Greeting Farm Fresh Challenge: 3D

Hello there!  Today I am sharing this fun mailbox I made for my Valentines Day decor. When I think of Valentines days of my childhood, I remember making Valentines mailboxes for school parties. I would cut a slit in the lid of a shoe box to make a mailbox opening, and decorate the box with hearts and such.
I had an old freebie mailbox cut file from silhouette that I used to create the mailbox.  The cut file worked fine, but I don't love that the sides stick out funny at the top, and once put together you can't open the mailbox up.  So much for a cute treat box or something, but it does make cute decor!

I colored up one of the girls from Greeting Farm Mini remix-Happy.  These girls are so much fun to color!  I used Tombow markers, and loved how it came together.  I finished her up with a bit of wink of stella to add some shimmer.

Supplies:
Ink: Versafine onyx black
Stamps: Greeting Farm mini remix Happy, Honey Bee Special Delivery
Finishing Touches: Wink of Stella Clear Shimmer Pen

Fabulous Florals & Masking

Hello there!  Today I am sharing a card I am so excited about!  I have been wanting to try masking a bunch of critters on a card, and found a video here that really helped me figure it out.  I love how she shows her process of figuring out what she wants in front, and how to stamp a mask quickly while stamping the card also!
I am waiting for some cute critter stamps to arrive in my mailbox (my motivation for learning masking), so I decided to try it with some gorgeous flowers I got for Christmas.  I colored these in quickly with my tombow dual brush pens, while blending with a wink of stella shimmer pen.

Supplies Used:
Paper: Recollections Card Form, full sticky post-its for masking
Stamps: Lawn Fawn:  Flutter By,  Honey Bee:  Special Delivery
Coloring: Tombow Dual Brush Pens, Wink of Stella

This was a little bit time consuming, but a very rewarding technique to try.  I will keep trying it until I'm fast at it.  I am a big fan of making 4-6 cards at once, so hopefully I can figure out a system to help me do this with masking too.

Valentines 2017

Hi there!  Today I am sharing a Valentine I made for my 2 year old daughter, who loves PINK!  I went with a monochromatic pink card, and really had fun coloring this greeting farm image (oh I love how cute their people are!).
I made this card quickly on Valentines day during nap time.  I was racing the clock, so I had to do something quick and fun.  My daughter has been carrying it around the house, so I think she likes it!
I am linking this card up to MarkerPOP's blog challenge.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Image-Greeting Farm Mini-Remix Happy, Sentiment- one I found randomly a few years ago at Tuesday morning
Ink: Versafine onyx black, Versamark, Distress Ink-spun sugar
Paper: Recollections card form and Bristol Smooth for coloring
Markers: Tombow Dual Brush pens (LOVE THESE!) & Wink of Stella Clear Shimmer Pen
