May

I will not get behind.  I will not get behind... Where has the month of May gone?!

We had a great Mother's Day in Payson.  The highlight of the day was holding baby Kyler!   Thanks to our wonderful mothers!
Seth came to town so Tyson, Easton, Seth, and Cody spent a morning at Strawberry fishing in the tin boat.  Easton had an awesome time and the pictures were so cute!

Callan and I had a date while they were gone.  We went to buy new sunglasses for both of us and went out to brunch at IHOP.  The best part of the date was going home for naps.  We both needed one!

Tyson studied his butt off for the last few weeks.  I went upstairs to check on him at one point and found him sound asleep.  I asked him how his nap was and he said he didn't sleep at all.  Caught red handed:)
He is now officially done with schoolwork!  He starts his rotations Tuesday and we're so excited that he won't have to spend every waking moment studying!  So proud of him and his hard work!

A Quarter Century

I'm proud to say I'm now a quarter of a century old.  I'm thinking the "are you in middle school" questions should stop aaaaany day now...

After work the night before my birthday I stopped at my cousin Brittany's for some yummy red velvet cake.  She is nice enough to share her birthday with me every year.

So lucky to have my grandma and great aunts here for my birthday as well!
When I got home that night, Tyson and the boys had checked off every single chore I had listed for myself to do on my whiteboard.  My neighbor said she almost texted me out of amazement when she saw Tyson scrubbing the back glass door:)

I took the day off work on my birthday for a doctor's appointment and look what they found.
There is some confusion as to when the due date should be, but probably sometime in November we will welcome this little thing to our family.  Hopefully no sooner than that.  Easton couldn't be more excited, Callan could care less.

Tyson met me at my appointment with study packets in hand.  He had school all day and work all night on my birthday, but I was glad he was able to make it to the appointment.  He brought me a new water bottle and some new Sanuk flip flops made of "real yoga mats."  Both were very much needed an appreciated:)

After the appointment the boys and I hung out at my parents' for a while and headed home for bed.  One of Kelsey's students made her a beautiful congratulatory cake for her engagement and my mom thoughtfully sent home the top layer with me.  She made sure to instruct Easton to put candles in it and make me blow them out.
The next day I got to go to BYU Women's Conference with these beauties.
Most of it went something like this...
That was the line for the class Katelin's mother in law was presenting.  I hear it was fantastic!  The line to the right was the one for Jamba Juice... I chose to wait there...

My Grandma Allen and great aunts were all there too and we got to go to some great classes with them.  I was so mad that the very first talk was all about the lesson I gave in Relief Society the week before!  That would have been helpful...
After a session in the Marriott Center, Kelsey practically forced me and my little prune to run all the way to the Smith Field House so we could make it into the marriage improvement class.  Ya it's a whole mile.  I Googled it.  My whole body ached for days!  It ended up probably being one of the best classes and we definitely got the best seats in the house.
At the end of the conference Kelsey got the call saying she would be able to be sealed to JD this summer!  It had to be documented.  We came up with some great hashtags for the moment:)
My wonderful neighbor friends took me out for dessert Friday night and I'm so bummed that I didn't think to take a picture!  I was a little wiped out from the women's conference but we had a great time chatting and the dessert was really delicious.  Thank heavens this was the first week I've been able to eat again!

We had celebratory pizza and cinnasticks in Payson Saturday night for my birthday and a bbq in Sandy on Sunday.  I was very spoiled by both my families and I feel very loved.
Thanks for a great birth week everyone!

Spring Catch Up

I don't know how I'm playing catch up again!  Here are some things we've done this spring!

Celebrated our neighbor Colette's 6th birthday

Participated in the Great Shake Out

Welcomed Baby William
I got to hold him in the hospital and he's freaking adorable.

Babysat Max for a week during Steve & Arlene's Caribbean cruise and spent the last week repairing the yard from his stay.

Enjoyed lazy mornings snuggling and reading books

Babysat Isaac for what was supposed to be a 6 week arrangement, but it turned out we were only  needed 1 day.  It was fun while it lasted.

Watched Uncle Hayden graduate from the Fire Academy and enjoyed dinner at Golden Corral.

Celebrated our neighbor Nikoi's birthday at Lowe's Extreme Air.  Tyson and the boys had a blast while I was at work and have been back a couple times since then.

Kate & Trace took the boys for a free zoo day courtesy of Burg Pediatric Dentistry.  It was a beautiful day and they had so much fun.  Mom and Dad got a much needed morning off.

We got a new nephew/cousin!
Kyler Page Provstgaard
Can't wait to hold him again!

Callan's been obsessed with his tools.  Usually has his tool belt around his waste with an assortment of both real and toy tools.  His needs are very specific.  Right now he's pointing to this picture saying, "That's me screwin'."
Boys have been crazy as usual:)
And it snowed yesterday on the first of May.
Fun things in store for today!
