This is how it all began... =)

Met up with Cyn and Chun on thurs afternoon to check in...my mum drove us all in.
We couldn't find the front door and we kept trying to open the wrong doors with the front door keys! Hahaa...
Finally we got in and started to settle ourselves in. Cyn and me became Marias! And we started cleaning the floor upstairs using a rag. Ahhh...i love clean floors.
Not long after that...wendy arrived in her dad's taxi. The four of us slacked in a room and went for dinner at changi village. The Ipoh Hor Fun is goood! And yesss... the nasi lemak also..cyn has been raving about it ever since we arrived. Haha...

After dinner we went back and watched TV. From a distance...we suddenly heard priscilla and fiona's signature high pitch voices. Haha...
They arrive with joycelyn and the house was suddenly filled with "noises"...muahaha..

Then...we went upstairs and played card games and childhood games till very early friday morning. They planned a sabo for me... yup... an unforgettable one...

Friday late morning... we had a delicious brunch made by our chef chun meng and of cos some of us also got help out lar...
We continue to play card games and watch TV until it was time to prepare the food stuffs.
Pauline arrived first and i got a bday kiss from her hehee...wendy was sooo jealous...



Then sabrina came with my cake! Mmmm... Tiramisu from Secret Recipe...

Well.. after that we had a wonderful childhood and card game session... where cockroach taught ppl the cheater bug way of hitting ppl in the game of Heart Attack. And guess who actually followed his teachings? Haaa...
Yimin suffered a big bruise on her leg during the game...poor dear...

Then, we all went and played with mini firework sparklers...and blowing bubbles... most of the nice shots are in joycelyn's cam so have to get frm her...

My jc mates, bbw sistas and xuehou left for home... the rest of us stayed overnight and played games until 4plus am...
Ziyang drank like 13cups of water for making mistakes during a childhood game...hahaa..poor thing...

Overall.. it was a really fun event! Very xin fu me! heeee... =)

I have to say this... Charlyn frm T*SH is a damn nice radiographer!!!!!
Shes soooo sweet and nice!!!!! hahaaa..
Okok... u may think im exaggerating.. but shes very Xi Xin lor..
She help me wear lead gown when i was asked to be "cheveron"(spelling?). Then when cannot find thyroid shield...i said its ok lar.. only for a short while... but she went and digged one out and helped me put on. Damn Xi Xin lor.. its not as if i cant wear the lead gown by myself..
Then today when i went back to ask her to sign report for me... she automatically just went and help me find a senior radiographer to counter sign. Wa seh... Me and sab told her no need we can go find by ourselves.. but she took the papers and walked to one end of the room to approach one senior to sign. So niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee of her!!

Hahaaa... ok lar.. u all may think its nothing lar.. but i havent met a radiographer who's THAT nice to me lor. I mean...in general almost all of them are nice lar.. but she went further than just being nice...yah..if u get what i mean lar. Ya...and the other radiographer i must mention is Bernard... another super nice one. Felt guilty doing so many competencies under him.
Anyways.. im glad its over! Holidays!! Yay!

Today went swimming with Min for a short while..then it rained.
Anyways, we had a wonderful lunch/dinner together... yummmy poh piah!!!
Min say the poh piah very very nice. So next time must bring tohko and D.E.B to eat cos they have mentioned it since last semester...hahaaa..
And ya... today should be a special day for min.. heheeeeee..u know what i mean lar.. wahahaa..

Had a wonderful stay at T*SH. Its like a big family over there.
Had a misunderstanding with V on the last day... he's what chun say a cock up guy. haha..

Today went back with cyn, chun and pris to get reports signed.
Saw shaggy hair and he offered his labcoat to us so that he can get us to do two cases there.. wahaha.. and no.. we didnt accept tat offer ;p
Tmr going back there again to get another radiographer to sign for me..
And going swimming with Min...

Ordered the food liao... about hundred bucks gone le..but still got other foodstuffs need to buy on the day itself.

Yawn... need to sleep... havent pay back the sleep debt.

Had a wonderful day shopping with cyn =)
We were supposed to just go TFS's newly opened shop at marina and get the free goodie bag.. but... in the end... we trailed off again! hahhaa
Ya we both bought a nail polish each and later realise that the goodie bag got nail polish of another colour! plus a mask and a sample of the pore reducing thingy.

We shopped ard.. and she bought two pretty tops and i bought my first boho skirt! I'm lovin' it! hahaha...
Cyn brought me to try The Soup Spoon... Mmmm.. the clam chowder very very nice!! yummy!

Later in the evening, I went to work.. Damien and Irwan thought there was something wrong with me.. they kept asking me why im behaving weirdly?? I have no freaking idea what they are talking abt?!?!? I think its a conspiracy to confuse me. hahahhaa... shoo!...always like to disturb me one...
Got the highest amt of tips to date... $15... ok ya... it aint much to other ppl.. but hey.. its my first waitressing job and i know i suck at it.. hahahaa... so its alot given to someone who aint really good at waitressing.. heh~
But.. the $$ doesnt go to me lar.. goes into the tip box..and i dun get any.. (im not complaining... im being paid at a good rate =) )

Didnt have time to blog abt my bday till now..
Spent the whole evening with Michelle and shes ever so generous with me.
My cousin treated me to a jap restaurant buffet dinner which costs 35bucks per person!
And NYDC dessert.. yummy cheese cake with berry ice cream! Mmmm..*slurps*
plus a pair of very feminine earrings which my cousin say its SOOOOO ME. *Ponders hard*
Nah...since when was I ever THAT feminine? heh heh heh~
Nonetheless, i love her pressies! Just wish that she wouldnt spent so much on me..(yup..she even wanna get me a pair of :XODUS shoes which i declined). She's studying and working part time so it aint easy.
Really appreciated everything she has done for my bday... including turning down *someone* just to be free on that day to celebrate with me =) heh~ can't say much abt that *someone* cos i promised her to keep it to myself hehee~

Received a number of bday wishes too.. thanks ppl =) Its nice to know that ppl still remember and bothered to wish me *hugz ppl*

Anyways, back to talking abt attachment..

He's sooo funny lor.. and he loves to disturb DD and Jess using a balloon and kept hitting their heads.
Anyways... i feel quite bad.. i did a number of competencies under Bern***! He's gonna die reading all the reports! Ya so i stopped myself from doing competencies when he's ard.
MF was ok leh... at times he seems a little cranky but he does come ard and joke..quite funny at times. haha...

Today, cyn and me were supposed to go cold storage to buy some groceries after work... and.. gosh.. i think we make quite a lethal shopping pair. We trailed off again and started shopping! Second time like this liao.. hahaha.. She bought two tops and i got a skirt. Heh...

Life's a long long journey. This song perfectly describes how I feel in the whole year of transition from 20 to 21yrs old. Drama year I would say. heh~

Cyn and me cheong like nobody's biz at T*SH.
I didn't managed to do any competency last 2weeks. So the remaining 2weeks must cheong liao...plus the fact that I had a competency left from the previous block haunting me. haha..

Was lucky enough to be posted to OP. And managed to see our much-missed Uncle Than!! He's still the same. All smiles for us. Dunno why we missed him soooo much. I think when we leave at the end of this block, he'll still be one of the ones we'll miss. Such a fatherly nice figure who told us today(after we showed him the LONG LIST of stuffs we had to get for competencies):"Don't worry, We'll help you with that =)" Ya.. in his sincere tone he said that.
So nice. Hard to get really nice ppl like him. And yes, that includes Bern*rd. He let us do and he taught us alot too.

Heh~ Ok.. ya.. T*SH is one of the places i like ever since i went there for my very first block of attachment.

Don't you realise that its the PEOPLE in that particular place that makes the greatest influence in determining whether you'll be happy staying there or not...

The one week stay at Mt * hospital was quite pleasant. Although its not that easy to do competencies there as there's no radiographer assigned to a particular room. They all move ard. So, its like one moment we are working with this person and then the next moment its another one. And of cos, each of them have different styles and requirements so its not quite that easy.
But generally, the ppl there are very nice.

I'll like to mention that the staff nurse, BL, radiography asst, P, and radiographers like M, K, C and X(cos i forgot her initials! haha) are super super nice! A bunch of very warm and friendly ppl who taught us alot and let us do the cases(in other words, full trust ;) ). Not that the rest aint nice lar.. just that these ppl stood out amongst all of them...

On our last day, we saw a mother and her 6mth old baby waiting for ultrasound. P, in his usual super friendly way, approached them and carried the baby. The mother was a very nice lady. And i got to carry the baby too. Gosh.. the baby damn cute!!! Very guai also leh...not afraid of strangers. He laughs everytime i made a funny face. And his smile damn cuteeeeee with two dimples!!(just like his mum) He's just such a happy baby. He even "danced" on his mother's lap while P was singing a song to him. Babies with dimples are damn cute.

Speaking of babies, P brought charlene and me to the neonatal wards. The babies are cute as usual heh~ and we entered the ICU for the babies. Alot of them are premature and they look so tiny and fragile. From afar, we could see thru' the glass doors that separates the ICU and the critical care unit. There was a baby struggling to live and the doctors and nurses were trying to save him. A very sad scene.

As for the food, its very cheap as usual. Haha.. $1.50. And the portion is quite filling. They have 8 different weekly menus and each day is different and furthermore, got 2 choices to choose from each day. The food not bad lar.. depends on the cook and menu. I'd say, pretty good for the price.

Irwan just lent me 4DVDs to watch... wahaha... what a good way to spend my weekends besides sleeping. heh~

I just want to sleep. Urgh. SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP.
I'm worser than charlene's sleepy illness. Really. She has to nudge me not to sleep at times. HAhahaha..

Have to apologise to my grp ppl for MIA on sat. For the first time..in a long long time, i couldn't even hear my alarm clock plus my hp's alarm AT ALL. Thats literally sleeping like a log(or if u like, a pig). Its a huge hint that i should start taking care and slow things down. I'm severely sleep-deprived. heh~
Especially on fri and sat, ppl have been telling me the same thing, "You looked so shagged/tired." Even tho' i tried to "look" awake for work. hahaha.. i guess i cannot pretend to be Not-tired.

Anyways, the 1 week stay at the polyclinic was generally pleasant. =) I would'nt mind going back there again cos the ppl there are very nice. But can get really very busy...


some ppl have been asking me what i want for my bday...
shall make a short list bah... cos some really have no idea on what to get for me..shall spare ya all the headache =p

1) Sports watch - waterproof, easy to read time(i.e: no small tiny screens! im cork eyed remember! LOL)..

2) Running shoes - remember the flap thingy? i've been glueing it back.. haha okok..ppl have been nagging me to get a new pair..so ok lar.. u guys help me hehee~

3) Birthday cake - 21st bday cannot do w/o a nice cake right? haha no need to feed everyone.. just feed me can liao.. wahaha... cos i noe it'll be very ex to buy a big one to feed everyone

4) Written stuffs - This is the one that i wanted most!! Write to me! postcards, letters, scrapbook, with pictures, stickers or whatsoever! I love reading and keeping this kinds of stuffs. It'll make my day... don't worry, u dont have to be very good at art or have great handwriting or powderful command of english. =)

5) just make it for my chalet celebration it'll be more than enuff =) . This applies to those that i've invited tho' hehee~

6) and lastly, if u really cannot to get anything of the above.. just get whatever girly stuffs u think would be suitable for me... its easy.. there are tons of girls stuffs in this world to buy as gifts =)
