End of the Year Round Up

Okay, so here's the thing, Lisa is super-duper preggo. So I, her sister-in-law Aimee (or Rory depending on who you are...), will be updating her blog today!

There's been a ton of stuff going on in the Allen household including Anna's 6th birthday, Mason's 1st birthday, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and keeping those twins hanging in there! I've searched everywhere for pictures, and here is what I could come up with.

This is Lisa on Thanksgiving. Very pregnant, yet happy and smiling!

Here is Rachel, cousin Emma, and Anna right before eating our Thanksgiving feast.

The weekend after Thanksgiving, Lisa and her family went to a Christmas Tree farm. It was surprisingly a lot of fun! It's definitely worth going again!
Here's the Jones Family on our way to pick out a tree.

Here is Mason in all his cuteness.

Lisa at the Christmas tree farm. I keep snapping pictures of Lisa becuase at this point you never know when it's going to be her last! Isn't she a gorgeous pregnant lady?!

Matt and I have been spending a lot of time with the kids. This is Matt's choice of entertainment.

I keep telling Lisa she should enter this child in a modeling contest...

So things are going good for them. About a week and a half ago Lisa went into labor, but the doctors were able to stop the contractions. After a few days in the hospital, Lisa has been on bedrest at home. She talked with the Dr. and they both think it would be great to try for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day babies! Let's see if she makes it that far!

Lisa is hanging in there, and is quite optimistic as always.

Show her some love and leave a friendly comment! She would love to read those!

No More Dress up Truck Are In!!

Yes Mason is going to have 2 brothers he will no longer be a lone ranger. Today was the day it was confirmed that the testosterone is taking over in the Allen home, good thing we have strong willed girls to go with it. We are very excited for these 2 to join our family in Early January. I don't know how it is all going to play out but I guess I won't until I jump in.

Baby, Oh Baby!

First and foremost, the Allen Family has an important announcement we would like to make...

We're expecting!

TWINS!!

That's right, baby #4 and #5 will be making their grand debut sometime in January!

For those of you who don't know, our little Mason is just shy of 7 months old. So, when I thought I might be pregnant again, I was pretty surprised! I went to the doctor who told me that I might have a false pregnancy (they couldn't locate the baby). I scheduled another appointment for a week and a half later that would tell me for sure if I was pregnant or not.

For a week and a half I thought about how our lives would change with having another child. I went back and forth from being excited to feeling unready. When I finally went to my doctor's appointment, it went something like this:

Me: Am I pregnant?

Doctor: Yes.

Me: I am?! Okay...

Doctor: With twins.

Me: "WHAT?!?!?!"

Shocked is an understatement! I went in there not knowing if I was pregnant...and I came out knowing I was going to have two more babies! Crazy, huh?! Currently, I am six weeks along and feeling fairly well. I have had some morning sickness, but nothing too bad.

Anna and Rachel are still coming around to the idea that Mommy is pregnant. When I told them, Anna insisted that I couldn't possibly be pregnant because my tummy isn't big...just give it a few more months dear!

While Lance and I are still getting used to the idea of having 5 children, we are confident that everything is going to be okay. We have great family and friends who will be there to support me as my family expands a little more!

Rachel is 3!!!

I can't believe it has been 3 years looking back it has flown by but in the moment it seemed like forever. These past 3 years have been full of joy and excitement. As all of you know Rachel You know what I am talking about 3 years ago yesterday I gave birth to Rachel in Utah while Lance was making us a home in Texas. We made major changes during the birth of Rachel. Not only a move a new home and new job and new add on in our family. Rachel keeps me going she is the first one to wake me up in the morning to take a shower. She is the one that reminds me it is time to eat she is the one who says the best things and is the one that can climb and get anything she wants no matter where it is at. Some days I wondered how she made it though with out serious injury. There are many times I say can you stop being like your father so I can understand what you really need. Rachel is definitely the highlight of many moments and memory in my life. I love you Rachel !!!

Wits End

The last 2 days have been very destructive and has put me to my wits end. It all started yesterday afternoon when I stepped in an ant pile trying to pick weeds in the yard. Then it was the Costco run a hour latter that really put me over the edge. I had ordered some pictures from them I went pick them up and as some of you know my sister is a photographer and has been taking pic of us and I have been developing them at Costco. Anyway as I went to get them keep in mind I have all 3 kids with me the lady there would not give them to me because I didn't have a release I kept telling her my sister took these I shouldn't need a releases. While disagreeing with me I turn around and see Anna and Rachel climbing on a palit of wine. I quickly pulled then down and out then in the cart while talking to my sister in the phone and as I turned around to see if this lady would give me these picture I softly hit the palit with my shoulder and CRASH BANG yes it fell wine every were but on top of being covered now in Aolchol the Burning started from the ant bites on my ankles while still disagreeing with this woman about the pictures my sister took. So to say the least after a hour of wine smelling cloths and children screaming crying and yelling I left with out my photos. After coming home cooling down changed my cloths my sweet mom came over made dinner for us and took Anna to swimming what a life saver. My children did survive the day and I will get my pictures some how

Today again started out OK got my Visiting teaching done went and picked up Anna from school, dropped off carpool and Anna handed her brother her art project on the drive home not think I thought is was cute that she was sharing But I don't know how cute is really was you tell me????
