We went to Lynn & Debbie's house for a party on Saturday. Last summer Debbie had bought Lynn 50 bird boxes for her birthday and we all decorated them then they hung them up at their house. What a great idea!

We just watched the England-Jamaica game. I can't belive it was 6-0!! Amazing. Just hope they can do this next week too.
The Columbus Crew Stadium is going to host World Cup events for all the games so we can go there next Saturday and watch the Paraguay game.
If England win we will give Jack an England squad middle name!

First Bologna Sandwich

On a road trip this week we passed through Waldo - home of the famous Bologna sandwich. Aneta & Marcela (turf students from Poland and Chile) came with me.
We braved the G&R bar to eat one. It looked like red sausage & tasted like lard - yummy!

Buckeyes are Looking Good!

After a stadium field meeting today I watched the Buckeyes working out for a bit.

Troy Smith and Gonzales and Ginn and Wells (both) were all there. We can't wait for the football season to start - especially to watch them beat Texas!

Don't know how many games we can go to though. We'll probably have to watch it on telly with Jack.

2nd Shower at Work Today

I had a 2nd baby shower at work today. All of us ladies collected together and ate cake then I opened presents.
Got some lovely things. Lots of toys and clothes, a bath, Ohio State Buckeye gear, wind chimes, oh, and a voucher for a pedicure! So I can finally get my feet pampered (Craig won't touch them).
My belly is HUGE!

DaVinci Code was GREAT!

• We went to see The DaVinci Code on Friday & LOVED it. Are the critics bonkers???
• I did too much yesterday and felt washed-out. I think Jack has "dropped" too and is currently head-butting my pelvic bone (nice).
• I'm 33 weeks today! Next ultrasound on the 19th June when they'll decide if they are going to induce me or not...

Good Week for Sports

It's the Arsenal:Barcelona Champions League Final tomorrow but we are both working. Will have to see if I can listen to it at work on BBC Radio 5 Live.

We are both estatatic with Ricky Hatton's win at the weekend too. We were shouting that much I thought I might end up in the maternity ward, especially in the 12th round where we thought he'd lost it.

All we need now is for England to win the World Cup!!!!!!

What a Stunner!

Here's two pictures of Jack's face ~ taken today at the ultrasound. He's doing great & currently weighs 4.5 lbs.
Only about 6-8 weeks before the little fettler is here...

Look who swallowed a water melon...

A lot of friends and family have asked for a picture of my belly, so I am doing the honours.

Here's a picture Craig took of me today at 31 weeks. I can still fit into the maternity jeans that I love and am holding off on wearing unattractive elastic pants as long as possible!

I still feel great and love being preggers.

Giggly Fits

Craig and I had two nights of "birth class" this week. The class stuff was good but the floor stuff was highly ridiculous. They had us feel each others faces and I got that uncontrollable urge to burst out laughing. The nurse must have just hated me. All the time I was lying on the floor mat Jack was kicking me, like he was already taking the micky..

Baby Shower for Jack

Yesterday, Char & Jan threw us a baby shower for Jack.
We got a ton of presents (high chair, bedding, hampers, diaper genie, clothes, toys, carrier etc. etc.) and had a great time. There were lots of games, including a drinking game through a bottle - Craig managed a whole Miller Lite through a slow-flow nipple (oo, err missus).
Everyone wrote messages for Jack and they will be collated & bound into a book for him - very cute.
