This year for Spring Break we really needed a vacation. We came “this close” to going to Vegas for a couple of days to do the Excalibur thing but we decided our kids were still too little for all that - so I planned the Great Anderson Family “Staycation” - complete with posted itinerary. . .
I specifically asked Cameron to be excited and enthusiastic about it. He said he would enthusiastically check off our itinerary. This is half way through the week and he has done an enthusiastic job, don’t ya think.
Here are a few pix of our family adventure for your enjoyment.
The Museum of Ancient Life erosion table. . . water and sand.
“Miss Kitty’s Dance Hall” at Thanksgiving Point Farm. They also rode horses and got to milk a Jersey cow. They kept saying “I can’t believe I milked a cow! I can’t believe I milked a cow!”
One of our favorite restaurants is The Mayan Adventure in Sandy. After Thanksgiving Point we ate there and enjoyed the dive show. The food was super yummy as usual.
Waiting for our table.
waiting . . . .
Our view of the dive show. Not the best we’ve ever had but not too shabby.
But alas, Tomorrow we are off to Temple Square and the new Hannah Montana Movie. Hence, the Great Anderson Family “Staycation” is . . . TO BE CONTINUED . . .
