9,000 Little Ladybugs

In celebration for earth day our community had released 9,000 ladybugs! But first we got to play with them. Emmry didn't even realize what was going on. It was more of a laugh for me. One actually crawled in her mouth and I had to get it out before she swallowed it!

Wooden Toilet

Our community garage sale was yesterday. This is the only time a go garage sale shopping and I actually really love it! They do it twice a year. One Spring and one Fall. Perfect! On my list to look for this time were.......

*a small book shelf for Emmry's room

*ceiling fans (one for the office and one for Emmry's room)

*a small chair for Emmry

*house decor of really anything

Well, I am happy to report that I got 3 out of the 4! .......and then some of course.

I got..........(ALL for $34 mind you!)

*2 garage shelves (the nice big Rubbermaid 3 shelf ones! score!)

*a baby bjorn

*container full of cookie cutters in all sorts of shapes, numbers, and designs

*4 square chunky picture frames

*a small book shelf

*tall bundle of twigs (some old lady got the large pot that I wanted to put them in. Ugh. Now I'm in the search for a large pot)

*about 8 or so children books (oh how I LOVE kids books!)

And my most favorite purchase of all. So so so excited about it!

A wooden toilet!!!!!!!!!

Oh how I have big plans for this toilet! So stay tuned..........

Bike Rides

Emmry loves to go on bike rides! She will doze off for a bit but actually starts to whine a little when I stop. When I get going again she is content! She just stares out into space and is in her own little world. Tage likes it when we go out in the afternoon so he could come along. The weather is nice, but is starting to get warm by the afternoon. I think that the morning bike rides are going to have to be it now.

Mad. I need help

Riddle

Q: What do you get when you want to play with a stuffed animal and football? A: Tage at school recess Now let me explain. Tage asked if he could bring a stuffed animal to school to play with at recess. I thought to myself, 'what, are you 3 yrs old again? What on earth are you going to do with a stuffed animal at recess?' He then proceeded to tell me that if you are on defense and bring a stuffed animal then you can throw it and if it hits them then they are out. I said, " I thought that it was just 2 hand touch football." Tage: "It is, but now you can throw a stuffed animal or touch them." Tage saw me writing about this whole football thing and so he wanted to type what he said was the real reason. the people that made a club thing at school and then Hollis brought them then everybody brought them but I did not and then asked you if I could bring a stuffed animal and then it will be even.On defense it is easyer to get them down but you have to ame to get them.I'm not three years old are you three years old mom? love, your son Tage

ABC & 123's mixed with H2O

I busted out the foam letters and numbers tonight. I think I had more fun than Emmry. She just liked to chew on them and I like to spell things. I'm sure when she gets older she will have more fun with them, but as for now......I get to have fun with baffy time too!

Game Night

It rare. Very rare actually, but everyonce in awhile I can get the boys to play a game with me.

I like this game (Rummikub). It makes you think. Tyson even likes this one!

Trap

Tage thought that he was pretty tricky with this trap.

He had the door tied off with his karate belt so you couldn't open it any farther and you were suppose to step on his hat (hard) which had a pen pointing up so you would poke the bottom of your foot.

He even wrote what you were suppose to do....on toilet paper, because he was too lazy to go get a piece of paper and his bathroom was closer.

I have 2 1/2 weeks to catch up here. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. But here goes nothing.....starting from most recent updates on back.

St. George, Utah We met up with Tyson's parents, sister Kristy and family, and sister Terah and her two boys for a long weekend in St. George! This was our trip through pictures. Why spend all that money going to Disneyland when kids are just as happy playing in a pile of dirt. Ayden, Tage and Gavin Tage with cousin Gavin. I think Tage was connected to this kid the whole weekend! Petrogylphs hike. Tage being a goat. Brigham Young's winter home. The one mile tunnel in Zions National Park. Occasionally they had "windows" in the tunnel. It was kind of trippy really. Mountain goats just off the side of the road. Tage and Emmry on the shuttle up Zions Canyon. The Narrows hike (Not the actual "Narrows" 20 something mile hike, but the waterfall at the beginning of where you would start the "Narrows" hike. Make sense? Ok. Weeping Rock hike Just off the shuttle ready to start our day in Zions!

So long, farewell......

I owned this 1998 Honda Accord for almost 10 years to the date. It sure was a great car! Oh, the memories......

It died back in mid February. From then till today it sat in front of our house not even being able start. Dead as a door nail. It had some major issues!

Well, today we SOLD it. Yep, sold a dead car off Craig's List. Ty told me to list it weeks ago, but I finally did it today. He told me to just list it for $1,000 but I put it for $1,500. I listed it a little after 4:00pm and within 10 minutes Tyson called me and said that his phone was blowing up with calls and text messages. Obviously we listed it for a steal of a deal. Someone was already on their way to come get it.

Looking back at it we should have just taken it off Craig's List and told people never mind, we weren't going to sell it and then list it again another day for at least twice as much.

Oh well, what's done is done.

Sitting up! Emmry can sit up for more than just 5 seconds without falling over! She is sitting up longer and longer on her own. I can tell that she feels so proud of herself because when I start to clap and say good job she ALWAYS gives me the biggest grin. I love it.

Cowboy up!

Have I ever mentioned how much I love the community where we live? Well, I do! They always have such fun events offered some free and some for just a couple dollars. Tonight they had a western themed event. SO MUCH FUN! They had a mechanical bull, calf roping (on those wooden calf stands), bouncy house, music and dancing, food, FREE family pictures, and much much more! We definitely enjoyed ourselves.

My garden is complete!

Sadly it was only a week (if that) that Zeus ruined it! To say I was mad would be an understatement. He jumped in and made himself a little bed smack in the middle of my beans, peas and carrots. Grrrrrrr! I smoothed out the dirt and just hoped that something would grow.
