You watch these shows where the rich have mansions with dozens of employees, inside and out. 

I don't need all that, but I've decided that I could go for having a gardener.  having a beautiful flower garden and the weeds all gone would be wonderful!

I was gifted this homemade chili sauce and crocheted hot pads tonight. What a kind and thoughtful gift. I so appreciate this gesture.

Lawn

Another great job of making my yard look great. I am thankful for this hard working family taking such care for me. 

There probably won't be very many more times this season. Seeing the yard mowed and trimmed brings me joy.

Eye Exam

I had my annual eye exam today. Things look good. We talked about seeing the computer screen without straining my eyes as much. Reading glasses of 1.0 magnification should work for that.

Shingles Vaccine

Watching loved ones struggle with shingles, I decided it was time to get the vaccine series, I went to Stewart's Pharmacy in Roosevelt for my vaccine. They mix a couple of serums together before giving the shot. The pharmacist who gave me the shot was very good. I honestly didn't even feel it.

My arm is definitely sore tonight and I am tired. The second vaccine needs to be in 2 months and then I will be as protected as you can be.

Blood draw

Good day - Tiffany got my blood with one smooth poke. That rarely happens because I can be tough to hit. Thanks so much!

Now we wait to see if the results are all good.

Back to the Fair

I decided to get out of the house and took a quick drive to Duchesne.

I was going to take home a pizza but they weren't open yet.

I have never tried ribbon fries before and think they look delicious, so decided to finally try them today. I had built my expectations up so much that they weren't as wonderful as I thought they might be, but I did like them.

While there, one of my favorite former 4th grade students - Dean Thompson - saw me and came to visit. I haven't seen him in forever so it was so good to see him. 

He is #5 Bareback Rider in the World!

I even got two hugs from him! It made my day!

I am so glad that he came over to see me.

County Fair

Thanks to Mandy and Mary for letting me tag along to the fair. We met Meg there for a time, as well!

We wandered through the Home Arts exhibits and the 4H exhibits, looked at the booths, and grabbed some yummy food. It was also fun to talk with people we know as we ran into them there.

Congratulations to all the kiddos in our ward for all of their hard work with animals and all other projects.

Fish Lake

We (Dad and I) went for a drive to Fish Lake. I had never been there before. It is pretty there. The day was overcast when we were there, but I thought still pretty. (These are not my photos.)
