This is where I put Emmry when I need to get ready.

She loves the bathtub whether it has water or not.

School lunch

Today we went to the school to surprise Tage for lunch!

We got there a little late so really it was only a 5 minute lunch break. We stayed and watched him

play 2-hand touch football. It was so flippin' hot! Then when it was time to line up to go back to class he begged me to sign him out. Um, no. Sorry Mr., your going to class!

Bye Tage, see you after school!

Home lunch

After we got back from visiting Tage at school, it was our turn to have lunch!

When she is all done with what she wants she tries to feed you the food, feeds it to the dog, or just picks it up and then throws it on the floor.

Zeus is patiently waiting for his lunch too.

This is after a few minutes of me yelling at him to go lay down. His face is the same level as the tray so he has been known to join Emmry with her lunch and not sharing any with her. Nasty! Poor girl.

So cute!

She throws her cup on the floor too every time she takes a drink. She generally uses her right hand to drink with and that's one of the reasons I place her right next to the wall....so I don't have to pick up her cup a bizzilion times! The only bad part about placing her there is she gets the wall dirty and the other day I caught her chucking food over the wall!

After lunch we watched Baby Signing Time!

We watch this at least one time everyday. No joke. She get so excited just hearing the music before the T.V even turns on.

L . O . V . E the pig tails!

11 Months

Oh my! 11 months! This is so crazy!

*she loves horses and had her first horseback ride with Grandpa Gary
*pretends to talk on the phone when you hold it up to her ear
*CRAWLING!
*doesn't like peaches and pears
*can throw a ball
*loves Baby Signing Time
*is a little fish. loves the water
*still fits into most 6-9 month clothes and some 3-6 month onesies!
*follows me around the house like a little puppy
*turns the pages of a book faster than I can read them
*constant movement
*pull yourself up to everything. couch, bookshelf, chair, my legs
*got your first tooth!!
*recognizes names of Dad, Mom, Tage, Zeus
*says mama, dada, tay (Tage), daw (dog for Zeus)
*has slept through the night only one time
*I nurse right before bedtime and usually one time during the night
*likes to play peek-a-boo
*no more baby food
*discovered how to climb up the bottom stair
*crawls super fast

Emmry,

You make me the happiest Mom in the world. You make me smile everyday. I don't know how I would live life without you in it. You are so beautiful. "Hello Beautiful" was one of the first words out of my mouth when I saw you and I still call you "my beautiful" all the time. You are a special choice Child of God. I love you so much.

1st day of 3rd grade!

Back to School!

He had his clothes all laid out last night. Backpack ready. Jumped out of bed before I could finish saying 'good morning'. Requested crepes for his back to school breakfast and probably ate at least 10 of them. Excitement sank when I told him I wanted to take a picture and he gave me a hard time that I always take too many pictures. Then he was off! Riding his bike like a maniac up the street as I yelled "Bye! Love you! Have a great day! Remember who you are and what you stand for! Choose your friends carefully! (That's what my Mom always used to say to us when we left the house) I love you, Bud!" and then he was around the corner where I could no longer see him.

I bet you he is going to have a great day.

Dirty Feet

This morning we were sitting outside on the sidewalk waiting for Dad to come home (he went to the condo really early to check on a few things). I quickly realized how dirty our driveway and sidewalks were....

Emmry playing with some scattered rocks on the sidewalk. Still in her jammies of course.

What?! Where did that pretty rock go?

Luau

Have I mentioned how much I love our community? Well, I do.

Last night we had a free Luau party at the community pool. FREE!

Free food. Free drinks. Free games. Free performance from Polynesian dancers. They did dances from Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand, and a couple others I can't remember. And free treats! (I had pineapple! And yes, it looked exactly like this....yum!)

When you first walked in you were greeted with an 'aloha' and were given a lei, (cheap colored plastic ones, but still fun) there was tiki torches all around, food from the islands, beach balls bouncing everywhere, hula hoop and limbo contests, a tiki bar (for the drinkers), and lots of happy people. So fun!

It was a fun night! They probably had a fire dance at the end, but Tyson and Emmry were ready to go home. Tage could have stayed all night swimming....

Fancy Car

Emmry found herself an upgrade from her little push car. Too bad it wasn't for sale.

"Where's my big car?"

"You get what you get and don't throw a fit!"

"That's better! No more grumpy looks!"

Popsicles

We went for a bike ride today. Not a smart idea when it's 100*+ outside. But let me try to defend myself a little bit here..........

It was overcast all morning and wasn't too bad outside. We have been stuck inside everyday since we got back from Utah (well, besides hitting the pool.....) and Emmry loves to be outside. I figured that we would have at least the breeze from being on the bike to cool us off a little and plus, Emmry loves her bike trailer (thank you Kristin! We miss you!)

...........so we went out for a bike ride!

It was fine until the ride back when the sun decided to pop out from behind the clouds and melt us. It was a long hot ride back. We all had sweat running down our face and devoured a popsicle when we got home.

Kangaroo Pouch

This is by far my most favorite bib E V E R!

When Emmry is done eating what is on her tray, she just moves right on for seconds in what we call her kangaroo pouch. Plus there is hardly any mess on the floor! Sweet!

First Tooth!!!

Emmry is 10 1/2 months and her first tooth finally popped through today! I felt it trying to come in about 1 1/2 weeks ago and today I noticed that it was in!!!

This was my attempts on getting a picture of it tonight while she was in the bathtub......along with just some cute pictures of her little face.

Swimming

Tonight we went to the pool all together! It has been so hot lately! Ugh! I hate Arizona in the summer! Even if we are there for 30 minutes, it feels so nice to cool off for a bit!
