I can't believe that B is already one month old! Time flies by when your sleep deprived. ;) He is getting so big, every time I look at him it seems like he's a little larger. He was 11 lbs. 6 oz. and 22.5 inches at his one month appointment, which is about the same size V was at 2 months. It's strange having a baby with chunky cheeks and thighs.
He's doing well and eating a lot. He's a bit of a grunter and often makes a bleating sound like a goat. Yeah, it's weird. He is starting to smile more, especially as he drifts off. He even laughs in his sleep which is really cute. He must have some good dreams.
His hair is still crazy and sticks up. It's got some body to it, but it isn't as curly as C's was. It will be interesting to see if he keeps it like C or loses it like V.
All in all, he's an easy going baby. He really only gets upset if he's hungry, in the car seat or if I try to give him a pacifier. I think he takes that last one as a personal affront.

The honesty of youth...
I felt relatively refreshed this morning. R had let me take a nice nap yesterday afternoon, and last night went fairly well with the baby.
So I had a good laugh this morning when V was drawing an eye. He looked up at my face, after which he immediately added all the veins from my blood shot eyes.I guess I'm not as rested as I thought.

Fun with Grandma G
Grandma G came down to help us with the new baby. The boys were so excited to have her here. The first morning she was here, the boys woke up before six to see her. They acted like it was Christmas. On the way to school, V said it was "the most awesome day ever" because she was here.
We took Grandma to the botanical gardens so she could see a little bit of Birmingham before the baby came.
There were a lot of beautiful flowers and plenty of sticks, so fun could be had by all.
Here's a before picture. Man, my belly looks big.
Grandma spent plenty of time doing puzzles and reading to the boys.
Even B seemed to be paying attention.
She also played way more UNO games than any person should have to endure. How she did it and remained sane, we may never know. Thanks for all your help Grandma! We love you.

Newest member of the family...
Here are some pictures of the newest member of our family. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 15 oz. and was 21.5 inches long.
His brothers are adjusting well to a new baby. C loves to go get the baby's diapers and they both like to pat his head and say "It's okay" whenever he cries.
Mommy and Daddy are adjusting well too. If only I could stop calling him by the wrong name...
