 4 days KL trip
Initially i was thinking of going to Perth for holiday but well couldn't find anyone available to accompany me, sob sob...and then me and Roro came out with this idea of travelling to India but again to go alone was just not worth it.It was more worthwhile if i could find someone who can share the same room so that we could get a twin pacakge and it was far more cheaper than travelling as single.sob sob...so i end up feeling quite dissappointed, felt as though i couldn't move out and spread my wings to see the world. However, at least a short trip to KL more or less cheer me up. I met Teach and Nad with Maryam and Zura tagging along and we went to the International Bookfair at PWTC. It was awesome! Teach bought a whole lot of books.(of course Ft's books) me and Nad, we went crazy seeing so many good books. We shop shop and shop. The best part i manage to meet FT!!! (Faisal Tehrani) the prominent author that changes my perception on Malay Novel. I grabbed his latest novel-drama (Bila Tuhan Berbicara) and have yet to read it ( we have set up an unofficial book club ..Ft's bookclub cum fanclub hehe..) Around evening, Teach and Nad rushed to catch their flight while Maryam,Zura and I went to The Mall to eat....we were starving to almost death! Hah! We went to Kenny Rogers and the food was marvellous though i realise the portion for each scoope of dishes is slightly little now, nevertheless still enjoy it.so enjoy the mouth watering picture up there! hehe blackpepper chicken with macaroni and cheese and coleslaw! Yummy!

Ohohoh....actually this few days had been busy days for me. I accompanied my dad to do his check up at the hospital. Well, unfortunately no progress for his swollen feet....nothing can't be done. I think even the doctor was a bit speechless, perhaps he wasn't sure how to tell us.....whatever, i had all these immune in me.What's life without hardship ....what's life without test..... Back to the story, the doctor referred us to a podiatrist. I thanked Allah that we met him. He's a great podiatrist,(such a hot eurasian podiatirst! hehe) love his service very professional. Later, my dad and I discussed about how not every doctor can also be a motivator. Some doctors just could not be bothered on the skill of approaching their patients. As long as they managed to get the message convey, who cares whether we want to accept it or not.At least, the hot podiatrist made my dad's day and I'm happy with that. We'll meet him again within 2 weeks(yes!)I called it a day as soon as we returned home.I was so exhausted but of course it did not stop me from chatting around with Teach...yea there's no such thing as too much when chatting with her. We'll just go on and on and on simply because we are 'broadband' hehe! I really wonder now that Teach has gradually disseminating her 'aura' of literary works. Bu it's good..the spirit of writing and into Malay Literature has finally revived! Next day, I went out with mum (promise to shop with her) so we went to Geylang with so many things on list. My dad wanted Fish Briyani.Fine! We're gona find it for him, mm well ending up fish briyani for him, chicken for my sis and lamb for me..hehe we just lingered since nothing caught our eyes..well it was pretty crowded because it was labour day and i guess lots of peple just want to chill around. Nonetheless, it's a great day! smile* Labels: Briyani for us, Matthew and shoe

 ~Lost moir essence~
Well, eversince I had this long break kinda enjoy it. I got almost hook in front of the laptop almost 24 hours surfing and doing some side stuff. (Pity my eyes..they strain a lot sob sob)
However I can't deny that deep down in me i know there's something missing....despite the smile and the external satisfaction that i wore in my face..i somehow felt sobful. After all the signs that i saw, indeed i know, i lost my essence. i somehow tripped amidst the process of finding my true soul.I felt im going nowhere and the path that i use to draw out clearly for me to walk is fading gradually. At that point of time i was afraid that i will be carried away by complicated distractions.i know i have to react....before its too late..i need to find the essence...i need to fill it in me so i'll be 'alive' again. I pray to Allah to give me the strength to face this challenge.Amin

This is one of the best event ever in semester 2 06/07. It is the Train Trainer Da'wah and Course Dialogue workshop. It was great. We had students from various backgrounds attended the workshop. Basically we, the trainers presented several topics regarding Islam such as why Islam allows polygamy,Jihad ,hijab, marrying ahl kitab, authenticity of Quran, is women's voice aurah, misconception on Islam, Is Islam spread by sword and many more. Our main focus is to train future trainer to present the issues effectively to the people be it muslims or non muslims.

aha aha aha......after months of brainstorming, braincracking, revising and memorising...I'm finally free!! Currently, I'm serving 3 months holiday. Reminds me of my creative thinking class, as soon as u apply the wishful thinking method you have to claim "i wish everyday is a holiday" and now almost everyday is a holiday for me.(sob sob i miss creative thinking class) Initially suffering from decision-making confusion syndrome...i was thinking should i rest for quite sometime or start finding job immediately or just relax and travel to KL once a while to attend lectures whenever i want (women in politics....sounds nice) and do leisure readings or should i go to egypt to visit my close friends and i wanted to buy books..god soooo cheap especially arabic books.Have yet to figure out...huhuhu Simultaneously, i'm anxiously waiting for my result. Hopefully everything is fine.I'm looking forward to generate my energy and to infuse knowledges "leisurely". I guess its the best way of absorbing the infos rather than u memorise or read forcefully n hardly benefit anything. Current excitement: I'm happy that i have started to be engaged in an indirect bussiness.hehe some sort of exporting stuff..its cool to initiate the flow. Thanks to my roommate or else i may hardly discover my potential and interest in this area. I'm looking forward to meet Teach, soon to be Islamic Edu. developer (part time) hehe and yes i'm eager to be the committee in Ummatic Week. Tara rum pum taraaa rum pumm....

Well, well, well It's been 'eons' ago since i last blogging. heh sorry guys I have to admit that I have so many things to tell you but too little time to squeeze everything. Before that, would like to wish everyone 'Muharam Mobarak'. May this year be better than before and may we enjoin more virtues to seek Divine's pleasure. -Amin- MISSING MOMENTS Anyways, last semester was hectic but somehow memorable because I got the chance to witness the gleams of the ummatic week and celebrate the coming of Ramadhan with members of IIUM. Ramadhan in IIUM was so blessful with talks, and free food everyday. Terawih was the best..every night we got to witness people from different backgrounds and countries came together in the mosque to perform the terawih. I did not manage to perform terawih every night but I did not regret because i felt that the lost of not able to perform terawih had been substituted by memorizing several surahs from the Quran in the mosque. It was one of the most precious moment that I miss dearly. I miss watching the kids playing and running while their mothers are praying and I miss the sootheness each time the Imam recited the surah in terawih. I miss my friend's cook especially the 'chorbah' (soup) and the salad. I miss everything about Ramadhan.......Ramadhan...i will always be here waiting for you to come again....
