Some one on one

Before getting into our past mommy-son dates I just had to share this:

While I was out with Ammon getting ice cream, daddy was home with marek trying to get him to eat his dinner.

Marek was throwing a fit about eating and then begged his dad to make him some frito casserole. Chaz said, "no, we don't have time for that. Marek ran to the pantry and turned to Chaz, "yes it's easy! It is fast. It's just beans and fritos and then put it in the oven! Come on!!"

Lol. Although impressive, he still had to eat his food.

I took marek to the library while the kids were sleeping and Chaz was cleaning the house! Score!!
And it happened to be story and craft time. Yeah!

Mareks reward for good behavior. Once we sat down to eat it he said, "you know why I got the this (chocolate) ice cream? Cuz it's your favorite."
Love him.

Ammon was just days behind marek and now has earned his good behavior reward!:) After eating his ice cream we walked out the door and he jumped up in the air and shouted, "that was the yummiest ice cream ever!!! This was a fun day!"
Love him, too.

I went to our branch's pinewood derby to represent the primary. I took marek with me. Holy cow. He loved it.

All you can eat popcorn and front row seat. Can't get much better than that. As we were walking to the car he said, "when I grow up my derby car is going to be batman." I smirked and teased him, "oh. But maybe you won't like batman when you are older."
He stopped walking, looked straight at me and declared, "yes. I. Will. I will always like batman. Forever."

Shooting

Proof that I actually shot a clay pigeon. I hit more than I expected, although I'm not convinced it was because I'm good. What can I say, my husband is a good teacher!

This bad boy gave me some bruising!

No more monkeys jumpin on the bed!

I found marek asleep like this last night.

That's what happens when monkeys jump on beds. They break. And I'm SICK of it. No matter their punishment, they refuse to learn. So fine...

No more beds. If they continue to jump on their mattresses, at least they won't break their bed. And if (once) they break their bed... They will be sleeping on carpet. At least they can be thankful it's not hard wood.

I wish this made them sad. It doesn't. They are thrilled. I can never win I swear.

Olives

Rayce HATES olives. Upon seeing them he will involuntarily start dry heaving and gagging. I don't know how he got so traumatized by olives. Chaz thinks that Rayce thinks they are bugs. I think he thinks the smell alone is repulsive (I do!). It's weird cuz the other boys LOVE olives.

Anyway, here is a clip of his reaction. I just wish I had my camera when it was Way funnier, like 30 seconds before this re-do scene. Oh well... This is what I got!

Mother-son Date

Marek's reward for 10 days of good behavior is staying up late and going out for ice cream with Mommy. We had a blast! And he deserved it.

Let's start over

I haven't posted in over a year. Facebook has gotten the best of me... it is SO much easier to keep up with. I decided to give this another try.  I was pretty certain Blogging was a thing of the past until I saw that some of you have recently and continually blogged.  I'm hoping the mobile blogging has gotten better to upload and post pics. Otherwise, this might be the first and last post of the year! :)

Ammo and Marek's own version of "pillow fighting."

Utah at the Kunzlers!

Our time spent at the Kunzler household was super fun!

Jaydenn, Marek and Ammo had a blast together.
They were so excited to be able to share Christmas with each other.
They kept the Christmas spirit alive, every single day. It was so much fun!

Grandpa's favorite thing to do was snuggle with Rayce and fall asleep.

Utah is COLD! He loved bundling up!

Time to go outside, Mom!

Doing what Grandpa does best. Cuddling the baby!

All ready to go caroling!

The whole family is ready to carol and we have Ryan accompanying us on the guitar!

The kids slept together every night in this bed. SO CUTE.

My first Christmas!

Rayce wanted in on all the fun!

Jaydenn is such a great aunt!

Great Grandma Kunzler holding Rayman, named after her son.

Josh and pregnant Kalli :)

Singing songs at the Kunzler Christmas party!

Nativity
Marek was Joseph, Ammo was a shepherd and Rayce was baby Jesus.

Gingerbread Houses continued...

Grandpa's house caved in on himself. It was quite hilarious. He took so much time in smashing all his candy in a pastic bag to sprinkle over his house. He was really proud of his "unique" idea, haha. He was devestated and we all had a good laugh over it.

Ammo seriously was having the time of his life.

You can't tell, can you?

So proud of his house!

I snapped this picture ONE second before....

It collapsed.
He was so devestated. Tears started gathering in his eyes :(

I added this picture because of Ammo's mouth in the top right corner.
Such a goof.

Chaz's gingerbread house! Look at that chimney!

His was deemed the most creative this year.

Ammo's finished masterpiece. I was so proud of him!

The village

This was mine. I almost didn't do one because I was taking pictures and helping Ammo but at the last minute I grabbed what was left of the pink pretzels and put this together. I called it my breast cancer awareness house.

WE LOVE OUR GINGERBREAD HOUSE TRADITION!!! :)
