leap day/year! ive never really taken a notice on it and i was thinking how many leap years ive lived through. 3 or 4? i dont know lah. it pisses me off whenvever i need to think, my brain shuts off. i fear for old age, i'd most probably get the disease that starts with A, which i cant spell. hah

so yesterday was spent at Mind Cafe with khrisha & wan tou. pretty fun, though we played quite few games. either that or time past fast, cos we were there for almost 4 hours. and i played Cluedo for the first time in my life. pretty fun, but needs abit of thinking (...) hahaha. oh and not to mention the smelly cards. wan tou couldnt stand them but i think they smell okay. not that smelly, in my opinion, they smelt like new library books. played taboo, three in crime or smth and monopoly. monopoly's actually pretty dry and if we were to play till someone goes bankrupt, i think we'll still be there right now.

parted ways and i went hougang mall. it felt like ages since ive last been there. nothing's changed, just that level 5's finish renovation and all. and there's munchy's donuts. hoho. so i wanted to walk home. yes, you heard/seen it right. but it started drizzling and then pouring so i gave up the idea. (thank god. hah) took 325 and it went past all the places that i was familiar with. pretty nice. (:

today

woke up at arnd 8am, for NOTHING. i just woke up and couldnt go back to sleep after that. so pissed. slacked arnd and finished reading my last library book before heading to amk to job hunt. then it was somerset. walked arnd. and by then, my feet was splitting into pieces. tsktsk. i was dumb to wear heels. wore them cos they havent been worn in a long time and i want to tower over (most) pple. hah. so i was tempted to call home and asked my sister to bring me flip flops but i reckon she wouldnt so i didnt.

then my aunt and sister came arnd 1830 for dinner. went swenson's. though the service was pretty good but i dont think i'd be patronizing anytime soon cos the food, which is the main concern isnt really to my taste. but the ice cream are nice. (:

walked to ngee ann city and then wisma my feet were like numbed by then, okay, not really. just &#^$*$% painful. i refused to get another pair of flipflops so i endured endured and endured till i reached home. and here i am. using my hands instead my feet. whatever lah, moral of the story is, dont ever wear heels when you dont need the extra inches.

the next leap month/year would be 4 years later. would i still be blogging and what would i be doing by then? i wonder. but one thing's for sure, i'll be pretty old by then. hahaha.

today's ethan & kyan day!

woke up arnd 1130, and set off to his place arnd 1215. waited eons for the buses, pfft! so i was on 43, which was the first bus and while nearing serangoon, i was telling myself 158 (the second bus) better not right turn from the interchange right before my eyes. and viola! 158 appeared right before my eyes. i was like groaning inwardly lah. tsktsk. wanted to chase the bus after alighting from 43 but there wasnt even time. i know i know, i i dont normally chase after buses BUT 1) 158 takes eons to come. (i waited for almost 30mins before the next one) & 2) yours truly was hungry.

bought food to my gran's place and had lunch there while ethan had his nap. he woke up after an hour and kyan came as well! <33 shall let the pictures do the talking once again.















yeah. so i had dinner before going back home. not very eventful but seeing these darlings just make my day. oh well, ive been exclaiming since forever. just wait till you meet them yourselves. hah.

why does time seem to fly once the holidays start? ;x

so i woke up arnd 10am, i think ive lost the ability to sleep 10 hours straight. thats sad. switched on the tv and caught bits of Oscar 'live'. got bored, and decided to head down to the library. texted khrisha and we decided to go catch Juno.



great film, i like. 4 out of 5 stars (: full of humour but not to the extent of it being meaningless, if you know what i mean. i suck at doing film review, so go catch it!

went over to the library next, borrowed some books, went over to Mos Burger to satisfy my craving for potato (in the form of fries) and im contented once again.

so yeah, the much awaited 220208 arrived. but damn, i didnt feel especially happy/free. andandand, i was a wreck the whole of last week. dont ask me why, i have no idea either and it's not necessarily a bad thing. made me realized i actually do expect quite alot from myself. hah.

the papers were manageable. and however well/badly i'll do, i'll still wanna thank all those who've been helping me with the respective modules in some way or another. you guys should know who you are and a big big THANK YOU to Khrisha especially. (:

so we went to watch PS I Love You after the last paper yesterday. i think the book's much better, more detailed. and the movie's kinda draggy, but overall, it's good. 3 out of 5 stars? i like some of the songs and the sceneries. hahaha. oh and it didnt make me feel like crying. perhaps only at a couple of scenes. cos like i said, the movie's a tad too brief. so if you like the movie and havent read the book, do go and read it. (:

after being on a hiatus for so long ( close to 2 weeks?) i think ive lost the ability to blog. but whatever. it's blissful enough here, just sipping tea and having absolutely nothing to do. hoho. and i'll get to see ethaaan in a few hours time. :DD what a perfect start to the hols.

my blog's turning into ethan's. heh. and he's going to Bangkok on Valentine's Day. ive never even been there before. :0 okay, im high on sugar now. shall continue with (online) window shopping.

went to school just for attendance, skipped second half of effective writing for lunch cos i was starving, stoned and played DS Lite during Macroe lecture. despite endless grumplings, i still want to emphasize that im so screwed for BM 0008.

had a reunion at stanven's place and it poured. it always rains when we go over to his house. tsk. sat around watching and laughing at some ridiculously photoshopped pictures. they were effing funny, i swear.

watched The Victim and overall it was pretty good despite the fact that none of us got the story. lol. pizza came in the midst of the show and we were all starving and spooked from the horror. so all of us tumbled down to the basement together and the sight was hilarious. limin and char couldnt open their toilet door and thought we played a prank on them.

continued with the horror and had the cold pizzas :/ soooooo, that was basically it. watched 1/3 of My Sassy Girl before charmaine's parents fetched us home. (:

saturday was a wasted trip but well, it's alright lah. went over to Bishan to join Miaoning. had pastamania's potato salad (!!!) and Subway's cookies for dinner, pure bliss. so reached home arnd 2300 and watched tv.

4 days into CNY and the festive season hasnt had an impact on me. too bad, so sad. hah. it's been years since i looked forward to CNY. i think ever since secondary, it's all just a routine. greeting relatives, having them exclaiming over the same thing every year and some even asked me to eat more. i most certainly would, IF im proportionate. lol. but well, those questions dont bother me anymore. (:

i think very soon, they'll ask if i have a bf and why not? if i say i want to focus on studying, that'll either make me a nerd or that im just giving an excuse. if i say i dont know, that'll be even worse (!)
