Hello all!! Yay its fall! I'm so excited! Its my absolute favorite time of year! I love all the color changes and the cool crisp weather :)

So for this weeks challenge is to create something about fall!! I cant wait to see what you all create!

No onto my project :

For this card I used yet again just some simple papers (cream and olive)
For the Leaves I used some tim holtz inks and dyed my paper and then stamped it with a leaf (the stamp i got from the 1$ bin at Michaels)
The Ribbon was in a package of ribbons (not sure of brand or maker)
The Skittles are some of the ones that I hand dyed  in an orange color
The Sentiment is from K Andrew Designs - Fall-O-Ween

So please come on over and join us @ Simply Create Too  and show us your fall project!!!

Getting Cricky Blog Hop!!- Favorite Things

Welcome to the Getting Cricky "Favorite Things" Blog Hop
Each of us on the Design Team, along with some very special guests and friends, are so pleased to have you here with us!!  We have a special surprise for you at the end of the hop, so be sure to visit each blog along the way...  You'll end up at Kristal's blog where you'll get to JOIN the FUN!!  So let's get HOPPING to show you some of our "Favorite Things" about Kristal's stamps!!
If you've hopped along from Heather then you are in the right place!! If you are just joining me from your dashboard, or reading this via email, please be sure to CLICK HERE to start at the beginning with Lisa's blog (you'll want to catch up on all the FUN!!)...

This card was made from all my scraps in my scrap drawer :) Even the ribbon !
I did cut the fall leaf out with my cricut an outline cut and then I just added some pretty green glitter to it.
The "skittles" on my card were hand dyed by me.
I ran the circles through my cuttlebug with an embossing folder to give it a bit more texture.
The Sentiment is from the Fall-O-Ween set which I love not only because Fall is my favorite time of year but because you can mix and match and create so many different things with this set! If you don't have it yet it is one to add to your collection I promise you will love it ! :)

Didja know?
Each of Kristal's stamp sets benefit charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS  Foundation, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women, Camp Good Days & Special Times, and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help! K Andrew's stamps are all made and assembled here in the USA, which is very important to Kristal. This ensures all product materials are safe and that jobs are being provided and maintained here in America.  You can learn even more about Kristal's stamps (and pick some up for yourself) by visiting her online store: K Andrew Designs:

MidWeek Post Simply Create Too

Hello All!! Happy Friday! Its been a great week here well.. a little cold lol but all in all a great week! I went to a Taste Of Home Cooking show lastnight and got to see them cook some yummy things that I cant wait to try!!! Also Today is my dads birthday and I will be taking him out for dinner tonight :) I admit it I'm a daddy's girl lol! Well onto my projects :)

I wanted to make some simple cards for this post because Simple cards are fun to make too
So for the first card I just used plain pink cardstock for the bg and then white embossed paper for the top layer. Then I used The ribbon along the bottom to give it a pop of color. The bow came on the ribbon which I think gave it a great extra touch.

The second card I used cream colored cardstock and its a mini card  :) I also used a tag punch for the inside tag . The pocket and all of the sentiments are from Pink By Design stamps.

Chocolate Blog Hop!!!

Next to diamonds, chocolate is a girl's best friend and in some cases it may even rank higher than diamonds. This hop takes some neat approaches to chocolate so I hope you can take the time to hop through and see how these crafters expressed their love of chocolate.

You will start at Lorby's World (http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com) but make sure you make it all the way to the end because Tee at One Scrap at a Time is giving away two files from The Cutting Cafe (http://thecuttingcafe.typepad.com/the_cutting_cafe/) to one lucky winner. Tee will have all the details on how to sign up for the drawing when you arrive at her blog.

So get your box of hidden chocolate and enjoy the hop...

So for my project today I made a takeout container holding lots of chocolates YUM! :)
I used the Tags,Bags, Boxes and More 2 cartridge to cut the box...
The sentiment tag was cut with my stampabilities dies, then I added liquid pearls around it and
Stamped it with K Andrew Designs stamps.
I used a little twine so that it could be carried easier by my little niece :)

Enjoy!!

Thank you for coming today and now on to Lisa

Crazy Dog and Cupcakes Blog Hop :)

Welcome to our Crazy Dog and Cupcake Blog Hop!  What started out as a random idea for a blog hop turned into a funny theme!  We threw out some ideas on different "odd observances" in the up coming months ~ one being National Dog Day and the other Cupcake Day ~ everyone seemed to like these two themes so we put it to a vote!  Who would have thought it would have turned into a tie?!  So we voted once more ~ thanks to Pamela's creative thinking, she put the two together.  What could be more fun than working with dogs and cupcakes!  So sit back and enjoy the fun and creative projects the group has put together for you today!

Watermelon Crawl!!!

Welcome to The Watermelon Crawl Blog Hop! Who doesn’t like to bite into a red, ripe, juicy watermelon on a hot summer day? Yum!!!! If you drive down South, you can find people selling them on the side of the road, out of their pick-up trucks. I think these are the best, because they come right out of the garden.  You will always find a cute watermelon cut out at a baby shower or wedding shower, we eat them on the 4th of July, and we make sherbet and wine. You will find them in our kitchens; on our walls, curtains and cookie jars. And they are so darn fun to craft with.  Today we have some very talented women that want to share their watermelon crafts with you. So come do the Watermelon Crawl with us! You don’t want to miss anything so the beginning of the hop will start at Pamela's Blog http://www.kraftykatstampstudio.blogspot.com

We also have some wonderful Blog Hop Candy sponsored by Jennifer Fox. She will be giving away TWO dust covers ~ 1 for a Cricut Expression and 1 for a Silhouette Cameo!
To be eligible, you MUST do the following:
go to everyone’s blog and leave a comment
go to Jennifer’s business page on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/wunderscreations and like the page

Winner will be announced Tuesday, August 21 on the business page.

Here is our line-up in case you get lost,

The Outside of the card:
 The Inside of the card:

This card was so fun to make :) I cut the watermelon from the DoodleCharms Cartridge. The base was cut from Dark Green cardstock and the overlay was cut from a light olive color .. Then I just distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Ink. I made the gems on the edges and the inside from dying them with alcohol ink. I got the idea from another blogger (doubleclickconnections.blogspot.com) TY!!! :) And the sentiments came from K Andrew Designs

Now that you have seen my project... How about some blog candy?!?!?!?!
Since I have been so addicted to making these awesome scrapbooking skittles I am going to give some away :)

Back to School Time

Hello All!!!! Its been a crazy week here... weird weather .... lots to do yikes.. But it is time for another Simply Create Too Challenge... Theme is Back To School : (Stop over and join us!!!)

For this project I created a colored Pencil case :
I attended the UStream for a stamp release over at Pink By Design and we made boxes like these for the project. So i wanted to recreate it and make it into something for a school type vibe :)
I used all kinds of colors of plain cardstock because colored pencils come in all colors.  I Cut the Pencils out using my Gypsy and My Cricut  (there are also pencils on each side of the box. I also created a slider so that the flap of the box would stay shut and I wraped the slider with ribbon and added a pencil to it.
I added glitter to the centers to give them a little bit of bling and then I stamped them with my Pink By Design stamps .. I thought the sentiment was perfect for this box because colored pencils are tons of fun :)

I am also entering this into :

Polka Dot Hop

Umpa. Umpa. Umpa. We are celebrating national polka day but adding a twist. Polka is to music and to DOT so we have created things that have POLKA DOTS on them. How fun! Instead of making Polka music our talented crafters have made things with dots on them.

Start with Lorby's World (http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com) and don't forget to leave a comment and become a follower of hers because she's giving away something or other.

Here are my polka dots...

So for today's project I wanted to get a jump start on my Halloween cards!! So This paper is from the Paper Studio from Jeepers Creepers.. The ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam. I cut circles out on the cricut at 2.25"
The adorable stamps are from Pink By Design I love these cute little images!! :)

Thank you for stopping by and please continue on to Lucy
