Just wanted to say that I am combining both sites into one family site. Too hard to keep up both. Heck not enough time to update one, let alone two. So click here to go to the main Blog.

I Know, I Know - It's been too long
Here are some pics from the last few weeks. Natalie was a Fairy Princess for Halloween. She had a Blast at her school Trick-or-Treat Party, as well as that night around Grandma's neighborhood. Fairy Princess, Natalie was joined by the next-door neighbor boys and she eventually talked Ethan out of his spot in the wagon - he walked while she rode. And so it begins! We also had 'Meet a Fireman Day' at school, which she enjoy with her 'Boyfriend' Evan.

ASIAdopt.org Waiting Siblings
I got this e-mail and am passing it on. Hopefully someone will find these 2 sweethearts have a place in your heart.
ASIA has a new sibling group awaiting their forever families. They are Rachel and Reid. Both children have been living in separate foster homes and will soon be reunited at the orphanage. While living in separate foster homes the siblings have gotten together once a week, on average. Please read about them below. If you would like more information about them or any of our Taiwan waiting children, please contact Vicki at vickib@asiadopt.org If you don't feel like you're in the position to offer these children a home, help us find them their forever families by advocating! Let everyone and anyone know that these children are available- via blog groups, social networks like Facebook, church groups, culture groups, adoption groups, mass emails, etc.! Word of mouth is the BEST way to spread the word about these amazing children that are desperate to find their forever families! Without further ado, we would like to introduce Rachel and Reid:
Waiting Child: RACHEL Sex: F DOB: 12/23/01 Special Need: Healthy, older Rachel loves spending time with her younger brother, Reid! She gets along well with her classmates and foster family members. She is an excellent student and especially enjoys reading and drawing. In her foster home she is very helpful with the household chores and obeys the family rules well. She also gives back massages to her foster parents. Rachel is very healthy with normal eating, sleeping and activity habits.
Waiting Child: REID Sex: M DOB: 10/21/03 Special Need: Healthy, older Reid is a sweet boy who has developed normally and is on target for his age. He gets along well with his foster family members. Around the foster home he is very helpful with chores.

Uncle John's Pumpkin Patch
Natalie, Jon and I joined our local FCC group at Uncle John's Cider Mill and Pumpkin Patch. The day was beautiful, though a little windy. Natalie had a blast! She played in the sandpit, went through the corn mazes and then picked out the 'perfect' pumpkin. Afterward, we met up with everyone at a local Chinese restaurant. We had to tear Natalie away. She was having so much fun playing with all the little girls that she would have stayed all night.

Knock - Knock
All I have to say is......Who's the dirty rat that taught Natalie about 'Knock - knock' jokes? Her most recent one is.....Knock - Knock.......Who's there?.......Leaf.......Leaf who?.......Leaf Blanket! See what I mean? I just give a little obligatory laugh, while she is in tears laughing so hard.
