Rosette

Hello everybody! How are you doing? I'm a bit tired, but fine otherwise. Do you have any plans for the weekend? I will try to do some crafting to get ahead of things again - fingers crossed I'll manage to do it. :)

Right now I have a couple of free minutes so I thought I would come here and share a rosette I made the other day. At first I thought about using this for another lollipop card, but then I changed my mind. Now I'm still deciding whether I should use it as a magnet or should I use it to decorate a flag banner. Decisions, decisions ...

I used one of the leftover stripes of paper that I've had in my stash for a long time - probably since I started crafting - to make a rosette. I knew I was saving it for a reason. lol In the back I used a doily and I decorated the rosette with some paper flowers from my stash and a piece of cheeseclots. Leaves are made with Cottage Cutz Leafy foliage die. Small white flowers and the small green flower were made with my craft punch. I stamped the little birdie on a piece of white cardstock and cut it out with my scissors. In the center of my rosette I used an oval chipboard piece and I used my border punch to make a lacey border.

If you want to see how to make this rosette and/or lollipop card, please check my video tutorial.

Have a great Friday and enjoy the weekend!
Hugs! xx

Lollipop card with tutorial

Hey hey! How's it going? Have you been enjoying the weekend so far? I did some baking and even managed to squeeze in some crafting time while my baby is sleeping. One of the things I made is this lollipop card that I am about to show you. And I also made a video tutorial for it. Scroll to the bottom of this post if you want to see it.

Here's the photo of the lollipop I made.

As you can see I didn't do any stamping on this project. Shocking, I know. lol I really like this "Love" word die from Whimsy designs and I wanted that to be in the center of attention. For decorating the lollipop I only used a piece of ribbon from Crafty ribbons and 2 silver heart shaped sequins from my stash.

And here's the video tutorial for this project. :)

Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day! :)

I used the adorable Santa and the sentiment stamp from the set. Doesn't this Santa look so happy, fun and cheerful? I just wanna give him a hug. I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils and I used liquid applique on the white parts of Santa's hat and dress.

The Greeting Farm July release - day 2

Good morning my crafty friends and welcome to the second day of The Greeting Farm previews. Today we are showcasing another adorable set. It's called "Let's mingle" and I absolutely love it. Why? Just wait til you see it and you'll know immediately why. ;)

I decided to transform another of those lunch bags into a gift bag.

Sooooo, what do you think? Aren't these mice just too cute? They bring a smile to my face each time I see them. :) Or some reason I had a Jingle bells song stuck in my head all the time I was making this bag and I could just imagine these mice dancing and singing along. Lol

For this bag I used some scraps of design paper from my stash. I did the colouring with Promarkers and pencils. I raised the images and the sentiment on foam pads for some extra dimension.

So much for today. See you again tomorrow. :)

TGF July release - day 1

Good morming my crafty friends. I hope everything is fine with you and that you had a lovely weekend. We went to the sea for two days last week and it was nice. I was a bit afraid how my baby girl will take the drive, but there were no problems. It was her first time abroad and first time at the sea. And the day after we got home we started giving her solid food for the first time. So this week has been full of "firsts" for Amadeja. :)

Speaking about the "firsts" ... Today is the first preview day of July release at The Greeting Farm. I'm sure you all heard the "Christmas in July" phrase before and I think this phrase describes the new release perfectly. We are starting the previews with Dashing stamp set.

These reindeers are adorable and fun. I had lots of fun playing with them. I love the sentiments that come with this set as well.

I didn'use any design paper on my card, just some cardstock in different colours. I embossed the white cardstock with Cuttlebug embossing folder and I used foam pads to give the card some dimension.

Hop to ths TGF blog to check out what my teamies made with this stamp set. And don't forget to come back again tomorrow for the second day of previews. ;)

Have a wonderful day! xx

Have a fairy good day

Good morning my crafty friends. I hope you've been enjoying your week so far and that it's not too hot where you are. We went to my parents' for lunch on Saturday and on Sunday we were having a quiet and lazy day at home. It's pretty hot outside during the day, so we stayed in and played with the little one and I even managed to do some crafting. :)

Over the last couple of days I moved my craft place - again. I'm back to my original place. A couple of weeks ago I moved all my crafty stuff to Amadeja's room. I thought I would set my craft area here and that my hubby  could go to my "old" craft place, but it didn't work out. So I'm back at my old place. It took me a while to get everything back here, but now I have things more organized and I put all the sharp and small objects on the top shelves and/or in the closet/drawer to keep them away from my baby girl. She's in the phase where she grabs everything she can get her hands of and puts those things in the mouth, so we nee to be careful.

Anyways, back to crafting ... I decorated another brown lunch bag and made a gift bag out of it.

I used this gorgeous purple paper that I had in my stash forever. The orange paper are actually recycled envelopes. I din't want to over-embellish my bag, so I only used a piece of pearl string and 2 flowers to decorate it. In the center of the purple flower I put the adorable little fairy from The greeting farm. She's from the recently released Little fairies stamp set and so is the sentiment. These stamps come with matching dies and I used that to cut the image out of the paper. Colouring was done with Promarkers and pencils.

For the handles I used a gorgeous orange twill tape ribbon from Crafty ribbons.

So much from me today. Have a great day!
Hugs! xx

Little mermaids, little fairies and more

Hello my crafty friends. I hope you've been enjoying your weekend so far. I sure have. :)

Remember the sheaky preview of the TGF stamp set I used on my card on Friday? Well, now that stamp set along with some other *very* cute stamps is available in the TGF store. You definitely want to check the blog to see all the previews and then also hop to the store to do some shopping. ;)

I played with Little fairies and Little mermaids stamp sets. They are SO cute and so versatile. I'll definitely be using them a lot.

First I want to show you a lollipop card I made with the Little fairies stamp set.

I love making these lollies and these stamps are perfect size for them. I used doily in the back and I made rosette with a piece of design paper that I had in my stash for a while. In the center of rosette I glued scalloped circle and white circle which I embossed with Cuttlebug's embossing folder. In the center on the circle I glued one of the cute fairies. I used Little fairies die cuts to cut the image out. . She's raised on foam pads for some extra dimension. I coloured her with Promarkers and pencils. I decorated the lolli with some gems and a piece of ribbon.

I'd like to enter my lollipop card to the following challenges:
Crafting by designs: Anything goes
Tuesday Throwdown: Fairies and fantasy

And this is the card I made with Little mermaids set.

I love this glittery paper.  I've had it in my stash for quite a while and now I finally decided to use it. I decorated the card wih some pearl string that I had in my stash, pearl flowers and some plastic shells that have been in my stash for quite a long time. They were actually part of some gift wrapping decoration and I decided to save them. I knew they would come handy one day. ;) Mermaids were coloured with Promarkers and pencils. I also used the matching die cut set to cut them out. Sentiment is part of the stamp set as well.

I'd like to enter my card to the following challenges:
Die cut divas: Make it glitter
Creatalicious: Anything goes (optional CAS)

So much from me today. Have a wonderful day!
Hugs! xx

H2O love

Good morning! :) It's another beautiful sunny day over here and summer is already in full swing. It's getting hotter and hotter during the day, so it's better to just stay inside and go for walks outside either in the early morning or in the evening. On days like this I wish I lived by the sea so I could just jump in the water to cool down a little.

At The Greeting Farm we have a new challenge for you and it's *perfect* for this time of year. The theme is H2O love - think sea, beach, mermaids ... Things like that. Simple, right?

A while ago I was browsing the Pinterest and came across a shaker card that was in a shape of a fish bowl (this is the card I was inspired by). I LOVED the idea and I knew I will have to make one similar too. This challenge seemed perfect for it, so I googled a free fish bowl template and went to work. This is the result.

Wondering where these adorable fishes (and other images, including the sentiment) came from? They are part of the amazing stamp set that will be available in the TGF store on July 3. Consider this a sneak peek. ;) And be sure to check the blog (and the store) on Sunday because I can guarantee you that you will want to see ALL of the things that are being released. Cuteness overload, I'm telling you. *naughty grin*

I coloured the images with distress inks and used some sequins in blue and silver colours for the shaker. To complete the look I used a piece of twine.

So much from me today. See you again soon! :)
