Went Kbox with elaine. No voice on that day cos I didnt get enough sleep. Poor elaine...wahahaha...have to tolerate my hair-raising singing heh~
But we had a good time and lunch tasted good...Mmm.. had salmon =)
Total bill came up to about $8 per person 'cos the timeslot was 11am-1.30pm.
Pretty cheap I would say...cos it comes with a meal & drink.
Then we went walk walk...shopped a abit.

Heee~ Went out with elaine again... This time was to watch Starwars Episode 3. Its damn good! Too bad that George Lucas(the director of Starwars movie series) was planning to stop producing the series. Heard this from my bro who read about it somewhere. Am disappointed...I was looking forward to catching the next one. Oh well...

Stayed at home to do some chores here and there. Dad was strangely more noisier than usual these days. Hahaha... I think he's bored. Heh~ Nobody entertained him then he came and disturb me. He made our signature laughter(a.k.a our greetings to each other) more often than usual and at times he sang very SHORT songs which included my nick. Hahahaz...that happens when I'm stuck alone with him at home 'cos he works different timing from my mum and bro.

Wanted to join samuel and elaine for a night movie on friday...but didnt go in the end.

Was planning to go sentosa with elaine and jieli but later on changed plans 'cos sentosa abit boring haha...
In the end went shopping again. 'Cos they want to buy clothes esp now that GSS started. So me just tagged along. In the end, only jieli bought something - a green top.
Walked around until shops close liao...then they don't want to go home so early so we hanged out at Cafe Cartel until almost 12am. The ice-blended coffee there are very nice! heee~ although it would be much better if I can have my pure vanilla ice blended...am not much of a coffee drinker anyways.

Am planning to meetup with jieli again.... accompany her to look for/buy clothes. Yes...you didn't read wrongly... shopping AGAIN. LOL... That's what best friends are for. We help each other out. It gets really boring at times...but in the company of a good 'ol friend, who will complain? heh~ =p

Next week is kena packed too....argh. Seems like the holidays are not enough!! I havent been able to meetup with my friend(mich k) since i started sch this year! And I want to visit my granny too. My mum say she misses us lots and has been asking for us to visit her. Missed her lots... =( I think I'll have to arrange with michelle jiejie and go together.

Monday....
Went out with NUH's ex-triage friends... jaime and joyce. Its been so long since we last met... i think since Dec'04. They are still as hyper as before. hahaa... we talked and talked until Thai Express close shop... then went downstairs sit on the stone chairs with a table and continue. We chatted until 11plus pm then went home to catch the last train/bus. Jaime is so cheeky...hahaa... both joyce and I cannot stand her rubbish...hahaa... but it was really fun. =)

Tuesday...
Supposed to meetup with jieli and elaine to go PS but in the end cannot make it. Was procastinating...(hah...yeah I know its a very bad habit to have...heheee) didnt pack my stuffs for the chalet until the very last min. Urgh...

Wednesday & Thursday...
BBQ with Grp 2 ppl and chalet stayover with Evil Clan. We met up early and checked into the chalet at around 3plus. Then we slacked abit inside the room and started preparing the food and stuffs for the BBQ when mojo jojo came.
And thanks to Chun Meng, we managed to have very nice sambal stingrays!!!! Yummmyy..... He prepared the stingrays in our chalet toilet...hahahaa.....the ppl who came for the BBQ dunno abt it..heh heh heh. Oh...except for Von and WL....Von's eyes almost popped out when she found out LOL... But its clean hor...
Our toilet sink reeked of fishy stingray smell... even after hours.... imagine we had to wash up there... haha....
We took tons of crazy photos... really kee siao ones... everytime I see those pics I wanna laugh hahaa... We really had a great time.
Evil clan talked and played around with girly stuffs until ard 3~4am....then we decided to lie on the bed and talk.... Evil toe was the first to be knocked out followed by DramaQueen, Tako and Tohko. Dr.E.bear and I stayed awake thru'out the night and talked abt alot of things until ard 7plus~8am... then we fell asleep until 920am. We washed up and woke the rest of them up cos we have to check out by 1030am. Before we left the room, we took two last pics cos Evil Toe want to finish her roll of film so tat she can develop it.
After that we went to McDonalds for breakfast!!! The hotcakes tasted especially good that morning.... probably because I was very very hungry hahaa... my stomach growled since 4am!!
After that we all went home.... I had a short nap of 2hours then didn't sleep until late into the next morning.

Friday...
Am soooo tired... so I "nua" at home for the whole day... Was talking to friends on MSN until 345am then go sleep....just happened tat some of my frens are having some problems...so I stayed up and talked with them to make sure that they're ok before I went off.

Saturday...
Met up with Evil Toe!! Heh heh.... we had a great time shopping at orchard!! Hahaa...
Evil Toe tried a top and I tried a skirt at OP....her top fits but tooo short!! haiz...My skirt was too big cos I asked for XL hahaz...anyways I didnt quite like the skirt that much so we both left w/o buying anything.
She bought a Topshop top for $19 only!! And its very nice!!! Haha... We both went to try it....too bad I couldn't get it cos I was in-between two sizes that was available...it was either too big or too short for me. Heh... nvr mind. 'Cos later I found a mango top for $25... =)

The search for makeup with her was really fun...hahaa... I must say something here which Evil Toe would agree with me...most of those ppl working behind those major cosmetic counters don't really know their stuffs that well. The things that they chose for Evil Toe looked weird and they kept insisting that its like that...etc. And the way they apply makeup on customers also....weird weird one....they like to put too much or too uneven. Like that how to sell their products?? But hor... most of them looked nice when it comes to their OWN makeup. Maybe they only good at applying on their own faces... hahaaa... =p

Oh.....and we met up with ChunMeng and his friend...they wanted to tag along and shop with us girls cos they were really bored....hahaa.. Then we all had dinner and had a nice crappy talking session where ChunMeng's friend told us really stupid but funny stories abt his ship patrolling experience.

Had a long talk with Evil Toe at the mrt again.... haha... dunno why we always talked alot at mrt.... heh~ next time must sit down at some decent place le~

So... I went down today as a volunteer for the Vesak Day celebration at Orchard. Its actually a two day event(14th & 15th May) but I couldn't make it on saturday due to the student conference thingy.
Anyways! I enjoyed myself SOOOOO MUCH today!!!!! Its a really lively, fun, and a well organised event! I wish I had been there on saturday too. Oh well...at least I had been a part of it. =D

I went down to Ngee Ann City, Civic Plaza at around 9am to report for my volunteer work.

Briefing and stuffs took about 30mins. Turns out that I don't have to be a walking human advertisement. Haha... They had assigned it all to the YBC ppl.
Then attended the morning meditation session for 2hrs...guided by 3 different Venerables. Made me feel so much better 'cos I was upset over something this morning.
After that, we had lunch...which was vegetarian mee hoon...which...erm... was... kinda pathetic looking. hahaha... I ate half of it and I couldn't force myself to eat that "stuff" anymore so I threw it away. (ya...i know i shouldnt waste food esp on such religious day...but..but...the taste was.......SIGHZ.... LOL...)
Started right to work straight after lunch.

Got my arm painted too before I set out to stand under the hot sun inviting ppl to join in the celebrations and handling out postcards to youths who maybe interested in our tertiary sch's CCA.
Along the way, the YBC walking advertisements came...along with the loud noises of the drumming of the trash cans... all of us volunteers around the Civic plaza cheered for them. It was a moment where we showed the public how united we were.



There was supposed to be the walking advertisement team(with loads of balloons) standing on the opposite side road doing kallang wave...haha... but my lousy phone cam didnt quite show it. And then a moment later, there was a traffic jam on the road and the team made use of that to attract the attention of the drivers and passengers.

And students from Lee Wei Song sch of Music - the first one was a girl group...sang not bad... the 2nd one is a boy group..aiyoh..dunno what to say sia... the voices are nice BUT, they seem distracted and one of them even wrote the lyrics on his hand and was refering to it during the performance! But the last song that the whole bunch of them sang together was fantabulous! Loved the hamony of voices.

And the drumming of the trash cans by the YBC ppl was the last program. It was another great show put up by them.

Project Infinity (Public Wish-making project)
Where the public were invited to write down their wishes on a coloured paper and put them into the colour specific "hollow tubes" which had fan to blow the papers up.



After making a wish, you'll get a cute flower with a tag that says(in both chinese and english): Plant the seeds of LOVE and COMPASSION. Lets make this world a better place. =)


We tied it around our fingers and walked ard feeling so girly. Haha..(no lar...the second part was just a joke....heh~)


There was a huge statue of Buddha for ppl to offer their respects....


And...beside the statue... was a mini statue of Buddha and there's a button where you can press to "cleanse" it with water. Just like this....


A pagoda sort of structure where ppl can turn the "bells" as they walk around it for luck and blessings.

Lately, things haven't been looking too well. Seems like alot of things are troubling ppl.
Are human relationships such a pain to maintain? Then why do we subject ourselves to such a thing? Desires over rational thinking? Maybe so.
Recently, I've seen and probably experienced situations which set me thinking of the above.
Sometimes I just don't know how to deal with it. Sometimes, I just don't know who I can fully trust. Its a confusing cycle. At times, you think that you can trust and believe in a certain person. Other times, doubts sets in and you really wish you hadn't put in so much.

Its hard to decipher the complex inner thoughts of a human. Sometimes we act upon desires and at other times, we act through rational thoughts. When will we truly know a person to give them our trust(and not regret it)? I wish I knew the answer. I guess nobody can actually know.

Well well well... why am I suddenly so chim like tat? hahaa... I just wanna blog out my confused thoughts so that they'll stop bothering me. hee~ I am really confused by contradicting behaviours of ppl. They seem like this, yet they also seem to be like tat. Stark contrast in ppl's behaviours always scares me in a way. Its like... one moment, they could be the nice person that you used to know. The next moment, they could be anything else but nice. And it always happens in this way where you're caught off-guarded and the other party also did not purposely want you to find out. The next thing you know, you are probably wondering if all that you've observed of the person and conversations with him/her are just a facade.
Yet, through further interactions with that person, you find that your initial opinion still stands true. What would you chose to do? 1) continue to trust? or 2) be guarded?

Ok... I know I'm confusing you all also...hahahahaz... never mind. I'll move on to other topics...


Today's student conference thingy was....hmmm.. both boring and interesting. Some projects were really good and some were down right boring - probably cos we dun understand also hahaa...
I think the highlight of the event was the break and refreshments. heehee... dr.e.bear, tohko, evil toe and mojo all very excited abt the food. The otah was nice! but kinda spicy for me. I guess I really never eat spicy for too long le 'cos the rest say not spicy leh. Kenneth and Marvin both trying to "bio" girls. They "scanned" through the theatre and managed to find one chio bu with (yes.. even I have to agree) great figure. We all dared Kenneth to talk to her but he paiseh lar... haha...
After the event, evil toe, dr.e.bear and me went novena to eat lunch at Fish & Co! Yummmmyy! hahaz... The calamari and the fish was very niceee!! Shit le...evil toe got me hooked! :p
But I ate quite little today. Really no appetite 'cos I didnt get any sleep last night - insomiac!. Lunch was at ard 2pm and up till now...10pm... I havent eaten anything since. I took a 3hr nap which didn't help my appetite although I'm feeling quite fresh. I think i'll go grab something and force it down... hahahaz...

Yup! Tmr i'll be down at orchard... Evil clan ppl... I'll never tell you all exactly where I am! LOL... Try finding me.. heh~ heh~ *evil grinz*

Cyn called me today asking me about the module results. Supposely our A & P module result was out since monday and all the EC members checked theirs already. I don't know what happened... but apparently, the A & P results disappeared??!! Cyn couldnt find hers and me too! But I saw it on monday lehz... Dunno what the sch doing...

And today ah... i think i break record le~ I drank and refilled my bottle(550ml) several times. I think i drank like 3litres of water! Siao le... haha... but water is good. =p

Tmr gonna have dinner with my sec sch frenz... =)

Been going out almost everyday... am sooo looking forward to sleeping till noon tmr. Hah~

Yesterday's shopping trip with evil clan went well. But i had to leave early to meet a friend... I didnt buy anything...tohko, Dr Ebear and sab bought something each. Tako spotted a very nice top and wanted to buy it but it was the last piece and it had defects on it. Haiz too bad. That top would look so sweet on her. We spotted alot of Cyn's style of clothes esp skirts! haha...next time must bring her over liao. Speaking of which, she should be back from Thailand! Evil clan Missed you Cyn! =)

Met up with Michelle today!!! Missed her sooo much!!! We were supposed to spend the whole day together but she had a last min meeting with a couple so we only spent 2hrs together. But nonetheless, I cherished every moment. Gave her her belated birthday pressie and she hugged me straight in the restaurant! Hahaz... I think the ppl ard us must be thinking that we are lesbians. Am glad that she liked the pressie. =)
We had a good old girly talk and I'm glad shes there for me. Am feeling a little down and moody these days(which i try to hide frm friends) due to some problems. I hope I didn't say anything that hurt anyone of you...if so, pls accept my apologies. Am feeling better already =) I don't know what I'll do w/o my michelle jiejie. Shes my angel sent frm above. Thank heaven for such a precious gift.

Off to watch tv!

And today went cycling with a friend. My butt pain haha... Not much ppl at ECP on a weekday(usual) and we only saw two bikini "babes" hahaha... My friend so sad cannot get to see "ppl"
:p haha... j/k lar... Then metup with my friend's brother. Wa...he REALLLY looked like my primary sch classmate leh! Its almost like an exact replica lor. I was thinking of asking which primary sch he came from but judging from his age, I don't think its him lar.
Now left the sister i havent meet yet. Haha..Yimin, if you're reading this... =P

Gonna be a human walking advertisement(with plank cards hanging on me) this sunday at orchard for Vesak day celebration. Am a volunteer for it since I'm in the CCA. Shall try to camouflage myself with LOTS of face paint so to avoid ppl I know from recognising me. Wahaha...To all those who are reading this: DUN YOU DARE COME. LOL! j/k...

I finally found a pair of ladies sandals that I liked!
That is after walking 3 MRT stops (Dhoby Ghaut -> Somerset -> Orchard -> Somerset) on saturday combing almost every shop selling shoes for one whole day.
And... today, combing the whole of Bugis. Haha... my legs must've hated me to the core.
But I'm happy =) hahaz... Cheap thrills of a girl. Heh~

Accompanied my friend for a job interview today. Since i'm already there i signed up as well.

After that went for a long winded boring talk...i wanted to fall asleep. Then the speaker kept ji siao'ing me(in case u're wondering, there were only four ppl as audience). He asked if i drink(alcohol), I said very seldom.*he appeared surprised* Then he asked if i've been clubbing before, I said Never. *He looked shock* I asked him why? He said,:"Oh... you have those "party girl" look." Geeez... This is the first time anyone has said that to me. Hahaha.. i think ppl who know me will laugh in disbelief if they hear this.

And I'm happy today... hehee... Just found out that I can fit into GiorXXXX ladies pants. I've always thought that they don't have my size. But today, I saw 30% off all bottoms so I, "thick-skinly" go and ask for the largest possible ladies pants size they have. As I head for the fitting room, I was hoping that it can at least fit thru' my thunder thighs. But guess what? It was too big for me. Hah~ I bet if you were there, you could hear an evil smirk coming from one of the fitting rooms. hahaha...Yup...so I bought it. But had to alter it shorter due to a fault in my genes that caused me not to have model kind of long legs. Unfortunately, not having that particular gene wasn't the worse part. The worst part was having a quite good-looking guy measure my short legs up and down. Urgh. LOL...
I like the versatility of the pants - can be worned as full length or 3/4 pants or like bermudas. There's even an adjustable belt-like thingy at each side of the waistband for people like me who are similar to the works of a balloon(can expand and shrink easily). Anyways, the real reason I bought it was 'cos I'm running low on pants. Of all times, things chose to break down all together. My only pair of slippers decided to "OPEN MOUTH"???... you know when the sole of your shoes and the bottom part start separating from each other, it resembles an aligator with its mouth opened. heh~ How "imaginative" I am.

Went swimming with wendy, joycelyn and fiona... Got darker again even tho' I actually didnt do much tanning...mainly swam. Think the sun is kinda strong lately or my skin suddenly decided to start to manufacture melanin. Hah~

Fiona and me thinks the tom yam soup not nice! Dunno why wendy likes it...
Still like my nasi briyani... haha... then for dinner also eat chicken again.
Am going to do a counting...of what my daddy bought...(think he's really trying to feed me and my bro...haha)

And my dad bought 2 one litre carton of HL milk for me. He say he never see me drink milk at all for the whole of last school semester. Wa lau... now want me to drink 2 litres...siao ah.. =P hahaha... shall spread it out during the holidays...slowly drink... moo~ moo~ moo~

It was alright.. nothing much actually.
I think our batch only 5 of us went. haha.. so sad.
But there were a number of ppl from our senior batch so it wasnt that bad.
There were two games...and we all were split into two groups. In the end, evil clan lost. hahaha...how to win when we're up against our seniors?? hah... anyways we all had fun. =)
Now everyone will remember my "Matrix" act..hahaha... :p

At anchorpoint, we all were tempted by Hagen Daz...haha..all stand inside the shop for very long... in the end we all decided to go drink slurpee and eat mash potato at 7-11. Hah~ poor students we are.

Last of all, before I end this entry, I shall pray for my friend and his injured friend(who were involved in an bike accident) again. Hope they both have a speedy recovery. =)
