All Dressed Up Skater
When I saw the Challenge over at Cute Card Thursday was Monochrome I decided to make a black and white Christmas card. When I hear monochrome I think of black and white. So I chose this cute All Dressed Up Little Skater. Doesn't she look cute in black and white. I followed the sketch over at Papertake Weekly. I used a few embossing folders which I think are from Crafters Companion. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions, and the snowflake is from an Xcut die set. I am also entering her into the Challenge over at All Dressed Up where they have an anything goes theme.

All Dressed Up Challenge #39
I have managed to finish another card. This time it is for the Challenge over at All Dressed Up where they have an anything goes theme. This cute image was a freebie from here. I have coloured them with Polychromos and paper stumps with Sansador. The papers are from Nitwits, and are lovely too. I have a thing about adding doilies at the mo (which I have had for at least a few years) which I distressed with walnut stain distress ink. The love hearts are Sizzix dies and the sentiment is from Kanban.

Tiddly Inks - Have a Heart
When I saw the theme over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge - Have a heart, I thought hmm, I can't have many images with a heart. Haha, how wrong was I. In fact I had this cutie all coloured up. Now don't laugh, but I liked how the colouring went, so couldn't bear to use her. But, now my colouring has been improving I thought I could use her. But - yes, I'm still liking how she turned out. I decided to make a gift bag for the Step Daughters Birthday. I had to get this image for her. She has a wee car just like this (well maybe not quite, but near enough - Haha), so it is coloured to match. Although her hair is now blonde, but hey ho, no worries. The papers are First Edition. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions. They were a wee bit smaller than I thought they would be, but I can see me using them a lot. And don't forget the cute image by Tiddly Inks. The bag I got from Hobbycraft. I'm guessing they were on offer as I seem to have a few packs.
And another Tiddly Inks card. This was for the theme from the last Challenge. I never got it all stuck down in time, but decided to finish it instead of pushing it to the side and forgetting about it. So this Super Pup has been coloured with Polychromos pencils and blended with Sansador and paper stumps. The papers are from Sweet Shoppe Designs by Dani Mogstad and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

The Sugar Bowl 127
Running late as usual, but have finished my card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge. I have used this wee cute Fairy from Sugar Nellie, but I think she has now retired. I have coloured her with Copics and added some Wink of Stella sparkly stuff to her wings. She is nice and sparky, but you can't see in the picture. The papers are from Michele Roo Designs and the sentiment is from Whimsy stamps. The snowflakes are dies from X Cut. And the doilies were just there in front of me, and was crying out to be added. So I was happy to oblige. Haha.

Slinky Sketch Saturday
For my card I have followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday, I so needed a sketch to work from. My mojo has been away on holiday for a wee while now. I'm hoping this is it coming back now. The image is from Slinky Tart, I do love these images just now. I have to admit colouring unusual colours for hair is so hard for me. But my Cousin is always dying her hair red, so I thought just go for it. Guitars make me think of her, I made her Wedding invites and used those Guitar die cuts, The Guitar die is a very old one from Ellison. No design paper, just coloured card, but I think it works here. I also want to enter it into the Cute Card Thursday Challenge where they have an anything goes theme.

Christmas Tags
More Christmas tags made. Maybe this could get me into making some Christmas cards now. Hmm, will give it a go. The papers are downloads from Sweet Shoppe Designs. Both sets are by Kristen Cronin Barrow. The blues are Deck the Halls - Chic, and the green is Deck the Halls - Classic. The images are all from different places. The skater girl is from All Dressed Up, the owl is from Di's Digi's and the fairy girl is from Sugar Nellie (but I think she could now be sold out and retired). I kept them all the same design to keep it easier for me. They may be small, but can take me ages with moving bits around here, there and everywhere. I am going to enter them into the challenge over at Papertake Weekly where they have a choice of themes. I went with tags. I am also entering them into the ABC Christmas Challenge where the theme is Off the edge.
