Mother's Day

The Gardner girls are always so sweet to me on Mother's Day.  Look at the beautiful sights of the day.

These are chocolate dipped strawberries.  They were yummy!  The strawberries were huge!

The most beautiful sight of all was see Cassy and being able to Skype with her for Mother's Day.

Teacher Appreciation

The school had some extra monies that were needing to be spent, so our principal bought us some things for our classroom.  It was perfect that they came during Teacher Appreciation Week!

It is Teacher Appreciation Week and some of the mothers put together a breakfast this morning.
I was home ill and one of my sweet co-workers, Kathy Toland, fixed up a plate and walked over in the rain with it. How sweet is that?

Here are a couple messages from facebook during the week:

Sommer Jessup Arnold: Hope you feel better soon. You need to be there for this week. You are for sure a teacher to appreciate. I still remember how I loved "rug time" in kindergarten when you would break out your guitar it was the best. Thanks for all you do. So glad my kids get to have some of the same great teachers I was blessed to have.

Kimberly Murdock: Awe, I remember rug time too & it still makes me smile!!! "Oh Suzanna, don't you cry for me" Get better soon! Perfect day to rest.

Dinner From Suzzy

I have had a terrible cough and haven't felt well.  I even went to the doctor and took antibiotics to try to kick this.  I stayed home from school and Meg substituted for me a couple of days.

I am almost too worn out to move, and I just had what seemed liked a huge coughing attack and was feeling sorry for myself because I am tired of not feeling well - when there was a knock on the door. Sweet Suzzy Rowley was there with dinner in her arms. Suzzy, you made me cry - that was so a SWEET thing to do. Thank you so very much!  I was so touched by her kindness.  She is a sweetheart!
