BATAM, Here I Come!!

I'm happy. =D

I'm more or less done packing, just one or two items left. Started yesterday. My bag is like lighter than my Science Camp bag can. And Science camp was like only 2days-1night. -.- HAHA! I weighed 3kg yesterday. I don't know about now, cos I added stuff in.

I'm so excited!! A great time to spend with my class while doing OCIP. 4 days, 3 nights. So I'll be back on Thursday night. Yep. And I'm going to take lots of photos! =DD Sooooo long since I went overseas. Haha.

My Hao Peng You's birthday today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CAROLINE!
And Congrats to Ms Ng! She's getting married today. Or perhaps got married? Haha. I wonder what we should address her as when school reopens.

Met Marilene and Jiaxin yesterday and shopped in town. For stuff for Batam and walk walk.

H1s MYE gone.

H1s MID YEAR IS OVER!

Yay!!! It was so tiring and I feel so sleepy. Time to celebrate and.. BATAM, WE ARE COMING!! =DD When I suddenly realised GP was over, I thought "Batam!!" So excited. But I realised my camp bag might not be big enough.

Although my H1s are badly done. Physics was hard and not enough time. GP compo the one I study never come out leh! Argh. But I don't know also. Compre not enough time leh. And the passage B was so difficult to understand. Never mind lar, over already. NE Quiz, I know some, only. Haha. Caught a few hints. But I did most myself.

A-H had outing just now. From PS to Cathay. Ate at Ichiban Sushi. Siyuan ate faster than me leh! I was the last to finish. =( Then shop shopped. And went Cathay for Neoprint. Audrey left first. =( But we didn't forget her. =)

I am so happy that I can finally really use the computer and slack for a while. But H2s are just after the holiday. Tsk. There's still H2s.

Break and Exam.

It's Tuesday! But it feels like a day for slacking. Cos there is no school tomorrow, it's study day. Yeah, I will study tomorrow and later.

Reached school around 7 this morning for the 2.4 challenge. My 2.4km is not good at all! But I ran. I don't think I finished it anyway. It's worse than my actual 2.4. I don't know, I have this stretch kind of feeling at the back of my thighs since yesterday? When I walk, just a bit, a bit pain only. I thought I could at least jog. But actually no leh, I started the 2.4 and it hurts already. Cannot take big steps and it was soooo tiring. I almost died. I couldn't catch up with Marilene. Well, my 2.4 just suck. Boo. But I tried. =)

Went to find Mr San for the tee shirt just now. He said it will be too ex. So he say cannot and to make it unisex. Okay, I will, and I will TRY to scale it down to fit the $9 range. Is it possible?

Mid Years coming. Thursday and Friday H1, and after that BATAM and holiday! But the holiday is just meant for studying. Cos after that H2s.

The weather was so hot the past few days. Can die. After a rain just now, so much more cooling.

Frisbee during PE yesterday. It's quite fun actually. Though I was a bit blur about the rules and stuff. But it was still fun. Waited in class. Took some 5 min video. It's on class blog, funny. Haha. Helped Azman for the official at heats yesterday. The guys were running 4x400m. Javis, Zheng Yi, Ryan and Azman. I took timing. They came in 2nd and overall 5th. Good job, guys! =D

There were 3 people taking for 1st. We needed to take 5 timings, if I'm right. I was so nervous for the first timing cos I scared I lag. But in the end, me and the girl beside me differ by 00:00:01. Wah! I slower by that. Second one the same too. Then the rest not really. Then the last one, me and the guy got the same timing, exactly! Wah!! =D So fun and exciting. LOL!

Oh, and we did our chemistry test at the grandstand. Hahaha!! So cool!

CCA today. J1s learning a new piece. I'm done with the design. Thanks to Meigi! I think it's nice! =D I want it. HAHA!

The 800m Medley, which I am in, got 10th out of 16. Not bad. =DD

So tiring these few weeks. H1 mid years coming. Holidays are coming. So is Batam OCIP! =D

Heats and Careers Day.

Heats yesterday. Siyuan fell during PE, I took over her place for 800m Medley. Chong Mei replaced my 4x100m girls relay with the J1s. I was the third runner. I love short distance. Haha. But 100m is quite tiring actually. I practiced twice before PE. Tiring leh. Legs felt like jelly. Then PE netball, didn't run much. Then to heats, last item, Heat 2, lane 1. So nervous. Hahahah. First Gensen (200m), Jiaxin (100m), me (100m) then Edmund (400m). Two funny stuff. First, Jiaxin grabbed the baton with both hands, ran with right, then switched left to pass to me. When I was supposed to pass the baton to Edmund, I missed. Lol. But overall, it's really lots of fun. =D Muscle ache today. Hahaha.

Think Careers Day today. At least got people same as me for each talk. Infotainment I thought no one, actually it was no one, but Capri changed and there's some one. Capri 3 same as me. Haha. I think I like FASS or Science one.

Went doctor's just now. For the medical examination for Batam. I'm fit! Don't have to get injection cos it can last for 10 years. Last one was 6 years ago. Lol. Made me so scared for nothing. But I'm relieved. =) The doctor used the knock-knock thing to see my knees' reflexes. So funny. Lol.

I'm waiting for the dedication. =)

It's over!

First of all, Chemistry SPA is over! Yes, all of them! No more memorising for SPA! =DD Today's experiment is the most fun of all. All the bubbles are so nice. I like this experiment the most.

There's Econs test tomorrow. And two econs tutorial, due to the make up for SD. There's PE tomorrow. Netball! And after that, heats. =)

I'm listening to english songs these few days. Hahaha. Don't know why, but just feel like. First time I put english song in my blog. Imeem only plays 30 seconds now. =(

2 weeks later, we will be in Batam. Hopefully, the trip will not be affected by the H1N1.

But first, I have to go check up and injection. When was the last time I got an injection?

Think Careers Day this Wednesday. I don't think anyone will have the same talk as me... =(

Short weekend.

CCA yesterday. J1s learning, second lesson I think. Hahaahah. Shouldn't have gone. Cos I missed the chance to see Bobby. =( Tsk. Sigh. Hahaha! Kidding lor, CCA more important. =) Taught the J1s. And it's so hard to teach YaoZhi even though we went through the same learning process before.

Had Maths make up lesson today. Yes, Saturday. Met JYMS for breakfast at Shaw Macs. Was late for the lesson. Luckily it was Mrs Ang. And she guessed we went breakfast. The lesson seemed to pass so quickily, 1 hour 15 minutes passed in a flash, we were late for 15 minutes. Lol.

After lesson, went Cathay with Jiaxin. Ate many stuff and camwhored. Haha. Cos we had to wait for her tuition to start. Sort of waiting for time to pass. Wanted to study.. But we woke up so early this morning and sleepy lar...

Took the bus home after CCA with HuiXian yesterday after CCA. The bus had this alert sound and whenever it happens, it moves very slowly. After a while, it will be okay, then again and again. We expected the bus to break down. Half an hour passed and we were still not halfway. Lol. Then we were wondering why the uncle don't want to stop the bus and just let us wait for the next bus, he kept driving on. Then I was wondering if any bus would overtake us. Sure enough one did. And the uncle used the walkie talkie thing, or what you call that, to communicate with someone. I think it's the in front bus driver. He said his bus overheat. Lol. Then the uncle suddenly sped in front of the bus at the bus stop and asked us to board the other bus. So nice of him. He drove on to wait for the next bus so that we didn't have to wait for the bus at the bus stop. HuiXian walked home. Haha. It was somewhere at her stop.

Then today at the MRT, a guy wanted to sit down, then he kept fanning and fanning the seat. Hot? And after a while, he placed a newspaper on the seat and sat on it. But I feel the newspaper is like dirtier? Don't know lor. Haha.

Heard from Jiaxin that the Influenza A has reached Malaysia. Just hope that it won't affect our Batam OCIP trip. I really want to go, please. =(

A tip for whitening of skin. During a lecture, I remember it's maths, Siyuan used my eraser and rubbed against my skin. And I was joking, later you rub, rub, rub, rub away my tan. Then I compared my both arms. ?!?!?!!?!? My left arm, the one she erased, was lighter than my right arm!! I thought it was only me. Then I asked the rest sitting around. They said the left arm was indeed whiter. -.- Kuku, Siyuan! Then she was so happy, and rubbed both her arms with the eraser. Lol. And she left me one tanner than the other. LOL! So for all who wants to get fairer, try this. BUT it only lasts for awhile. Cos after that, my skin colour came back. LOL!

Jiaxin and I bought a 'couple' water bottle that day. Haha.

I'm so happy now. Cos Chong Mei just told me a good news. =D

I just realised something. J2s are not having practices anymore. Awww. I feel quite sad. Cos I still want to practise and perform with everyone.. All the funny moments and laughters. I miss guzheng. I haven't touch it for so long... J1s now. I wonder how it will be like. I have to start remembering names tomorrow. =)

PE, interclass handball today. Quite fun. Haha. And I stepped on a girl again. I stepped quite hard, during the first game. I felt so bad.

I am feeling so sleepy this whole week. Hahah.

What's war for?

I finally watched Red Cliff II just now. It's a nice show, really. It's so cool. But it's so saddening. Cos you see so many people die in a war. Maybe cos my brother is in NS then.. I hope for peace. Haha. Although it's impossible. Zhuge Liang is really so smart. Hahaha. I thought he was bad guy before this movie. Lol. See, it's enriching and educational.

A long weekend gone just like that. What have I done? Nothing. Sigh.

SYF Presents Performance.

Hello! Everyone, especially guzheng people, here's the video for the SYF Presents. I must thank my classmates for helping me video it down.

It's rather saddening. Cos I know we will never have a chance like this to perform as an ensemble again.

I kept watching the video again and again. We have practised it so many times, but it's nice to be able to watch and hear ourselves. Compare it with the SYF rehearsal one, I can really see our improvements. In terms of actions and stuff. =)

I'm so happy that Capri got something for her photo competition. =D

LOL! Was walking pass the notice board, with the tee shirt design. Then someone commented, "This is the worst idea ever!" Lol. Then I was like wth... Some people just never know. Haha.

Everything is over.

"SYF Presents" is over. It is really fun and enjoyable. Rehearsal at 2.30, make hair, make up, dinner at 5.30. Rehearsal, laoshi changed the first part, the section leaders start first, to be neater. During the rehearsal, I kept playing the wrong notes. Dinner was buffet in Audi Ex. Changed, passed the camera to the guys to help me video, and got everything ready. Then proceeded to the PAC changing room. Javis was in charge of Guzheng.

Watched the television from the changing room, air conditioned. Didn't expect sound. And it was actually loud. Haha. Watched the Chinese Drama. But could not hear what they were saying. Then the J1 dance. We started going to backstage. Then carried our Guzhengs and were ready to go on stage.

Everything was fine. Audiences arhhh... We bowed, they clapped. The part when we lifted our hands, the audiences wow-ed. And we all -.-". Then when we were going down to the second piece, silence. Then when Jesslyn nodded once, they started clapping. They thought it was the end. Then Meigi continued down. And we all chuah tio. Haha. So all of us lagged a bit when coming in. But over all, I think it is not bad. We've got claps and cheers, luckily. I didn't expect it to be so loud. Haha, good audiences. For clapping for us. Haha. If not, so awkward and sad. Hope they really find it okay and enjoyed it. There were 200 plus performers. Ended at around 9.45. Finale, sang school anthem. Carried guzhengs up. But ODAC carried most of them. Sorry and thank you.

Javis said he heard from behind that our performance was zai. Marcus said it was not a Bronze standard performance. And I was the only one who smile throughout, he said. Haha. But the rest got smile lar, just that got rest a bit. I did too. Haha. I'm quite proud of our performance today. Brother Paul said it was fantastic and he liked it. That's good. It's our last performance. And I guess we all did our best and we put up our best performance. Good job, CJC Guzheng!

Mum came. I had 7 clips and 1 pin on my hair. Reached home at 11 plus.

Photos tomorrow, or so. I've got the video too. But it's taking forever to load. 3 hours, it says. -.- And now it has stopped at 1 hour, 58 minutes. Maybe I shall upload tomorrow. Time now is 1.20 and I need sleep. But I still don't feel like sleeping yet.

And finally, Guzheng wants to thank ODAC for helping us so much, from the backstage crew, to helping us carry the guzhengs up. It has been hard on them, and they have so many things to do as well. Sorry for all the troubles and inconveniences. Thanks a lot. =)

SYF Presents Rehearsal.

First thing when I enter class this morning, Debbie said, your poster is up liao. -.- So fast. Then Miss Ng came in, she say "Ah! Before I start.. Qian Yi, you are the model!" Then I was like "ya." Haha. I don't know what to say. I haven't seen it then. She was like more excited than me, can! Haha.

PE today. Played basketball. Very tiring. HPY so pro. Haha. Good job, 2T31! We won 3 out of 4 matches! =D

The rehearsal started at 4.30, ended at around 8 today. It was so scary when you hear Brother say the comments. I didn't play well today. Keep missing notes and stuff. Sian! I must do it tomorrow!! Guzheng is becoming lighter when we carry it more. But it becomes heavier when we carry it too long. It's so scary cos Brother Paul was managing the whole rehearsal. He commented on everything, lights, etc. He said guzheng very good. Lol. Maybe he didn't expect so much from us. And very funny, he say start, we were supposed to bow. Then he kept asking us to sit down. Then we bow halfway, come up, then bow again. Then when we wanted to put our hands on the guzheng, he stopped us again, I forgot what. So funny. It is the first time he watch us play. Cos that time SYF, he had meeting and didn't go down to support us.

But it's really nice to watch the other performing arts. And it's really nice to have a concert like this, so meaningful. But then, compared to secondary school, the opportunities for performance is quite little. But I still like lar. Haha. I like the dance's SYF dance.

I hope we can put up our best performance tomorrow. For everyone, for our parents, for our teachers and for our friends. Jiayou, CJC Guzheng Ensemble! =D

Tired lar!

Tired of all tests. Yucks! Econs test tomorrow. Maths test today. For me, it's like what we always say, complex numbers are so complex.

Fund raising with 2T29 yesterday and today. Not bad, I guess. Haha. A variety of food. Come support again on Thursday! For our Batam OCIP. =) Thank you all those who supported! =D

Had the photo shoot for "SYF Presents" yesterday. Make up super long. Eye shadow very hard to draw. First time putting make up by myself. Last time like either seniors or teachers help us. Everything by myself. Haha. Went down, waited and many classmates walked passed. Lol. The person came out to ask us in, then he asked "Who's next?" Then he saw us, and thought Chinese Drama. -.- Perhaps we look like some 丫鬟 or something. Is that how you write it? It means maid, in the past. Went in, Jesslyn first. Had to play a bit, for a candid shot. My turn, the person asked me to smile more naturally. LOL! Ulcer pain lar! Haha. Hope I won't look wierd. Make up so long only for a while. Haha.


Had Netball for PE today. It is a bad day. Many people injured. 2 specs broken. I tripped Carl accidentally and his toe hurts. I'm so sorry. And I think I sprain my left ankle while jumping to catch the ball. Lol. A light one? Not very serious, can walk, only at certain angle then pain. I also don't know. Haha. CCA just now.

Anyway, went baking brownies, at Marilene's house just now. Nice lar. Must support, okay! Siyuan, Marcus and Edmund went. Very fun lar. So sad that my house don't have oven.

Practices on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday will be that thing. Then tomorrow, or rather later, will be quite a long day, something related to CCA too. Hah.

I'm awake! So early. My alarm so loud, sort of scared me, so I'm super awake now. I am going to the other part of Singapore, Jurong. Meeting 0930 there. Takes one hour. Haha. We are going to bake brownies for fund raising the next few days.

GP homework is a lot. 2 compre, including the remedial one, and 3 articles to read through. Then chem.. Econs test tomorrow. Planning to study on the train later. Haha. See how.

My korkor and I had runny nose yesterday. But I think I am fine now. =)

I hope I won't be late later. Haha.
