I'm soooooo in love with the song in Da Chang Jin. Not the main theme song...heh!
Its the classical song that comes up whenever there's a sad scene. Aww loved it so much.
Its really hard to find the original one sang in some western language(ya i dunno which one hahaa) without any name.
I found a few other versions before stumpling upon the original one.
Other versions were... in cantonese by some male singer, chinese version sang by Kelly Chen and a spoof version sang by a cute baby voice which i put on my blog. heee~
My dad bought the DVDs. And i couldnt wait but watch finish it! Heh heh...
Its now stuck with my bro... then back to my dad who didnt catch the show until soo much later.
My boss never made it to the dinner at the restaurant... thats a huge relief. Hahaa.. But next week i'm gonna have to work with him as my friend is going on leave. So he's taking over as the chef.
waaaa! only two weeks left for holidays! ahhh! LoL.

Yup. Yes. Miss couch potato loves her favourite beach chair where she sits in a semi-supine position watching TV (DA CHANG JIN & world cup!!!) and reading tragedy books. LoL.
Work has been more demanding lately. With me taking up lunch time slots in place of another employee on leave for two days. Lunch time slots spelt disaster for me. Why? Because i've never done lunch time before. And I was TOXIC on the first day!! Darn it. Even Don asked me whether I bathed in the morning, cos i brought all the "bad luck" Hahaa. Great. I made tons of mistakes as usual.
Not knowing what Darjeeling was, I looked quizzically at the customer who told me it was a tea. Oops. How embarrassing.
And tomorrow night, boss will be bringing his friends over for a meal. Darn! I'm screwed. Hahaa.
And Don was telling me how "lucky" i was this week. Thanks man! ha~~~~
And yesterday, I went out with wendy to check out the prices of food for her bday bbq. We also went shopping around for von's pressie.
Then we went to check out the prices for massage that wendy wanted. We weren't planning to do it that day. But somehow we were lured into it. Haha!
We both did a 30mins shoulder, neck and foot massage for 22bucks.
And adding to the many embarrassments this week....... It was my first foot massage. The woman said its gonna be women who will do it for us. Wendy got a aunty. And i had a guy(in his late twenties) massaging my feet! ANd it was damn itchy!! I couldn't help but laugh. The guy also laughed with me. No, actually, he was laughing at me. Then through out the whole process, he was studying my face which made me feel uncomfortable that i kept looking up at the ceiling. And he knew which spots which got me fidgeting and itchy. So when he does those spots he'll start looking at me and smiling evilish as i tried to hold my laughter. Then when i just started laughing away, he said with a grin, "going to burst soon liao hor". Hah~ Even wendy was laughing at me. Hmph. The aunty didn't study wendy's face as much as the guy does to me. Arrggh. Next time i shall request for a female one.
But well, the massage was good tho. The shoulder and neck one was painful but really relaxing.
Wendy and I had a great night's sleep after that. =)
Digressing...as i usually do.
Got this in an email.. reminded me about the things i heard from cyn when we were talking about travelling and hotels. So believe it or not... the decision is all yours.
OK, here's some news from my friend who works in hotels for20years:Every single hotel, there shall be at least a permanent room whichshould be left vacant at all times. No matter how full the hotel is,they are not to sell that room(s) to any guest. It is said that the specialroom was "reserved" for those "special visitors". So, if you plan to stay in some hotel, always book in advance. Try toavoid walk in. If the receptionist told you there's no more roomavailable, do not insist one anymore or try to bribe them to give you a room. If you do that, most of the time the room you have will be that"special room". Sometimes those "special visitors" might go to other rooms also, so here's some tips on how to protect yourself: Before entering your room, always knock on the door first, even youknow the room is vacant. After you enter the room, if you feel very cold suddenly and have"chicken spores", leave the room quietly immediately and go to receptionto request to change room. Most of the time the receptionist will understand what's happening. After you enter the room, immediately switch on all of the lights, and open the curtain to let the sun light in.Before you go to bed, arrange your shoes so that one of them is upsidedown. Some say this is representing yin & yang to protect you while you're asleep.Always leave at least a lamp on while you're sleeping, preferably thetoilet's lamp.If you're staying alone and they have given you a twin bed, do not sleep with the other bed vacant, try to put your things like luggage onthe other bed before you sleep. Please pass this info to those who travel.

Holidays.
Loved it.
Love staying at home and being a couch potato. Don't be surprised to see a walking life-size potato on the streets. If you see it, say Hi. Thats me. =)
I'm even too lazy to blog these days. Oh..and going online too.
Got a part time job recently. Working on fridays and saturdays. The pay is good and the place is nice and cosy. I like it. Its a little more high class than the previous place that i worked in. So that means I can't wear tees and jeans like I used to. Have to be smart casual (still can wear jeans tho'). Its a french style'd place... selling of course, mostly french-kind-of-food. The menu is filled with french words which looks oh-so-intimidating. But the worse had be the wines. There are so many different types and names and colours. And all in french. I literally had to match the spellings word for word on the list to the label on the bottle just to make sure that I didn't grab the wrong one. LoL.
And don't even get me going on the taste and reccommendation. I know nuts about it. Haha.
My first day was quite erm... jittery one. It happened to be the once a month buffet style theme. So it was fully booked. Most of the customers were caucasians but we had a table of japanese people. To be specific, americanised japs -can tell from their accent. They were wonderful customers I would say. Most of them were really very polite and nice. Some even asked me if I was new and how was the job doing...etc. And of course, I made tons of mistakes thanks to the wines. Was pretty nervous when I had to learn the names and types (which i've forgotten! Oops!). Agar-ation got me going. Hehee.
I still need alot of practice to get the hang of it 'cos everything I've learnt at Soul Kitchen was thrown back to Damien. LoL. At this place, there's so much things to know and learn about French food and wine. Which is really good as a breakaway from learning radiography stuffs. Heh~
Oh.. needless to say, boss is a french too. Didn't talk to him much cos he's always busy but he seems nice tho'.
Went out with sab on friday to chinatown after handling up our reports. We looked around for cheap massages/facial/spa stuffs. And wendy.... no such cheap price like quoted; "20plus for body massage/hr". Probably those sleazy massage parlours will have it. Heh Heh~
The cheapest ard has to be 40bucks per hour. And they have other shorter timings too if you are on budget. Think the most eye-catching for me is the foot massage. Think its about 20bucks/hr or something. That'll be heaven especially after attachment. We saw some dirt cheap facials too.
I want to go gai gai~
Michelle is down with second dose of chicky pox! Probably a different strand of virus.
Poor her. =( Haven't seen her in a long while.
Anyways, till then. yawnzzz...
