Another fruit couple

I made another fruit couple. This time it's Carrot and Peach. Peach is the hottie of the bunch so she has lipstick on. Carrot's a lucky guy.

I feel good now

I feel very inspired lately. I bought a sketchbook a couple weeks ago and it's been like nonstop drawing. I haven't drawn in a sketchbook just for fun in the longest time so this is so great for me, just exploring new styles and techniques.

It's also been a really long time since I did some personal work... like months. Like, ever since I started my job. Drawing all day long, staring at a computer screen for 9-10 hours, you don't really want to go home and draw some more. But I'm getting back in my groove finally. I just churned out a couple things that I'm really proud of.

This pattern is going to be printed on some fabric. I already have a ton of ideas of what I'm going to do with it. Tote bags, kitchen towels, bibs...

This last one is a collaboration I did with a friend. It was shown at a local gallery's art show back in the fall/winter. The theme was cupcakes so we thought, cupcakes are generally thought of as cute. We took one of the least "cute" things we could think of and then juxtaposed it with these adorable little cupcakes. So this is what we came up with. It was a pretty big hit at the show.

I have lots more stuff that I'm working on and I hope I'll remember to post them here since I tend to forget about this blog lol.
