Tribute to Summer by Stacy Nash Primitives
Stitched on 30ct cocoa linen with GA threads
My favorite, for once, was the border, ha
It was such a joy to stitch, I love the colors

Then I and Anna went to the Inspired Needle stitch-in. We stopped at the Vera Bradley outlet in a mall on the way there.

I also bought the Boysenberry address book she's holding up

My favorite Vera design is Canyon and one hope to own something in that pattern
The outlet store I go to only carries discontinued patterns, so they don't have the Canyon design there :(

I forgot to snap a pic of my purchase from the Inspired Needle
I bought a couple patriotic designs, a Word play by Brenda Gervais with enough 35ct linen to do four of them

I turned off the word verification (that annoying step to leave a comment) and will see how many spam I get, hopefully not as many as I was getting

Colonial Garden

I finished this last night, I love it!!!
I didn't think the color was washed out on my camera, but now that I loaded it, it's not very good, sigh! But you get the idea

Valentine stitching

Hello!!

The last couple days I've been busy stitching and finishing valentine. I only have like two other smalls from previous years

The first one I finished was a Valentine Stocking freebie

Ouija board

Happy Snowy Tuesday

I finished The Talking Board yesterday

I bought the frame at Michaels over the weekend that I'm not real happy with. I didn't have the stitching with me to match, so I did my best. This frame is most likely just a temp to take a photo. I tried to be creative..
without burning the house down, lol

Progress in freezing Illinois

Happy Weekend!!!
I hope the weekend has started for most of you
Northern Illinois is in a deep freeze, brrrrr!!!!!!
Here's my progress on Tribute to Summer




It doesn't make it feel any warmer, lol
It's the only thing I've been stitching on all week
I'm at a thread that is the same color as the linen, so instead of finding a sub, I'm putting it down and picking up The Talking Board
