Cake Painting Class

Ehem!....Anyone interested to join this class ?.....materials and tools (i.e. brushes and paints) already included...just come with apron and kitchen towel..this will be at the International Centre of Cake Artistry (ICCA) Kota Damansara. You will learn the basic brushstroke technique in folk art using food coloring painted on fondant dummy cake (provided). Pattern and practice sheet given. Call 6140 8835 to register.

Note : You must already know how to apply fondant on a cake.

Already Open For Business

With my sick nephew who is taking a break from the Hospital treatment on the first day of Hari Raya. I presumed everyone had an enjoyable time during the Hari Raya holidays. Anyway my shop is already open for business as usual. If you are around the area come and visit me at the shop....:-)

A student learning Intermediate and Advanced Folk Artrt

This is a student who had learned from me the Folk Art technique Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced technique which covers the traditional design like Bauernmalerei, Hinderloopen, Zhostovo, and Multi Loading.

A student from Japan

The past week I have been busy teaching this student from Japan who came almost everyday to learn several techniques in Folk Art like Shading, dry-brushing and strokework. She had covered quite a fair bit of design from Russia, Norway and of course Malaysia....painting Bunga Raya, Petronas Twin Tower and a Kampung House.

Multi-loading Technique

This is my latest piece of art work which I have painted using the Multi-loading technique which has been popularised by Folk Artist like Enid Hoesinger, Erika Armand and melinda Neist. The interesting thing about this brush work is that you load three different colours on a single round brush.
