Back in SJC.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VANESSA!

I've order the guzheng jacket on Thursday! Yay! 5 of them. We'll be able to get them after the holiday!

Yesterday, was Edouard's birthday. It was also Teachers' Day celebration.

After CJ's teachers' day celebration, we celebrated Edouard's birthday in the canteen. After that, Jiaxin and I rushed off to SJC. We took the wrong bus and ended on the wrong side of NY, we wanted to change bus.. Then we took cab. We arrived almost the same time as QianHui, Rachel and Pamela. We saw then walking in. We ate the food we missed a lot. We realised that CJ does not have chicken rice. No chicken rice yesterday so Jiaxin and I ate the egg roll curry rice.

Then, we went up for the concert. Their theme was a charity show for the indoors sports hall. I still prefer SJC's concert. Hah. They asked for donations from the students as well. Oh, and they celebrated the current principal, Mrs Crossley's birthday.

After the concert, we went to find our teachers. We found Ms Su, Mrs Lee, Miss Tay, Miss Goh, Mrs Elang etc. We chatted with them but most of them were very very busy. We saw many of our juniors too. Haha. Miss them so much!

A difference betweem SJC's and CJC's concert is that for CJC, it's the students who perform and for SJC, it's the teachers performing. I realised that SJC's canteen and the hall is big.

HOLIDAYS! but not for slacking.

If anything goes wrong, it always seems to be my fault.

My Guzheng!

Yep, so I went to see guzheng with twin, her brother and mother, and laoshi. Qian Hui's mum drove us there.

We went to the showroom. There are many many guzhengs. Around 20- to 30. First, Qian Hui and her brother chose their guzheng. They tried it out. Then laoshi helped me chose one. That one don't have all the bridges, so laoshi helped me put all the bridges in and tune it for me. At first, laoshi asked me to try the brownish one. Then after that, all of them say the black one of the same design is nicer and more nai kan. But it costs $100 more! Then auntie helped me to bargain with that person, say $50 lar. Then she say, if not she help me pay the $50. Aww. So nice of her. Then the person say never mind, just $20 more, rounding up to the nearest hundred. So nice of them.. =) They wil be delivering it on Wednesday. =) So no night study for me on Wednesday!

Hehe.

Had the last practice of guzheng yesterday. 4 hours straight. Very fun, yet stressful. Haha. Had problems catching up with the fast part. LaoShi wanted us to close the scores. It's weird. If I open the scores and not look at it, I can play the part I memorised. If I close it, I will mess it up. Maybe I'm not confident enough. LaoShi say I 7788 liao, just that I'm not confident enough..

Went for night study with Siyuan, Jiaxin and Amiru(is that how I spell it?) yesterday. Whao. I can sit there and study for 3 hours! I have a sense of fulfilment. I'm going to go for more night studies. I thought I was going to die there. But time seemed to pass quite fast. I didn't know time can pass so fast when I am studying. It's good. =)

So so so.. Now, only I want the school guzheng jacket. That time have one, but she don't want already. Aww.. Should I still buy? I feel like buying. I think I am going to order on Monday, all by myself. Hah. I shall print "Guzheng Ensemble" and not "Guzheng" cos seniors' ones are "guzheng ensemble". Later I am the only one with "guzheng" in school. So weird and extra. But I still feel weird. The only J1 with the jacket.

Yesterday, LaoShi was talking about making an outside guzheng jacket. Then she say say, become guzheng tee shirt. NO!!! Hah.

I am going to buy a guzheng later! Woohoo! For me to practise. I am going to buy the cheapest! Heh. It doesn't really matter. Is there any space in my room? Lol. Then after that, I am going to meet Pamela for the dance concert. From Bedok to Raffles Place. Sounds so far but it's only 10 stations away. I thought I had to travel one hour or something.

Fireworks today? I can't go. But I think Victoria Theatre is quite near Esplande? Eh.. I don't know. Lol.

Hmm.

I wonder how's my econs project is now. Hanif is not online.

People are all feeling so emo now. Teachers keep reminding us that promos are coming. We know, we know. Whether I will pass is still unknown, there is only a slight chance. All my tests tell me I wouldn't.

I want to study. But I'm not really in the mood. I'll just have to force myself to. There are so many things to do.

I want to pass my promos. I don't want to retain. I want 1T31 to promote as a class. I want to take part in next year's SYF. I want to continue with Guzheng.

I have so many wants, but will they come true?

People ask their parents permission to use the computer. I have to ask my YOUNGER brother for the permission. How stupid is that?

Oh no, I sound so emo too.

Yay!

PE just now. Carried log. Very funny. My group consists of tall people, 4 guys, 1 girl. Carl, Gensen, Edmund sister and Arvin. I was in the middle. I was quite short compared to them. I did not feel much weight. But my arms still suan, can't imagine theirs. Carl is the tallest, poor Carl. Just now, when walking with the log, the right side still okay. Don't know why but come left side, the log kept hitting against my shoulder, the bone. Ouch. Painful. There's a blue-black there now.

During break, I went to Co-op, asked the auntie must minimum how many jackets to print the words. Auntie say does not matter! Yay! I'm gonna get one! Sister Huixin say can print with Interact.

Guzheng just now was so fun. From 4 to 5, only had around 6 people there. So laoshi and twin played LiangZhu together. And twin went through it with me. I'm starting to be able to memorise Canon in D! Oh ya, and LaoShi showed us the planning of the SYF costumes.

I'm starting to really think that I wouldn't pass promos.

Anyway, I think I'm going to buy a Guzheng this Saturaday! And I'm going to watch Miss Goh's dance performance with Pamela! =)

Guzheng!

Just came home from Guzheng. Today's guzheng was fun! At least I can catch up more. I am trying to memorise the scores. Opps, there is still guzheng next week. Next week will then really be the last one before promos. I feel like buying a guzheng again. =)

We did the notice board in the room! Thank you band for letting us have one! =D We shall share the room in harmony. =)

We are starting to discuss the costumes for SYF now.

Disappointing~! Just now, we asked if people wants guzheng school jacket. Then only one raised her hand. Aww. Which means only two people confirm want the jacket. How to print like that? =( But many were not there. But I doubt they want it too. How? I want the jacket badly. Lol. Can we just print 2 or 3? Lol.

It's weekend again. Time is passing more and more quickly. Just slightly more than a month to promos.

There's Maclaurin's Series FA, Physics Open Book and Chemistry SPA Skill C tomorrow! Aww.

Yesterday, went to check out the jacket price with Siyuan and Debbie. One is around $35. So ex! But it's plus printing and sewing. I want my GuZheng jacket soon! We are going to settle all this on Friday. Or should we just get the school one? Haha. I've got this feeling that we wouldn't make our own jacket. And my this kind of feelings quite zun one.. =( Notice board on Friday too. Friday will be the last practice before promos. I'm wondering.. Should I still buy a GuZheng? What if I fail my promos? Then my GuZheng will be useless already. So, I'm going to be very hardworking from now on, I hope.

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!

Today is 09 August! It's National Day. I don't really feel the mood yet. I miss this day last year.. I know many SJCians do too. Time flies, time really flies!

I haven't blogged much this week.

On Monday, 1T31 celebrated Hanif's and my birthday. Mine was on Sunday, and Hanif's was on Monday. They smashed cream on our faces. The cake IC bought the creamiest cake and it was super oily.

Then skip to Friday. We walked from school to CCAB. I was very fun. And we kept singing National Day Songs. So, time passed very fast and we were there in a while. Not as long as I thought? Then we reached CCAB and we sang national songs too. Then we did the dance. It was super fun and super high. Cos we were already so high during the walk.
I'll post the pictures next time. =)

We are plaaning for the Guzheng Jacket already! Yay.

My parents say I can buy a GuZheng, a not so ex one. Yay! =D So that I can practise at home! I might be buying this coming Monday. =)

Number 1 award goes to my Idol, YiXin. Haha. She wished me happy birthday via sms, msn, tagboard, friendster and facebook. Of course lar, I'm her fan what.. So, she must treat me nicely. But thanks to all the rest too!

The last match.

Yesterday was the GuZheng farewell party for the J2s. First, we ate. Then LaoShi presented the souvenirs to them. Then all the ex-excos and the present excos had to make some speech. Lol. I don't know what to say.. Just sort of anyhow say.

QianHui's brother came to CJ for DSA yesterday. But Brother Paul was not in school. So, he practised in the storage room. Heh. Maybe if he gets in, he'll be the only guy again. =)

Then had self practice. I practices for maybe 15 minutes and I had to go for the basketball match. Cos ours was the first match yesterday. I went down. I was super hot. I could feel the heat on the grandstand already, in the shade! All the girls don't even want to step out of the shade, no mood to play. But we had no choice lar. Cos the match had to start. At first, we were leading. But then, they say "Serious liao." Then they really serious already. They started leading lor. They looked down on us at first. =( But it shows that we are not too bad afterall! =D Then they said "The girls are good/not bad." Lol! Hehe.. =)Me and HaoPengYou not bad. =) I never shoot the ball in before in the pervious matches. =( The match yesterday was the best match ever. Although we lost. 1T31-1T17 26-35. But you could see our improvement. From the first round and second round, being thrashed, single digits. To the third round, just nice double digit, 10. And to now 26! 1T31, I'm so proud of you! =D We said, 2T31 next year is going to be one of the best basketball class next year! =D We hope! I really enjoyed the last 4 Fridays playing basketball. =) Quite sad that yesterday was the last match. =(

Then we stayed back to watch other matches while resting. I was so sweaty and hot and I did not feel like going back for guzheng practice. I think I missed out a lot on the practices. I'm gonna die on Monday. But some matches were really nice to watch. =)

The angel and mortal game ended. Brother says I'm the nicest angel. =) My angel was Carl. My mortal is brother and Jiaxin's mortal is sister. =D
