According to the British Heart Foundation's 2011 (50th anniversary) booklet only 5-10% of patients coming into hospital with a heart attack consequently die (as opposed to 25-30% 50 years ago)

Towards the end of the above minute of video, mum waves to a woman in the park who knew her, though didn't know here condition. This dog-walking woman calls out to my mum:
