I received a bag with this delicious fruit last night from one of my ministering sisters. Two kinds of apples, one of which is my favorite Honeycrisp apples. The peaches look absolutely delicious. They came from a fruit stand in northern Utah. Yum! Yum!!
This blog shows a bit of life in my world. It is a place to put down my thoughts and feelings and communicate with family and/or friends. If you stop by, leave a message so I know you were here!

9/11 Thoughts
My heart is full today for many reasons. Twenty years ago was the biggest tragedy that I have personally witnessed in our world. Thinking about and reliving the happenings of that day, thinking of the thousands of innocent people whose lives were taken, brings extreme sadness to my soul. It was unbelievable. Such evil being brought forth to our eyes. These things couldn't happen in our country, they were too horrible.
Yet at the same time, the heroic efforts that took place between strangers was miraculous. We had a world who united and pulled together to help one another. What has happened to that world? We need to give up petty differences and pull together side by side again. I long for that world. I wish you, the younger generation, could see that world, all of the kindness and love that was everywhere.
Not only do I have the 9/11 memories, but my mom had the first stroke of those that ended up taking her life. I remember talking to her on the phone and hearing how sad she was to be rewatching the planes crashing into the buildings over and over again on the hospital televisions for the days that followed. Mom never returned home after this stroke, as she had a worse stroke just as she was getting ready to be released. She was in the hospital and then a care center until she passed away in February. Sad memories!
To all those who have played an important part of my life, I thank you for all the love, concern, patience and teachings that you have given me. I am who I am because of having you in my life guiding me along the way. You are loved and appreciated.
