In Honor Of Memorial Day

Happy Saturday All !!! It was a soggy day here.. Lots of rain and thunderstorms so I had plenty of time to craft. Since Monday is Memorial Day I made a card that I would like to dedicate to each and every service member past and present.

Recipe:
Plain white cardstock..distressed with Fired Brick Tim Holtz Ink
The rosette was made using the Ribbons and Rosettes cartridge along with the star in the center.
I added some bling to the stars around the edges to make them sparkly (sorry i know they are hard to see)
The sentiment came from K Andrew Design Set "Freedom Isnt Free"
I also used the same set to stamp the star.

The flowers I made with a paper doily that I had left over from Valentines Day and I just used my 1"
Hole punch and cut a small strip of green paper for the stem.
The Framed sentiment I cut using the cricut then added a white piece of cardstock on top of it with a little
Tim Holtz ink around the edge of the paper.

Mother's Day

Well Happy Friday everyone! Since Sunday is Mother's Day I wanted to post a card that I made for my mom. I still have a few to make but this one I am super happy with the layout and colors so I wanted to post this one today and I will post one for tomorrow and one for Sunday also :)

I am entering this card into the Mothers Day Challenge at Celebrate the Occasion
and

 Theme is Mothers Day

For today's card I wanted to make something super cheery and happy
For this card I used a plain purple background
then with patterned papers i used pieces from my scrap box.
I just used simple pink ribbon for the bow and the
butterfly cuts came from the Cricut Cartridge "April Showers"
I dont remember where the scalloped circle came from because I had it cut out
from a previous cut. But I did take my hole punch around the scallops to make it look a little different.
Then I stamped the white circle with Happy Mother's Day and I used the sentiments from K Andrew Designs

I hope you enjoyed my card! <3 Until Tomorrow! :)

Happy Monday All!! Hope everyone had a fun Scrapbooking/Card Making weekend!! :)

Getting Cricky's website a while ago about making your own wobbles. I really wanted to see how easy it was to make and I just love how it turned out :) Hope you enjoy

So for this card I used a pre-made card base from DCWV
Then I topped it with a piece of scrap paper I had in my stash
I added some flowers that are Prima Flowers the Botanical mix
then I added a few gold brads to the center of each of them
For the worm I used a cut from April Showers
Then for the sentiment I used my 1" circle punch to cut out 2 circles and stamped them
with K Andrew Design sets: Coffee & Tea TREATS tag alongs and Summertime Splash

Flower Pot Card

Hello all!! Happy Tuesday!!
I am really excited to show you this card I made because I am super happy with the way it turned out!
I must tell you first that It was not at all my idea because I was inspired to make this card from :

Photobucket

She has so many cool projects on her site !!! You should deffinitly check out her blog!!

So onto my cards :

For this one I used papers from my collections (sorry I have a lot of my books torn apart and sorted)
Most of my papers are from The paper Studio, DCWV and My Minds Eye
The Flower cuts were from Mothers Day Flower cart on the cricut
and the Flower pot was from the Freshly Picked cartridge
I used some pink twine around the edge of the pot, and some Tim Holtz ink to distress the flowers, card and pot.
The buttons I got at Walmart because I thought they were super cute!
The sentiment came from K Andrew Designs
"All in the Family" & "Owly Hoo Sentiments"
The cool part of this card is that the top which is the flowers and the sentiment piece actually slides into the flower pot which is put together to have a pocket that opens at the top.

Now for the other one I made for a more Mothers Day Feel:

For this card I used papers both from my collection and also from
single sheets that I bought here and there
The Flower cuts were from Mothers Day Flower cart on the cricut
and the Flower pot was from the Freshly Picked cartridge
The buttons I had in my stash and used some pink blue and green twine to add flare to the centers
I used some rik rak to the edge of the flower pot
Tim Holtz ink to give it deffinition around the edges and
the sentiment came from K Andrew Designs "Its Valentines"

I am entering these cards in the Paper Variety challenge : Be Inspired

There were so many projects to choose from but this one really struck me!!

Until Next time <3 :)

I love seeing all of the projects everyone has created and enjoyed the challenge of using my Disney carts and even some coloring pages! But all good things must come to an end and the Good news is that we still have ONE more day left after today!!! :)

For today's project I downloaded a cute little coloring page from the internet and just used some simple twist out crayons that I had to color it...(still working on the technique for my blending markers) :)

When I saw this cute little image I had to use it!
The bg paper is from My Minds Eye "Twinkle Twinkle little boy"
Then i used a piece of glitter stock I had in my stash to break up the pattern a little bit
I faux stitched the glittler stock to dress it up a tad bit
Then I cut a 1" circle from my circle punch and
stamped it with the K Andrew Design Stamp Set "Of Mice and Lil Men"
This stamp set has been my favorite set to use this week! :)
