Here we are in that rather strange time period - between Christmas and New Year. Hope you had lots of Christmas fun, and have you been to the sales? I haven't as yet - would rather wait till it all gets a little quieter really. We had a walk on the beach today - it was freeeeeezing - but bracing! Then because we had the dog with us we ate some lunch at a table outside - must be barking mad (lol)!
I thought I would have another one of those catch up sessions today where I share a bundle of makes with you that I have waiting in a folder, before we are in with the New Year and the start of a New Challenge for January, so here we go...
Still on the Christmas theme here Daniele has made a fabulous little mini album to celebrate a night out with her fellow workers. This is such a great idea, and lovely to view..
The stamp Daniele used on the front cover is CI-424 'Jolly Holly Robins'. She has decorated some tags with our Christmas stamps to pop in the tag pockets, and I am loving the use of another new stamp by Gio CI-426 embossed onto parchment and cut out I think.
I have another two makes by Daniele as well - not Christmassy this time - but ones that may help us think of warmer and sunnier days..
The two stamps making their appearances in these makes are CI-320 and CI-389 and I'm loving the stitching on these too.
Another sunnier days make is by Brenda, and the stamp used here is CI-347. I seem to remember that Brenda said she had used an acrylic stamping block to print the background colour on this card, which she combined with colour from Distress ink pads - nice idea Brenda!
Must give that a try soon!
Gio's turn is next and she has been busy with those lace stamps of hers herself...
And she has make lots of different things with them such as a card, earrings, a scrapbook layout and some rather lovely pouches. If you check out Gio's own blog just now you will see many more projects sporting CI stamps beautifully - just scroll down after clicking HERE.
Gio has also had a play with the latest tag stamps CI-427 and CI-428 and used them separately here....
Love the idea of covering notebooks (top two)!
I have made a card with one of these tag stamps, but I used it as a whole stamp - either way is fine - there are plenty of makes possible with these Elements tag stamps, they are extremely versatile...
I stamped the whole stamp twice - used the first stamping as the flat background, and used certain tags from the second stamping cut out and applied over the first with sticky fixers (I punched holes and added some twine too).
My final make to show you tonight is by Joanna, and is totally adorable! She was inspired to make it by a Graphic45 tutorial, and has completely transformed a humble dolly peg, with a little help from papers from our Springtime Background Book, and a butterfly from a Mini Image Book, into a ballerina - loving this....
Thanks for viewing, hope you have enjoyed the images?!
Before I sign out I am wondering if you have seen that we have added a new department on our website at www.craftyindividuals.co.uk, for the New Year to come? We thought we would add some of our own personal work for you to view bit by bit, and have started it all off with a series of 20 rather lovely photographic greeting cards by Malcolm - yay!
