Nostalgia upcycled

Last year a group from the 'SCRAP2D MAX' scrap camp started circle journals and this July we all got our journals back, completed.  My journal was 'The Bucket List'.  I made the the front and back covers and the first double page.       Here is my page and Kimberleys beautiful page    Shelley and Sarah H's pages     Fiona and Diana pages    Kaina and Sarah E's pages And last but not least Sarah C's page. A great challenge for everyone.  The journals were all so different and certainly got your creative mind working on how you were going to scrap a journal page for someone other than yourself.  Many thanks ladies for give me such a wonderful journal to treasure forever. 

A couple of months ago I joined other scrappers in a Smash book circle.  We each selected our Smash book title and over a couple of months each of us completed 2 x A5 size pages for each of other circle members.  As each person completed their batch of pages they sent them our co-ordinator.  When all the pages were received she collated into each persons batch and sent them off.  And I got mine today.  And yes I could not wait and as I had pre-made my cover,  I made the Book and here it is.       Here are the wonderful pages         Fantastic, I just love it.       

After Scrap Camp and being inspired by the Circle Journals completed by a group of ladies from Waipukurau,  A group of us have decided to start our own Circle journals.  Over the next couple of weeks each of us will decided on a theme and then make and prepare our journal for circulation around the group. We will each complete our journal cover and introduction page.  We will then scrapbook the first pages of the journal and then pass it on to the next person on the list. The owner of each journal will not see it again for another 10 months. Each member would have contributed to each persons journal, and the journals will be complete and ready to presented back to the owner at the next scrap camp (Jun 2012)  Here is the start of my journal and in a years time I will blog the completed journal.   Yep, my journal is our Bucket lists.  As the others complete their themes and initial preparation I will let you know.  Check out Fiona's blog ...
