Here is the same conversation we have 500 times per day. He only wants to talk about cars, trucks and how cool they are. Such a boy =)

Another Urgent Care Visit

So Brycen has this wonderful habit of breaking my beaded bracelets. Its very annoying since I'm always finding beads all over the house. Well yesterday Brycie was jumping on the couch next to me and I happened to notice something shiny up his nose. Thats right...it was a bead!

I tried to figure out how I could get it out, but it was so far up there...there was no way I could get it. So off to Urgent Care we go (luckily they are right next door to us). It was pretty sad, they wrapped him up like a burrito so he couldn't move at all and then started digging around in his nose. It was bleeding and he screaming and I was crying. It was really a pretty traumatizing experience for everyone.

Needless to say...I hope he learned his lesson!

The Cutest Cousins Ever

We went camping with our family and Brycen and Skylar were SO cute together! They are only about a month apart, so are the exact same size and did all of the same things. It was so cute to watch them riding in the little bike carrier while Grandpa Robin pulled them. They both loved it!

Don't worry Linda...I'm not going to post the picture of you and the dog. Although I was tempted to =) haha

We had such a great time! Thanks for everything Linda!!

A Rough Weekend

I've had so many people asking me what happened and how Emily is doing...I figured this was the quickest way to update everyone. My brothers daughter, Emily, hasn't been feeling well for awhile now. On Saturday she was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus, a condition where she has fluid build-up in her brain. She is only 5 months old, and she had to endure a lot this weekend. On Sunday morning she had surgery on her brain, and everything went really well. She is such a little trooper and we are so proud of her! Its not fair that an infant would have to go through something like this, but I know life's not always fair. Please get better soon Emily, we love you so much and just want you to be able to go home!!!

Race Car Bed and a Little Bit of Jibberish

So we took down Brycen's crib the other day because he is sleeping so well in his new race car bed! He actually took to it really well, when he first saw it he yelled, "COOL! CARS!" Other then a couple of difficult naptimes where he ends up sleeping on the floor in his room because he gets out of bed to play...its been a piece of cake transitioning him from the crib to the bed.
