Christmas Break

Well, it finally came and I am so excited to be home. Finals are done, the drive home is done, Christmas wrapping is almost done, and the wait till X-mas done is almost done! So now the 'done's in pieces!

Finals: don't ask me what I got, cuz I didn't look! I didn't want to ruin my break by having to think of the scores I got so I just didn't look at them. End of story! :)

The drive home: very unique this year. Not only was I going with Renae and Chris in Katie's car (KT flew home) but there was snow almost the entire way down!!! Even in Vegas! Renae got some sweet pics so you'll have to ask her for the photos unless I somehow get a hold of them as well!

Christmas wrapping: just a few more gifts and then I am done! This year I got really creative with how to wrap some presents, and even better, what gifts to give! I can't say it now because someone may look and it would give it away, but if I remember next time I post, i'll tell about it!

X-mas wait: is 2 days away (technically!) and it is sweet! The cool part is all the stuff we've done. once I figure out how to do the pictures I'll put some up!

Well, that it for now, but I will end with the note of me going on a lunch date today with a girl (Elizabeth D.). We went to Brett's BBQ and just had a grand old time catching up on each others life. Personally, I hope we can do it again! :)

Finals Week!

Well it finally came, and I am so wishing they were just done with already! The only thing(s) that are keeping me going right now is Christmas Break right after them, and if I pass all my classes with an A/B average, I MAY GET A TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes- i've been wanting a truck ever since I started to drive- but hey, I'm a guy :) that's what we like!

Ripped Pants

NO! not in that area! It actually happened across the knee where the small little wear and tear starts...just...this one was bigger! It went from seam to seam across the left knee. How it happened?

Riding my bike down to the library today, I slipped on a patch of ice while taking a turn. My front tire flipped out and threw me down. I basically slide-tackled the cement and lost! As a result (or punishment) it ripped my pants!

The little 'good' news that I have is that they were not new pants, and that they are actually already fixed! Took about 1 hour 15 min just to do, but I finally got it done!

Anybody want to help me fix it if it happens again??? lol

PS- today was LEGIT!!! it full-out SNOWED most of the day!

Christmas Season is HERE!

And just to prove that is really is the Christmas singing, 6 or 7 of us from our ward got together and went caroling. We had 3/4 girls and 3 guys so we covered all the parts and just had a blast going down the halls singing out to whoever. We even got a sweet complement from one of the girls dorms. "Oh, it's you! I thought someone just turned up their stereo really loud and were blasting MoTab or something." it was sooo cool! We even got requests to sing another song :)

Well, its actually in now, I got in glued back in on Sat. so I can eat like regular now :) and i'm just too lazy to take another picture of my mouth, if you really want to see it, just come visit me! lol

So I guess I found out why people like mouth guards so much! They help keep your teeth together- too bad I don't have one...it could've prevented this
from happening! Ya- the joys from ultimate frisbee!

American Heritage news!

so American Heritage has been really throwing my emotions around the past week or so. See below:
last Tuesday- 63% on Midterm after 10 extra hours of studying-->deep depression
last Wednesday- talk to counselor and feel 'ok'
last Thursday- find that the average on the test was about a 62% => possible C because of the curve
this Thursday (best news of ALL)- actual average was a 60.3%, essay I got a 22/25--> grade moves up TO THE B+ RANGE!!!
so in the course of about 9 or 10 days, my grade on the test went from a D- to a B+! What the flip!!!

Bank Accounts

Why is it that some places take forever to clear transactions while others have it done the next day? I've had a 'pending' creamery transaction for 10 days and it has YET to go through!!! what the heck!
