We went to Branson this summer for a couple day's vacation. We had never even heard of Branson before we moved to Missouri. It's a great place to visit especially for a family with kids although can get pricey. We did a ton of stuff including mini golf, go karting, riding the ducks, etc.
Sophie joined a dance class this year and loved it. Sophie and Brionna are inseparable friends as seen here. They do everything together including church and in the same school class.

Porter and Stock got a Lego set that has 1200 pieces and loved every second!
Hampton loved presents of any kind.  Gotta love that smile that he "hams" up every time he gets in front of a camera!
Stockton got a kick and go scooter where you step on a level and it keeps you going.  He loved it and was very excited to get outside.  Then after he got the hang of it, he reached for porter's old bike and rode it all day not having been on a two wheel at all!  As soon as Stock wants to do something, he does it but you can't force him at all!
Porter got a new bike with gears--24 of them to be exact.  He has been on it every day rain, snow or shine.  Good thing it has been record warm for December here in Missoura.
Christmas morning in front of the mound of presents!
Porter and Sophie in front of the mound of presents.  Wow!!  I swear they get too much every single year.  You can see out the window that we had a fresh layer of snow which made it really fun.
We opened Grandma Wendy's jammies on Christmas eve.  The kids were pretty fired up and it turned into dancing, racing and everything else that they could do to waste energy.
Stock was obviously excited about his sports jammies and about Christmas.  He is a crazy kid!!
Hampy's jammies are so cuddly and warm.  He wanted a picture on the toy box right in front of the TV.
This isn't the best picture but it was the one that had the most family members in it.  We had a great time on Christmas eve eve at our friends house making music and having a great time.
We get the occasional snow but usually doesn't stay around long especially in record heat for December where it was mid 60's.  Porter is a great older brother to Hampton and includes him on everything.
Hampton loves to cheese for the camera.  He spent literally hours outside even though it was 20 degress out.  He finally understands that he has to keep his gloves on if he wants to stay outside for a while.
Porter has started piano lessons and this was his first recital at the home of some friends.  There were 8 different kids that night performing so it was quite a treat.  He is doing very well and even sings his christmas titles while he plays.
Kids making chocolate.  Poor people who actually ate the stuff.

Hampton and Sophie were brave and sat on Santa's lap.  Porter and Stockton still won't even get near a Santa Claus.  They have always been deathly afraid.  But Hampton and Sophie are our laid back kids so whatever.  We had a good time at our ward Christmas party.
Stockton got a cowboy costume after halloween and that got him to want cowboy boots for his birthday.  We were a bit nervous getting those for him just because we weren't sure if he'd actually use them.  And you can't get cheap cowboy boots.  You have to spend 40 bucks minimum.  Well, Stock loves his boots and wears them everywhere but school because he can't run fast in them yet.
