and celebrate our 7th anniversary!

November:
I leave Aryaka after 2 years and join Zscaler selling internet security across the Southwest states.  We meet my parents and siblings in Sundance, UT during Thanksgiving to celebrate my Dad's 60th birthday.  On the way up to the cabin there was a major snow storm and on 2 occasions we ran into a family of 7 that piled into our Tahoe on top of us for a ride out of the storm.  One of those families crashed their car trying to avoid crashing into ours!  We have lots of fun playing with cousins in the snow.  We see Santa on the Polar Express.  Sadly, Cbug's great grandma Horton passes away

December:
Tim and I do a quick dunes trip.  We spend Christmas at Cbug's parents new place in Oakley, UT.  It super cold but the kids have fun in the snow.  We do a family dunes trip for New Years and while it was fun it was a TON of work camping in the sand with 3 kids age 5 and under!  Junie is our third chubby, gorgeous baby in a row.

Did I miss anything?
