We've been having so much fun this summer that I haven't even taken the time to get on and blog, or read blogs. Mostly a giant picture update with explanations. First off chickens have been a big part of our spring and summer. We are obsessed! It is sooo fun! We've even got some friends and family into raising chickens and now they are just as nuts as we are. Haha. Here's the building of our chicken coop.

These two pullets were favorites, unfortunately one got taken off with by a dog and the other died of heat stroke. :/ |
|
Our newest, most expensive pullet. We named her Fergie because she is rumpless, and Fergie sings the song, My Humps, but she has no humps. haha |

Crew found the egg basket and made a huge mess! |

We have a sprinkler on our garden and the kids were trying to drink from it. Soooo funny watching them get sprayed in the face. |
|
Sophie sings Fergie to sleep all the time. It's so cute, she really falls asleep. |
|
Our friend Nelson that we got obsessed with chickens. He borrowed Fergie and Kim to show his family how to hypnotize chickens. haha

As you can tell we have had so much fun with this little adventure and we're feeling a little bit closer to being self-sufficient. I can't wait til I can have a whole chicken farm. lol
