As I look at pictures of myself, I get a little frustrated...I need to get in shape so I can stay up with my kids, go skiing again, maybe take up "trail" biking:) (No - I refuse to do the Lotoja!) I did set a goal to climb Timpanogos Mt this summer.After watching Julia & Julie, I thought I would do a blog about my quest to lose weight...hoping that I will receive words of encouragement. There is a little less of me now then there was in this picture (May, 2009). I have lost 40 pounds since March, 2009. It is going VERY SLOW!
Positive things I am doing: attending Weight Watcher meetings; exercising with a buddy; my cholesterol dropped 20 points...
Not so positive things - blowing my daily points on the weekends; need to track/measure my food better.
The challenge for this week is to try 10 new recipes - being the cooking connoisseur that I am - this truly is a challenge...are there 10 different ways for me to fix eggs!?!? I guess I could mix it up with a bowl of cold cereal...oh the trials we go through-LOL
I will update you on the recipes that I found...any recipes ya'll want to share with me - that doesn't involve more than 5 ingredients and can be prepared in less than 15 minutes...is there such a recipe??...please post recipe ideas - can you do that? this blog stuff is such a mystery.
