For Grandma Sherry!
Ollie's Blessing Outfit
I never posted (nor took) pictures of Ollie from his blessing so today we had a little photo shoot...I nearly didn't fit in it...the little chunka chunk! Isn't that ^^^ picture hilarious! It looks like he just tasted something sour! :)
A lady in our ward crocheted those booties for him and they are so cute!!

My little dancer!
Tomorrow is Emma's first ever Dance Recital and we are sooooo excited! She is in a tap class and a ballet class right now and is loving them! She's a candy cane in ballet and a jelly bean for tap for the recital. I'm trying to get the video uploaded...they are hilarious! A bunch of 5 year olds following each other on stage. It was the cutest thing ever!
So glad that she is in doing something that she loves! She already can't wait until January to get started on her spring show!

On the 1st day of Christmas...
I {love} this picture!!! I want to have it framed and displayed at Christmas time!!! It gives me goosebumps and brings a tear to my eye. We celebrate the 12 days of Christmas since Max was born on the 1st day and we brought him home on the 12th day. So everyday we unwrap a Christmas book to read and tonights book was called Humphrey's 1st Christmas and it was about a camel who carried the wisemen's gifts to the Savior and it was so sweet to see the kids' face expressions as we turned the pages and they finally saw the picture of the little baby Jesus. They were both so excited! I love Christmas with Children. It's so much more magical!!!
Candy Trains for my birthday boy!
It's a family tradition to make Candy Trains at Christmas and since Max loves trains...we decided to do them for his birthday instead of a cake...he's 2 so he will forgive us...
*sigh* don't you just want to eat him for lunch??? He's soooo stinking cute!!!
This was the last time for the day that he blew out the candles...he practiced all day about 10 times!
Such a ham sandwich...
The glue man...
Mostly I'm showing off my ring because I'm wearing it for the first time in a year! I'm soooo happy about it!
Ollie cried through the whole party...what a downer!
His mouth was watering as he stared at all the candy...until we said go for it!!
And then the train wrecked and was gone! Fun tradition and there's no birthday cake lingering in the house. All the candy is gone and it was a perfect sugary birthday!

Happy Birthday Maxy!
I swore I wouldn't be "that mom" that wrapped birthday presents in Christmas paper...but he's 2 and so I think he'll forgive me! I think honestly that Emma was more excited about the whole birthday thing anyway. Max is so easy going that he could have skipped the day and been just fine about it. But...we didn't...we blew out candles at every meal, sang to him about 20 times as well as most of his aunts and uncles and grandparents who called to sing. He can sing the song by himself almost now!
I love this kid to pieces...I mean really, look at those big brown eyes...how could you not give him whatever he wanted??? Max is in the copy cat stage and repeats everything that you say. He is quite the talker and sometimes it's difficult to understand what he's trying to say but he will repeat it until you figure it out. He LOVES Ollie...sometimes too much...and I am excited to see that relationship grow over the years.
He has the best personality and face expressions. He is so animated and makes us laugh! We are so grateful for him in our lives and can't imagine the world without him. Happy Birthday Sonny Boy! Hope you have a great year!!!

Ward Party & Santa!
Emma told Santa she wanted a Rapunzel Dress, a red, sparkly Rapunzel Dress...to which Santa informed her that she could have it any color she wanted. I politely reminded Santa that the dress was probably already made at his workshop and it was purple....geez Santa...check in with your elves! :)
Max told Santa he wanted Trains....pretty easy guy...he is in love with them! He also was really mad that Santa only gave him one candy cane. It kind of ruined his night...

Crafty
So after we decorated for Christmas I noticed that my dining room wall was bare so I got to work and made this wreath and the picture of president monson and the picture of the savior. I love the way it turned out!!! Now on to my next project!

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Tonight after a long day of feeling wildly sick myself and kneeling before the porcelain throne several times I decided to cheer myself up and got some presents wrapped! I love Christmas but I love it more now that I have children because they make it so much more fun and special!
I can hardly wait for Christmas morning to arrive!

6 weeks...
I can't believe my little man is 6 weeks tomorrow! Time has really flown by. Ollie is starting to smile for real and is staying awake for longer periods of time. He eats every 3 hours on the dot and is a very noisy eater. He likes to take his time too...sometimes it takes 45 minutes to feed him. He doesn't love his binkie but he tolerates it long enough to help him fall asleep. He sleeps in his bassinet sometimes but still mostly with me and he needs white noise to help him fall asleep. He loves to be swaddled and loves bath time or showers! The kids seem to be more use to the crying and the sounds he makes so hopefully life will resume to some kind of normal routine soon!
Fun times...
I didn't sleep a wink last night because these two were throwing up and Ollie had a stuffy nose...here's hoping Mr. Sandman brings me and the kids a good nap today!
