Well, January 2011 you came and went like crazy fast! I love the start of a new year and all of the goals and ideas that we set out to accomplish. It's already time to regroup and see where realism needs to come into play. :)
Joshua turned 4 and is as busy as ever and never slows down unless it is 8:00 at night and he is forced to. His zest for life is contagious. He is a silly boy at the moment and loves to make us laugh. He keeps us accountable for at least 3 books and 2 songs before bedtime. It's sad, but I had to limit on these good things or I would be reading and singing for hours. :) He is a super sweet brother and is really starting to love playing with Reese and is always asking her questions to make sure she is getting what she wants. He still loves those cars of course - especially watching Battle of the Supercars on the speed channel - oh, and monster trucks and pretty much anything else that has wheels. Thankfully, his favorite TV show is Curious George which makes explaining things to him a bit easier as I can usually say, 'Remember when George did....'

Our sweetie Reese has done it -- given up the binkie! I have to give the credit to Creston who made me stick it out a bit. Oh, and the blessing in disguise cold that gave her a stuffy nose so sleepy with a binkie was impossible if she wanted to breathe. She does want one to soothe her if she falls down - but hey she sleeps 12 hours at night without one so hallelujah. She is getting more and more words every day, but her favorite is 'Josh' and says it perfectly. Juice, socks, shoes, dog, eye, dad, and of course MOM are pretty clear too. She gives the best hugs too. Love her!
