It's officially 12:01 am now so I can safely declare it to be the last day of 2008.Personally, I still cannot believe that 2008's almost over. However, regardless of whether I can believe/accept/come to terms with it, it will still be over after TOMORROW. Since 2009 is just around the corner, I'll try to reminisce the wonderful times I had in 2008 and look forward to 2009. :)
♥8 Things that have happened/I've experienced in 2008♥
♥Life as a JC Student- I'm not the kind who's the studying/mugging type so I didn't experience major changes with the way I work and play. But of course I've experienced major changes when I received my report cards and results. :P
♥ I met new people and made new friends- Friendship is a ship that will never sink, if it's strong enough and the two friends are willing to put it some effort and manoeuver it well as the captains of their very own ship. :)
♥My secret crush (:- Though this love was unrequited, but I still want to thank him from the bottom of my heart for making my heart flutter this summer. I'll never forget you. (:
♥CLEP Camp- It was amazing how I was reluctant to go at first and later on reluctant and depressed that the camp came to an end.
♥I bought a NEW laptop- Parents who are intending to get your children one upon their requests because of schoolwork/projects/stuff, please don't give two hoots about it. The computer, with your attention and surveillance is already a WONDERFUL tool. The laptop is just is a harmful piece of technology. I'm a victim (even though I deserved it). Harmful effects that your child will suffer include lack of sleep/lack of drive etc. And one thing leads to another so... :|
♥Family Outing- I recommend this if you feel down in the dumps. [Actually, it's great entertainment to watch too even if you're not "in the dumps"] I always end up feeling cheerful after having a great laugh when I'm blue. MC Yoo Jaesuk, Hyori Unnie, Cheonhee Oppa, Daesung Oppa, Jongshin Ajusshi, Sooro Ajusshi, Yejin Unnie, Jong Kook Oppa and all the family guests, A BIG THANK YOU! (:
♥SHINHWA Oppas leaving for the moment- I'll be waiting for you all, Oppas, like all the other SHINHWA fans will be. I'll be waiting for the SIX of you to come together and shout out in unison and pride once again: "우리는신화입니다!"
♥The stress of growing up- Peter Pan will never happen in real life. I've learnt to be less gullible and naive. I must grow up. Reality is harsh but I'm sure that as I learnt to be more positive (slowly but surely) I'll be able to not only to survive BUT glow out there! (:
And now... Not forgetting the ritual that I must perform EVERY YEAR...

I FEEL the DISTANCE w/o YOUR VOICE... Lyon says I must update. She says people will only tag when I update. I shall take her advice and update. Just a short update of what happened after my last post. :)
1. I fired the BOSS! :) Haha. I'm no longer working so I have time to do whatever I want now, which (unfortunately) includes a whole pile of HOLIDAY HOMEWORK that has a layer of dust on it already. Just mentioning HOMEWORK is enough to put me to sleep for the rest of the day. I wonder how on earth am I going to finish it... *SIGN~*
*BRAINWASHES myself that I'll do it for MY FUTURE and my INFINITE salary*
2. Camp V-Nest is over. Kids are really cute and cuddly...until they get really rowdy and mischievous and misbehave NO MATTER what you tell them too. Sometimes, 软硬兼施 also has no effect. Monsters...I mean Kids will still be Kids. :)
3. My cousin finally went home. She was a sweet little angel until today when I realise what a brat she was. My brother didn't even sympathise with me. He said I deserved it for giving in to her too easily for everything she asked for. Okay, actually I think it's "retribution" because I was actually feeling mischievous and I told her to stick her butt into my Bro's face. Haha. :P I guess he felt super pissed off and that's why he said that to me. 吾明白の! :)
Time to play chess with Mr Zhou. I've got so much to do tomorrow.

I FEEL the DISTANCE w/o YOUR VOICE... I' m currently working in the office. I'm going to doze off any moment. Yet I have a seminar to attend later. I think I'll probably end up embarassing myself...
But the sleeping time that I sacrificed to watch "Another Cinderella Story" was really worth it. I'm in love with Drew Seeley now. :) He's really this charismatic/charming/attractive guy any girl would want to meet and date. :) Anyway, back to the movie. I don't know how the critics feel but I think the movie deserves a 5 Star. I think I should introduce the movie to Lyon but I'm afraid she'll find it too intellectual. :) Haha. :) Lyon, we can watch it together like we did for "Picture This". I've got a feeling that you'll like this. It's about dancing. :)
Okay, that's all for now. I got to go lest they find out I'm slacking.
PS: Actually, I don't mind if they fire me or something. It's really hard work and terribly tiring. My pay's miserable compared to others. But Stella said it will reflect bad on us. So much for reputation issues. Sign~

I went for the CGS exhibition at SUNTEC and I was both a booth's nanny and a children's nanny. Booth's nanny should be self-explanatory; I took care and manned a booth; Children's nanny...There were primary school kids there and we interacted with them. They are a cool bunch, I must say, even though they kicked me, threw sweets at me and one even poked me with a stick. Their tall tall tall tales/cock-and-bull stories also made me realised that I have aged and I'm old. We have GENRATION GAP! Oh no! *Gasps*
Friday was the most hectic day. I went to school to hand in GPF, then after which I went down to Kovan with Stella for a job interview and then came all the way back to Bedok and visited Sundac with Lyon. We gave Christina the cups that we bought for her and her husband Marc. I'm telling you that the two of them are really lots of fun and I laughed till my jaws ached when Christina kept teasing Lyon. Heehee. :) Christina's love story is really very sweet. I mean, instead of calling someone and telling him/her that you miss her, you should try her method. 3 Miss Calls each time during Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner to let the other party know that you miss him/her. It's a really great way that I think all should try during this period, especially when Singapore is experiencing a 6.7% inflation rate. LOL. :)
Saturday was supposed to be UTP Outing but I ended up visiting my hairdresser for a haircut and a re-bonding session. I swear that the next time when I organise an outing, I'll make sure it works no matter what. Even if the guys are really not interested because they are busy (I won't blame you guys for this) or because Jasmine invited you and because it's an unattractive option because Jasmine is the one that dialled your number "DESPERATELY", I'll still make sure we have it. The more the merrier concept still can be applied with the trio SUPER-FEMALE "gang" that namely comprises of Dora, Jasmine & Lyon. :)
Today was the best day in my life because I did something good. I helped to packed the School's Library Books. Yes, we're finally FINALLY moving back! I can't wait! :) However, the best part only ends there. Considering the fact that I was drenched in the rain, then I sat on a seat that was wet, then I missed the bus, then my umbrella gave in to the rain, then (aren't you surprised that there's so many 'then's?) I nearly got hit by an egg that was thrown down by someone when we were on our way home...Okay, actually we managed to make up lots of eggs jokes because of the "egg incident" and we had lots of fun teasing Lyon... So anyway...
I'm starting work tomorrow. I'll have an early night. Sweet dreams... :)
