Thanks!

Thanks for all the advice I got on my blue crayon mess! No I still haven't gotten it out of the couch cover or the blanket, but I still have a couple of things to try. And thanks to the Magic Eraser my dryer is now crayon free!

I was thinking how funny it is, when something awful happens, what do I do? Grab the camera take some pictures and blog about it! I think it helps, exspecially when other moms comment and say they have done the same thing! So thanks, and wish me luck!

P.S. Jaime Hulsey if you see this I don't have an invite from you, send me another one. wilkinsja@cox.net

I hope this never happens to you!

So yesterday the little boy I babysit for was sitting in the corner of my couch. Well his diaper must have been off duty for the day, because everything that was suppose to be in the diaper was now all over my couch cover! At this point I was very grateful that I did have a cover that I could just slip off and throw into the wash with the blanket and baby toys that were now covered in poo!

This morning as I'm doing my daily house cleaning I go to get the things out of the dryer and this is what I find,
It didn't come through in the picture very well. But the whole inside was blue as well

Some how a blue crayon got into the dryer with all my stuff and of course melted all over! I wanted to cry! At first I thought I got lucky and that it had only gotten on the blanket and baby toys (if you can call that lucky) but as I pulled out the couch cover I realized that the whole dried was covered in blue as well as my couch cover! I quickly sprayed everything down and am now washing everything again! Hoping, crossing my fingers that by some miracle, it comes out (I know, it will take a miracle!) Please please tell me I'm not going to have to buy a new dryer! Wish me luck I'm off to more scrubbing!

This poor little puppy use to be pink, now she is a little blue! I know this is dumb but this was one of my favorite baby toys!

Here is the blanket spotted with blue! I couldn't bare to take pics of the couch cover, I just hope it comes out!

Freedom..... Oh I mean the first day of school!

A couple of weeks ago the kids started school again. Emmy is in 2nd grade, and Tucker is starting Kindergarten. I was so excited for Tucker to start school this year, but when it came down to it I was a little sad! He just seems so little to me. It did make me feel a lot better knowing that Emmy was at the school with him. And she does take good care of him. She walks him to his class every day. Emmys teacher is even so nice to let her leave just a second earlier everyday after school so she can walk down to Tuckers class and pick him up. I'm thankful for a teacher who puts up with a nervous Mom, having a child start kindergarten. I also love Tuckers teacher, she is who I wanted him to get. She is very arts and crafts, which I think is so good for kindergarten exspecially since he is all day.

Tucker on his first day looking so handsome! I can't believe he is starting school, sniff sniff!

Emmy looking very adorable! She insisted that this year she take a messenger bag instead of a backpack! So fashionable!

So far both kids are doing very well and loving being back in school! Tucker is a little warn out when he gets home but I know in a couple of months he will be fine! Emmy is excited and looking forward to learning to write in cursive (do they learn that is 2nd grade?). And Tucker can't wait to learn to read! I hope they both have a great year!

Total Bliss!

I feel like our life's have been turned up side down lately. Josh has been working out of town during the week, and since I have 3 baby sitting kids during the week it means we do a lot of staying home! Which means on the weekends we have to cram everything we need to get done into just one day. So it is usually a lot of Josh staying home with the kids while I run errands. Or me and Josh passing each other handing off the kids while we try to squeeze everything in. So you can imagine how excited I was for a long weekend away in the mountains with nothing to do except the occasional (and I do mean occasional) face wipe down, and no where to go!
Heap Reunion 2009
We went up early Thursday morning and totally enjoyed our family and the outdoors! Here is a little (oh, ok a lot) of what when on!
There was a whole lot of this going on! Oops! I think I was suppose to be watching him while his mom was gone on the quad! At least he had fun right! This is my adorable nephew Bryte!

I think he was afraid he was about to get in trouble!

This is Rylenn making the world famous Witches Brew! I actually don't really know what Witches Brew is, I just know I made it when I was a kid! It's a mixture of mud, water, leaves, and anything else that you might think would go good in it. The best part is, you mix it in the hollow of a log! (this is the cleanest I saw her all week, it must have been just after that occasional wipe down!)Ok now this was a funny story! My nephew Brig had been counting down the days till he could get up on the mountain and shoot himself a chipmunk! So my cousin Colton took him and his son Mason out hunting several times a day, and they always came back empty handed (he was using a BB gun, so I think most of us knew his chances were small.) Well a couple of days into the camping trip Brig leaves to go hunting, and comes back with this little guy! We were all shocked! Colton said he has no idea how it happened! He said the chipmunk just kind of fell out of the tree near Brigs feet. We were all laughing and joking saying that the poor chipmunk saw Brig coming and decided to just end things and jumped! But we didn't say that to him of course we all congratulated him on having the best shot around! He was pretty proud! I couldn't believe it! Talk about a dream come true! This is Brig with his hunting face!

Haydenn just enjoying being outside! And for those of you wondering, yes she did start to walk right before we left, but the bumpy ground didn't help her at all. So mostly she just crawled and was a filthy mess the whole time!

Thanks to my in-laws who so graciously let us take up their 2 quads. There was a whole lot of this going on. Everybody else had there quads to, so it was just nice to be able to join in on the fun! On the quad is my nephew Hyrum then Tucker then nephew Bryte, my brother Cam is driving and Rylenn is in front. After that comes a lot of this! Since we barley got any rain, it was so dusty. So any time you went out on the quads this is what you came back looking like! Cameron covered in dirt!

While we were there I took some family pics of my sister and her 3 boys! They are so stinkin cute! I love these guys!
After I took pics of Brandi and the boys, these two little rascals wanted me to take pics of them!

These two crack me up! They can be the best of friends or the worst of enemies. Thankfully most of the time they are best friends! They were so cute together all weekend and had a blast!
Rylenn was in heaven playing outside all day long! Someone please remind me why we live down here in this heat, where the majority of the year you have to be cooped up inside!

Here is that famous face that I love so much! Tucker with those gorgeous dark eyes and all those freckles, although in this pic those freckles are covered with dirt. Even with all the dirt he still melts my heart!

I can so remember doing this with my Dad when I was a little girl! Riding the bucking bull! He grabs ahold of your hands and feet and then bounces you up and down usually on a couch, but your lap works to. He tells them they are on a bucking bull and after a couple of bucks. He tips them over and says you got bucked off! Haydenn loves to do this with my Dad, I think she could do it all day long!

I think this pic is so funny! I have no idea what she is doing, I think I told her to say cheese and this is what I got!

No this isn't real! But Tucker had just as much fun, scaring everyone with it! Crazy kid!
Here is a group of us doing what we did most of the week and that is play Scum! We would play for hours on end. But just a word of warning, Scum can bring out the most competitive side in anyone! Me included! Those were some serious games of Scum!

Every year Emmys birthday falls over the Heap Reunion weekend. So she always gets to celebrate with all her cousins. This year I was a little lazy,(or as I like to think of it, as a little creative) and didn't want to spend hours in the camper by myself wrapping presents. So we sent Emmy and all the cousins on a scavenger hunt all over the mountain looking for her presents! I think the kids had a really good time. It was so funny to watch them run from place to place, like they were about to find gold or something. After they found all the gifts we came back to the camp site and had cake and played "Freeze Dance" to Emmys new Taylor Swift CD. Here is all the cousins getting ready to play. I love how Bryte is coping exactly what Emmy is doing!
The kids played so hard all day long that by the time the sun went down the kids were dropping like flies! All you needed was to get them to sit still by the fire and that was the trick, out they went! It seemed like Tucker was always the first to go!

This is my cousin Kashley! Always willing to pose for a picture!

Saying good bye. This is always the worst day! This is Emmy with her two most favorite people in the world, Brinley and Kashley!

By the last day everyone is pretty much exhausted. This is Hyrum laying down on the toy haulers loading ramp!

I love this picture of Bryte! Just being himself!

My little sister Sawyer and my cousin Crew! There are best buddies! They think they are to cool to pose for a picture, it was like pullin teeth to get this one!

This is my cousin Erikas little girl, Holland. She is so cute! Her and Haydenn are really close in age. This year they both pretty much just stuck by their moms but hopefully in years to come they will be great friends!

These girls had a total blast all weekend! They would play in the tent for hours at a time, coloring and rocking out to music and just being girls. I'm so glad Emmy has so many girls to play with. They are making memories that will last a life time. Jayden, Saylor, Kashley, Emmy and Brinley.Just like every other year, we had a blast! Can't wait to see everyone again next year!

Introducing.....

Daphney! This is Daphney at one day old. Snuggling with Mom, Zoey. This pic just melts my heart!

I had no idea that a pet could cause so much stress! But after a long labor and delivery our Boxer Zoey had a whopping 1 puppy. Are you kidding me, 1 puppy! All of that and we end up with 1 puppy. It is a good thing she is so stinkin cute!

Daphney just before her eyes started to open!

So yes we have a puppy for sale. My kids have named her Daphney. She really is so cute and we love her already! It is going to be a sad day in our house when she has to go to her new home. But we are preparing for that day. Since she is the only puppy, she has all the milk she wants and boy does it show. She is one "healthy" puppy. She is such a good puppy, she hardly makes any noise, only when she wants to nurse. And so far she has been pretty mellow! Please pass the word around to anybody you know. We are selling her for $375.00. Which is a really good price! I priced them online and I found anywhere from $500- $1200.

Rylenn has been like a second mom to Daphney!

Both Mom (Zoey) and Dad (Bronx) are beautiful fancy fauns. Every time I have Zoey out people always stop me and ask me if she is for sale. Boxers are very good family dogs. I have 4 kids that love to play with Zoey. She is very patient and understanding of all the tugging and pulling and lots of hugging my kids do to her.

So if you are looking for a good pet for your kids and family I have the perfect one! Just leave me a comment or email me at wilkinsja@cox.net

A couple of pictures of Mom Zoey! I love my Dog!

This is Daphneys Dad Bronx. Very good looking Dog!

Zoey and Bronx together. I know they look almost identical, Bronx is just a little more stout! Both beautiful dogs! I guess that is why Daphney is so dang cute!

What would we do without Ry?

The last couple of days Rylenn has said some of the most funny things!

While we were camping at my family reunion Rylenn came up to me and was holding her bum and said "Mom I have to go poop" I kind of brushed her off a little and said ok just a second (I was really into our card game Scum, and didn't really want to get up). Then again holding her bum she says "uh, Mom that is the sound that my bum makes when it has to go poop" Well we all started busting up laughing and I immediately took her to go poop!

Then today I took the two little girls to the grocery store with me, they were hungry when we got there and I knew that they wouldn't last, so I walked over to the bakery and asked them if they wanted a cookie. Rylenn said " oh Mom it's like a dream come true". I was laughing so hard and said what is, getting a cookie? She said "yes, getting this cookie is like a dream come true!" I think she has watched to many princess movies, what do you think?
Over the 4th of July weekend my Dad borrowed my camera and took Lexi (sister) and Cameron (brother) and some of their friends out to see this beautiful water fall and look at this cute little guy they ran into.

My Dad thought he wasn't as young as he looked maybe like a teenager. But they said this little guy sure put on a show for them. I just wish I could have been there to see it!

My sister Lexi with a couple of her friends at the water fall.

My brother Cameron and sister Lexi with my Dad at the water falls!

Goofing off, what we do best!

Hey ladies, my very cute brother Cameron is currently available. Any takers?

More fun on the 4th

I know this is getting a little bit ridiculous, with all the posts about the 4th of July week we had. But for journaling purposes how can I leave anything out?

The best part about the 4th of July is when everybody goes home and I get to stay for an extra couple of days. The town goes back to its slow pace life style where every one is just sitting on their porches and enjoying the nice weather!

My kids have always been early risers. But when we are in Eagar then get up when the sun comes up. It's like they can't waste one minute of day light. And of course they are outside the second they open their eyes. So here is what grandma found for them to do. We needed to empty the pool from the day before but it was to heavy for us to lift and we really didn't want to waste all that water, the grass had been watered enough! Grandma gave each of the kids their own bucket and they went back and forth getting water and then dumping it on the flowers!

This is Haydenns way of helping out in the morning. Parked on the porch in her pj's with a bag of gold fish!

Rylenn enjoying the tire swing at Grandma's!

Although it looks like she is a little scared, Haydenn loved the swing, we couldn't get her out!

Kayden and Emmy doing the spider together on the swing!

The kids never came inside that day! I even had to bring the clothes outside to get them dressed! My Aunt and her four kids had stayed an extra couple of days as well and they were staying at my grandmas house which is right next door. So the kids just played all day going back and forth between the two houses! I think it was like 8:30pm before they even came in. I love long summer days with cousins!
