Back To School

August 5th 2015
1st day back to school for Emmy and Tucker. After much prayer and fasting we have decided to home school Ry and Steve and Breck. But that is a different story. And they will be starting a different day.
I had Ry, Steve and Breck help me decorate a table and fix a special breakfast for Emmy and Tuckers back to school.
Always a funny guy. Holding his sign upside down
I love taking back to school pictures. Tucker is such a handsome boy!

Tucker's got it pretty easy this year. All of his teachers (they rotate classes) this year are teachers that Emmy either had or that she played sports for. They all loved Emmy so already he has a leg up. You can thank Em for that Tuck.
Oh how I love those freckles!

We took all summer to fast and pray about whether we should home school Tucker. For selfish reasons I really wanted him home but he has such a gift of sticking up for the underdog or the kid that's getting bullied that I knew he might need to be in school. That there may be a kid out there that needs him. I really wanted Tucker to feel the spirit and be apart of our decision. We fasted and prayed many times and it wasn't until a couple of days before school started that I think we finally made the decision to send him to school. I think a huge weight was lifted off of his shoulders once the decision was made. And after taking him to parent teacher night I had an overwhelming feeling of peace and knew he had made the right choice. So Tucker, you have something to accomplish this year at school, you are suppose to be there for a reason! Follow the spirit, do your best and have a good time. The world is yours!
Emmy so grown up and so gorgeous! I can't believe she is the big dog on JH campus.
 Next year high school awwwww!
From the very beginning of our thoughts of home school we never really considered bringing Emmy home. 1. I know she would hate me for it. 2.I think the freedom they start to get in JH is important. 3. I'm not sure I have the knowledge to home school an 8th grader. and 4. It just wasn't right for her. Josh and I both knew her place was at school. Even though she was never part of our plans to home school she has been super supportive of us doing the little kids and a huge help.

I blinked and she's all grown up.

Silly Kids

I love these 2 kiddos so much and will miss them terrible when they are at school. We have a lot of fun things planned for home school with a lot of gospel principles that I wish they could be apart of. But I know that the world needs them too. Have a great school year Emmy and Tucker. Love you to pieces!

Puppies

August 6 2015
Here are some pictures of our adorable puppies. It was kind of hard to take pictures of these little guys so they aren't the best. These were taken 2 days ago and today they started to open their eyes. So in a couple of days I'll take some more with their eyes open. I know the names are kind of cheesy, buy you try to name 11 puppies :)

This first puppy is Ace, male
We didn't get very good pictures of Ace, sorry. Ace is very blue with little dark spots
Ace's whole face is blue, which is kind of cute

This is Bear, male, he is one of our favorites he is the only black puppy that has some brown on his face and paws.
He really does look like a bear with the brown in his face
One more of Bear, you can kind of see the brown running through him.
This is Bear again with a close up

Bear with a good shot of his open eyes

You can see the brown running through Bear's leg.

This is Lucky, female. She got a brick dropped on her, you can kind of see the dent in her tail. "Lucky" for her we chopped their tails and now you can't even tell.

This is Fitz Herbert, male, another one of our favorites and probably the one with the most personality so far. He is our biggest and fluffiest puppy. He always makes sure he gets his fair share of milk and will push the others off till he's full. He was our fist walker and even with his eyes closed he was exploring.
He also has some of the best coloring. He has that brown running through his face along with the blue and black. This puppy will definitely be hard to say goodbye to.

 This puppy is Inky, male.
I love that cute little face. Almost could pass as a baby skunk.
 One more of Inky

This is Minnie, female. She is our smallest puppy but doesn't seem to be in any danger. She is very submissive when another puppy comes and is fitting for the tit she is on, she always gives it up. She is very cuddly and loves to just snuggle up. she has beautiful markings. I love her speckled nose and thick white collar.

 Steve with her favorite Bear
We had to rip Sherman out of Breckynns hand to cut his tail. She couldn't understand why we would do that to him. So sad, she loves that puppy.

This is Rowdy, male. he looks like he got in a fight with one black eye.
 Rowdy has great markings
 Rowdy's face
For some reason we got a lot of pictures of Rowdy
 Rowdy's close up

This is Sherman, Female. She may not be leaving our home. I have a very attached 4 year old girl who loves her so much. And the rest of us have kind of fallen in love too. She has a very white face with the cutest speckled nose.
Sherman mostly blue and white with little spots of black
 one more of Sherman

This is Vector, male. Notice his v shaped collar.

Vector's close up

This is Blue, female. She has been our favorite from the start because of her distinct markings on her face being half blue and half black. This may be the one that gets to be ours forever
Blue, love that 2 toned face

Blue also has really good markings

Blue's close up. Her eyes are almost open
This is Boon, male. He has a black notch out of his white collar
Boon's close up. Love those open eyes. His eyes were the first open.
