Bride & Groom
My daughter asked me to create a wedding card for a couple she knows that are getting married this fall. She wanted the colors to match those of the flowers the bride will be carrying. I stamped the background using those colors in chalk inks from VersaMagic and the Hero Arts Leaf & Floral background stamp. I stamped the wedding image from the Inkadinkado Wedding stamp set using Memento tuxedo black ink, colored it with my Copic markers, and fussy cut the image out. I stamped the sentiment using Versafine onyx black ink and a stamp from Paper Inspirations and cut it down to a banner using a straight edge die from Lawn Fawn. I mounted it to my background panel and die cut the entire thing using a stitched rectangle die from Paper Rose. I popped the panel up off of my A2 white card using thin foam tape and popped the couple up as well. I finished the card off by adding some clear sparkling sequins from Pretty Pink Posh for a little extra sparkle. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I appreciate you, and hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy birthday-Send A Smile 4 Kids
Hello, happy June! This month at Send A Smile 4 Kids we are celebrating teens. I have a friend who recently purged some craft supplies and gifted me a few older CTMH stamp sets. I used the Fun Times stamp set to create that fun green strip of critters. I stamped the images onto some green patterned paper from the Little Yellow Bicycle's Fern & Forest 6x6 paper pad using Hero Arts green ink. I cut that down into a smaller strip panel and mounted it on some early espresso cardstock from Stampin' UP. I cut down another panel of patterned paper from the paper pad and mounted that on dark brown cardstock and adhered the panel to my card base. I stamped some sub sentiments from The Greetery's PreText Sentiment stamp set using charcoal brown ink from Gina K Designs and cut them down into small sentiment strips and mounted them on brown cardstock. Using the top half of the Simon Says Stamp Birthday Wishes sentiment die, I die cut more of the same early espresso cardstock using the Birthday die. I attached that to a white panel and mounted that on brown cardstock. I adhered that to the card panel and added some fun yellow enamel dots from Simple Stories for a nice pop of color. Thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope you stop by the Send A Smile 4 Kids blog and see how the rest of the design team was inspired.

Have A Wonderful Day-Coffee And Cards With Celeste And Deb
Hello, and happy Sunday! This month Deb chose this beautiful mood board/color palette for our inspiration. I think it just screams Spring! I created my card by die cutting a stitched scalloped edge panel out of white 120lb cardstock using a Gina Marie Designs nesting scalloped rectangle die. Using a Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous grungy polka dot stencil and Tim Holtz distress ink in shaded lilac I stenciled the background dots. Using the TCW mini tattered lace stencil, I added the butterflies using Tim Holtz distress ink in black soot. I then taped off the edges of my panel using low tack tape and stamped the fun French script from the Tattered Angels Tattered Traveler stamp set using Gina K black ink. I stamped, colored, and fussy cut the floral images using Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Flower Garden stamp set. I adhered the stems directly to the panel using liquid glue and popped the flower tops up using foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from the Waltzing Mouse Stamps Old Country Roses stamp set using Versafine onyx black ink. I popped the whole panel up off of my card using thin foam tape and finished it off with some white gel pen detail and a few clear rhinestones from Recollections.
Now, be sure to stop by Deb's blog and see how she was inspired by this beautiful inspiration photo!

Take Me To The Beach
My card today was created for the latest Just Us Girls card challenge. I love this beautiful mood board, and just had to play along! I created my card by stenciling the Newton's Nook Retro Sun & Palms stencil (a freebie that I won recently) onto some white cardstock using Tim Holtz distress inks. I die cut the panel using a wonky stitch stacking rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs. I stamped the images and sentiment from Honey Bee's Flippin' Fabulous stamp set and used the coordinating die cuts to cut them out. I colored them and adhered them to my focal panel. I popped the focal panel up off of the card using foam tape and added a few clear rhinestones from Recollections for a pretty finishing touch. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you have a fabulous day!

Hello
Happy Friday! Today's card was created for the latest Color Throwdown card challenge. I have to say that clean and simple have never been my style when it comes to cardmaking. It's not that I don't love it when I see it. I've never been comfortable with that creative style. But I do have to say that I love this card. I started with a white card panel that I stamped the floral images from CTMH's Thoughts Of You stamp set using Gina K Designs basic black ink. I stamped the coordinating petal stamp using tempting turquoise, tangerine tango, and perfect plum inks from Stampin' UP. I filled in the stems with a C1 Copic marker for a little bit of contrast. I die cut a Hello sentiment using Stampin' UP black cardstock and adhered it to the focal panel. I die cut the panel using a stacking stitched rectangle die from My Favorite Things and popped it up off of the card using foam tape. I finished the card off by adding a bit of clear Wink of Stella shimmer pen to the petals. Unfortunately, my camera didn't do a good job picking that up on screen. Anyway, thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Friends Are Like Flowers
My card today was created for the latest Just Us Girls card challenge. I started by stamping my gnome garden scene from Inkadinkado's Garden Gnome stamp set onto some white Copic-friendly cardstock and colored them using my alcohol markers. I trimmed the panel down and mounted it onto some green cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from Stampendous True Friends stamp set and created a circle panel using a circle punch. Using patterned paper from Echo Park's Flower Market 6x6 paper pad I created a fun layout. I finished off my card by adding a stitched banner I created using a Unity die and green cardstock. I adhered that to the top left of my card for a bit of balance and visual interest. I finished off the card by adding a bit of white gel detail to the gnomes. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you have a wonderful day!

I Donut Know What I'd Do Without You!
Today I am guest designing for the Color Throwdown challenge. I started with a cream A2 card base. Using a piece of cream cardstock and Stampin' UP's crumb cardstock, I stenciled the coffee mugs using the Newton's Nook Mugs Stencil. I die cut a banner using light kraft cardstock and a nesting banner die from Unity Stamp Company. I adhered that to the stenciled panel, and cut the whole thing down using a stacking, stitched rectangle die from Paper Rose. I stamped the sentiment onto the banner using a sentiment stamp from Close To My Heart's Treats Of Friendship Occasions and Memento cocoa brown ink. I adhered that panel onto a piece of royal blue cardstock, popped it up with some foam tape and adhered that to the card. I stamped the coffee cup and donut from Close To My Heart's Pumpkin Treats stamp set and Copic-friendly ink. I colored the images using my alcohol markers and die cut them out using the coordinating dies. I popped those up off of the card using more foam tape and added some white gel pen detail and some fun blue enamel dots from Recollections for some additional interest. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. I would love it if you played along with us this week for our color challenge!

Love You To The Beach And Back-Send A Smile 4 Kids
It's the first week of May, and this month at Send A Smile 4 Kids we are celebrating all of the special men in our lives. I'm still blessed to have my father with me, and this card was created for him. He lives in a beach community in Florida and has always loved sailing. I created this card by layering some gorgeous patterned paper from Simple Stories Vintage Seas 6x8 paper pad onto some navy cardstock from Hobby Lobby. Using nothing but ephemera from the Nautical Bits & Pieces I created my scene. I added a sentiment from the same collection and a few sequins from The Ton and called this card done. I don't create too many cards where I literally do no stamping, but this card has no stamping at all! Be sure to stop by the Send A Smile 4 Kids blog and see how the rest of the design team was inspired by our challenge this month.
